The Jasmine Room by Venue is a beautiful banquet hall venue located inside the Grand Manse building in downtown Lincoln, NE. The Grand Manse is an iconic, historic monument in Lincoln, and was originally built in 1904. This stately destination features classic architecture, marble details, oak finishes, and brass elements throughout, giving that old-world elegance. It is on the National Register of Historic places, and stands as an homage to days gone by. Inside the Grand Manse, you will find The Jasmine Room. This special reception hall has played host to many weddings and celebrations. In keeping with the decor and aesthetics of the building, The Jasmine Room exudes vintage charm combined with contemporary sophistication. Its open-plan layout, moody lighting, and antique bar are sure to set the scene for your event. The space can accommodate up to 400 people seated and 700 people standing, making for a grand affair. The space also boasts the original wooden dance floor, French doors that open up onto the airy patio, and even an LED skylight.

I’ve had the pleasure of attending multiple events at the Jasmine Room, and I can confidently say it’s a fantastic venue for weddings and other special occasions. Also, the staff are exceptional! They are friendly, attentive, and truly go above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly. You can tell they care about making each event memorable.

My husband and I had our reception at the Jasmine Room and had a great experience! You reserve the entire weekend so you can set up/tear down much easier. The event coordinator calls your vendors and confirms set up times, etc. and that is insanely helpful! We had a day-of coordinator and she went ABOVE and BEYOND for us and helped us have a relaxing and fun reception. I will say--for your bar tab-- you should be sure to cap the $$ a little lower than you'd like as there is a 20% gratuity automatically tacked on and that can really add to your final charge! Again, highly recommend this lovely venue for any reception or event!

The reception hall turned out beautifully and we were able to customize it to make it our own! Loved the package that included linens, chairs, staff, etc that made it very easy to organize the whole event, only working with 1-2 people. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Jasmine Room!

Absolutely loved our experience with the Grand Manse! They took care of so many things for us and they ensured that we didn't leave out any details for planning! All of the staff was very respectful and helpful. The venue itself was beautiful. Would highly recommend.

First I will talk about all the positives, beautiful location - don't really need much in the form of centerpieces and other decorations because the place is just beautiful. The staff was extremely helpful. Now the negatives... they advertise that it will fit 450 for a sit down dinner... I am not sure where the people will sit. When I booked the Jasmine room I had a head count of about 380. They assured me this was a great number. I felt even better when my final headcount was 300. When I walked in the day before to set up, I was so upset there was no pathway to the bar, or anywhere just a table right when you walked in. My friends and I rearranged the tables to allow for a walkway to the bar/food area. 300 I would say is the max amount you would want for this venue. It was backed as is... I have no idea where they would have even put the 8 other tables, let alone 15 for their full capacity. You wouldn't even be able to walk around to get to your table. I would say if you have more then 300 I would look else where. Other then that absolutely beautiful place. I am rating 3 out of 5 stars just for that issue of advertising it fits... because when you see it, its empty you don't know what it looks like full. But if I a smaller wedding it would be perfect.

My husband and I used the Grand Hall for our reception space in June 2015 and it was absolutely stunning. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The event coordinator, Lisa is fantastic! She kept us calm and organized and was super understanding. If there was something we didn't know about planning, she had the answers! We would have our reception there again in a heartbeat!

The venue was the perfect size for our fairly large wedding! Working with the event coordinator was great and I felt like everything was organized so the night would run very smoothly.
My parents stayed in a suite on site which was great for storing decorations, food, gifts, etc. The downfall was that the morning of the wedding the air conditioning went out so they were moved to a suite on the 3rd floor. It was a hiccup that we weren't expecting, but we made the best of it.

We held our reception in the Jasmine Room, and it was beautiful! The room has a sort of Art Deco theme and is so pretty we hardly had to decorate it. The staff was very helpful with set up, and they did a great job organizing the evening. We also stayed the night in one of the Grand Manse's suites, which was very convenient and very nice.

I won a gift certificate for this vendor at a bridal fair and they were not courteous when I wanted to use it. Also, they made me feel not good enough when they picked serving other customers over my tasting.

The whole experience was fabulous!!!! Ashley was so nice and helpful. She was a real trooper as we worked to fit the maximum number of tables and chairs into the space. The bartenders were amazing! They were friendly, knowledgeable, and conscientious of the customer's needs and if they needed to be politely cut off. They even made a drink named after my husband for our wedding day.

We had our cermeony and reception at the Grand Manse. The ceremony was upstairs in the Grand Hall, and the reception was downstairs in the Jasmine Room. Everything was BEAUTIFUL and we received multiple comments on the elegence and charm of the venue. However, it is on the pricey side and for the amount of money they charge was very disappointed in the professionalism of the staff. Some of them were extremely rude and hard to deal with.
