Jamie has been amazing to work with for my wedding. She was able to accommodate a later-than-usual booking request and quickly set me up for a trial. Since we already had a makeup artist and only needed a hair styling, she was also flexible and willing to help up with just hair styling for me and my wedding party, which I greatly appreciate. Her professionalism and skills stood out throughout the process. She asked great questions and helped me explore and figure out what hair style I would love for my wedding. On the day of the wedding, she worked well with the timeline resulting in there being no stress at all during preparation time. My wedding party and I loved our hair styles and they turned out great in pictures throughout the day. Would highly recommend Jamie - she's so good in what she does, professional, and fun to work with.

I loved working with Jamie for my wedding makeup! I found Jamie through the internet based on her reviews and I was thrilled when she was available to do on site makeup for me and my family. The whole experience with her was wonderful. She is extremely warm and welcoming, from the moment we met during the trial to the day of- just a pleasure to be around. Jamie is very skilled and had a way of making each of us feel beautiful. As someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup, I had a few tweaks after the trial to go lighter here or less there and she listened and adjusted the approach based on my feedback. Jamie is professional, kind, talented, and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend!

Jamie did my hair and makeup for an event and I looked spectacular! It lasted all evening without any issue. I was on a very tight timeline and she stuck to it and made the process fun. Highly recommend!

Jamie was an incredible makeup artist and stylist to work for for my wedding day. I normally don't wear a ton of make up, so when I told her I did not want something too glam (apart from some banging false eyelashes) she was very attuned to my requests. I wish there was a way for the trial to be cheaper but it gave us space for tiny alterations and to be honest she does deserve compensation for the time, attention, and skill she brings to each client. I was thrilled with the final result and felt very confident throughout our wedding day. I can attest that her products are tear proof as well!

Jamie has been such a great person to work with! She has such a bubbly personality and a ton of knowledge to guide brides through the whole wedding glamor process. She did my hair and makeup for my engagement photos and it turned out gorgeous, the makeup even held up in a light rain! I've booked her services for my wedding in May and can't wait to see the result.

Jamie is beyond wonderful! I first found her for my wedding hair and makeup back in June and I loved her so much I started going to her for my regular hair coloring and cuts. Jamie is so talented and passionate about making sure her clients are completely comfortable before, during and after services. I cannot recommend her enough.

Jamie was the hair stylist for my wedding, and she did an incredible job! She is such a sweetheart, and created some really beautiful hairstyles for my bridesmaids, our moms, and me. I had a pretty big group of people getting their hair done, but Jamie stuck perfectly to the schedule and even finished a bit early which ended up working out nicely. I would highly recommend hiring her for your wedding!!

Jamie is the absolute best! She did my wedding hair and makeup, as well as hair and makeup for my MIL and SIL. We all have very different hair types, skin tones, and styles we like, and she totally nailed all of our looks. I was so happy that I have started going to her for my everyday hair needs, and have used her already once for professional photos as well. I cannot recommend highly enough!

Jamie is incredibly talented with hair and makeup! My 5 bridesmaids, my mom, my grandmother, and I all got services and we all looked phenomenal! Also, she is extremely organized and professional which lets be honest that matters just as much when it comes to weddings… Lastly, she is the sweetest! I met her when she did my hair/make up for a friends wedding and decided to continue with her because not only is she good but she’s also just so kind. Recommend 1000%.

Jamie is SO talented; I told her I think she's going to be famous someday, that's how good her work is. She's also just the genuinely nicest and kindest person. I eloped and was looking for a wedding vendor to fit me in on a month's notice, on a Thursday. She graciously flexed her schedule to fit me in for both hair and makeup, and did a truly incredible job. I am not someone who wears a lot of makeup, so I sent her some examples of what I wanted in advance (I didn't have time to do a trial). The day of, she walked me through exactly what she understood I wanted based on the photos I had sent, and then talked me through what she was going to do. Things I wasn't sure about (like fake lashes), she detailed all the options and how they would look / feel, and helped me decide. In short, she was amazing and my make-up and hair turned out even better than I could have imagined! My husband was very impressed :) Her place was also super COVID-safe - it's a single studio so there's no risk of overlap with other customers, and you are only in the room with her. All in all, I cannot recommend her more highly - I have been going back to her for all my hair and makeup needs post-wedding :)

I could not have imagined choosing anyone else for my big day. From first interactions through email, to the trial, to my wedding day, Jamie was very easy to talk to, so fun, and truly the best at what she does. Jamie came on site for make up, which was super convenient and got us all done on time and allowed us to purchase setting powder and lip products in case we needed a touch up through the night. She was wonderful and I highly recommend :)

Jamie was so wonderful to work with! She was so kind, sweet and such a light in these hard times as a Covid bride. She did hair and makeup for me my bridal party and mom. Everyone looked so beautiful all day long and got so many compliments. I would recommend her a thousand times! She has her own makeup line that was absolutely amazing! I even bought so many products from her after my wedding because of how great I looked at both the trial and wedding day. I’m so happy I found her! I can’t wait to get in with her to get balayage done to my hair!

I got married about 6 weeks after our engagement and Jamie was one of many who helped make that a reality. Jamie is a great communicator and very transparent regarding availability, services and pricing. It was easy to book her for our special day. I loved that Jamie was able to travel to me and help myself and the other get ready while we could be comfortable at home enjoying eachother's company. She was super sweet and pleasant to chat with throughout the getting ready process. Jamie did an amazing job with hair and makeup; everyone was more than pleased with their look. Hair and makeup lasted all day without an issue. I would definitely have Jamie do hair and makeup again for any future events.

Jamie was amazing to work with! She did an amazing job looking at my pinterest page and figuring out what look I was going for (since I am definitively not a girl with a lot of makeup knowledge) without me having to find the wording to explain it. I LOVED that she offered lashes with makeup pricing, and also that she carries all of her makeup for retail so you could buy your lip color or powder to do touch ups later. She did makeup for myself, my mom and my sister (MOH), and we all got a LOT of compliments on how good our makeup looked.

I was extremely thankful for Jamie being available for my wedding! We had some last-minute changes due to COVID and I had to find another artist last minute. I was so thankful for Jamie’s constant communication and professionalism. We met for a trial and I was over the moon excited to have found her for our wedding day. She explained everything to me about how she was going to apply my makeup and I let her work her magic! She asked me thorough questions about how I liked my make-up, hair and I felt so comfortable and beautiful by the time she was finished. She is very personable and I wish we lived closer so that I could benefit from her other services. She is also extremely sweet and I had a great time with her, and the time flew by. It didn't feel awkward or like she didn't care. She cared very much and was extremely accommodating on my wedding day as well. Needless to say, I've spoken to another artist who seemed uninterested and when I asked them questions, they seemed like it bothered them. However, Jamie answered in detail all the questions that I had and was extremely responsive and I appreciated that as a bride. I would recommend her a thousand times over!

Jamie is a life saver. She came to my hotel during a power outage to do my bridal party's hair and make-up. She and her assistant were so relaxed and bubbly and put us at ease at a time when I would otherwise have been having a breakdown about the lack of power. They literally did our makeup using the light from a window in the breakfast area and did our hair using the one emergency power outlet the front desk would allow them access to. It was a crazy morning, but looking at their final product, you would never know it. Jamie is a great listener and is willing to do anything to make sure your hair and makeup vision matches your reality.

Jamie is so sweet and does a fantastic job! I was very happy with the on-site offering and appreciated the trial before the wedding too. Jamie and her assistant were able to do exactly what we all wanted for hair and makeup, and made any adjustments we asked for without hesitation. Jamie did the hair for me, my mom and mom-in-law on my wedding day. I went to her studio to do the trial just 2 days before my wedding because I live out of State and the schedule was just not quite working-out with my visit to Ann Arbor. She's flexible and confident that she can do my hair exactly like the picture I showed her. The hair style I wanted was "effortless chic". I want to look put-together, but not too polished. She did exactly that. The hair looked loose, but it stayed in place the whole day after a whole night of vigorous dancing. She was very quick in doing the hair and open for suggestion. I would recommend her to anybody, especially Asian brides who want the Korean style up-dos.

Jamie Jean and her team did a fantastic job taking care of us for my wedding. It was easy to get in touch with her to set up a trial, and she made it easy to book and pay her in full (+tip) ahead of time, which took so much stress off of the actual wedding day. She is professional, works quickly, is very organized, and does great work. I felt very secure hiring her to come to our bridal suite the day of the wedding and bring her team to take care of 6 bridesmaids, the bride, and two family members! The day of, she arrived on time with a wonderful crew, stuck to the schedule, and made sure everyone was beautiful and out the door on time. I would absolutely recommend her.

Jamie is awesome! She did a great job with my hair and make-up not only once but twice! We had an after wedding photo shoot that I wanted the pictures to look like they were taken the same day as the wedding and the look she gave me was not only consistent between both days but also exactly what I had described to her! I would recommend her not only for weddings but for any big night where you want to look special.

I can not stress enough how helpful and supportive Jamie Jean Beauty was for my sister's wedding. I shopped around quite a bit looking for a skilled and affordable MUA in the Ann Arbor area who would do hair and makeup just for the bride. Jamie was really friendly and helpful and PATIENT working with me - a total wedding newbie who had no knowledge of Ann Arbor and was calling from California. She made my sister feel so special the day of her makeup trial and helped her find the perfect look for her big day. I went with my sister to Jamie Jean's studio the day of her wedding. She was so nice and the studio was so easy to get to - TONS of parking, really close by. Apart from the flawless hair and make up work, she had a really great line up of skincare and hair products, and her own line of make up that really great quality. We actually bought a couple things in case we needed to touch up anything throughout the day - no reapplication necessary. That make up went on my sister's face at 9am and was still PERFECT 12 hour's later. That make up will last her forever. That aside, Jamie is just a really sweet, friendly person who will make you feel so special on your big day. This is a person who seriously loves her craft and clearly enjoys making people feel good. TEN STARS, ALL THE THUMBS UP.

Jamie is absolutely incredible! Next to being the sweetest woman ever, she always puts your needs first. She takes your suggestions and also provides her amazing recommendations. I see Jamie every month or so for microdermabrasion and facials, but she just recently did my hair and makeup, and my maid of honor, for my wedding. I normally don't wear makeup, and Jamie made me look like a princess!! She went with neutral tones and recommended a lipstick color I would have never chosen for myself. I wear it all the time now! Jamie went with simple updo on the nape of my neck - another suggestion. I needed something low as I surprised my husband with Mr & Mrs fedoras. Jamie's hairstyle was perfect! I highly recommend Jamie for your skincare needs and any special events you have.

Jamie and her team did an incredible job. Jamie was so flexible and willing to work with me when it came to my own hair and makeup, even doing a second hair trial when the first wasn't what I thought I wanted. All of my girls looked amazing and I would definitely recommend Jamie! Bonus, she has her own makeup line, and I was able to purchase the lipstick she used directly from her for touchups.

The Jamie Jean Beauty team was so great to work with! They did hair and makeup for all 8 of us in such a short amount of time. It was awesome to see them work their magic. I have never felt more beautiful then I did on my wedding day. The pictures turned out better then I even imagined. They use their own makeup line that was perfect for my skin. It never felt heavy or cakey which I hate. So I was super happy about that. And Jamie was such a doll and a pleasure to work with from the trial to the wedding and everything in between. Jamie & her team made our wedding day absolutely perfect. Not only were they all professional and extremely talented, they were so much fun to work with. All of us looked stunning after they were done with our hair and makeup. And the "look" lasted throughout the entire 10ish hour day. After receiving the photos back from our photographer, I am so incredibly happy I found Jamie Jean Beauty for our wedding day. Jamie was amazing! From the make-up trial to the wedding day, she was professional, personable, and overall awesome at what she does. She was punctual as well and accommodating. I had a morning wedding and needed to be ready for pictures by 8 am, she was able to do my hair and makeup in a timely manner and I loved the result. She also uses her own make-up line which I thought was really cool. Would highly recommend her to anyone!

They are very talented, helpful, and knowledgeable. I even had a bridesmaid of mine tell me that out of all the wedding's she's been in and had her make up professionally done, that she loved my make up artist the best and I have Jamie and her team to thank for that! They are such a great team to trust for your big day. They arrived early on-site the morning of my wedding and ready to go. Jamie was everything I had ever hoped I would find in a makeup and hair stylist! She was genuine, fun but still professional and extremely gifted in her craft. She had a answer for every one of my concerns and of course everything went exactly like she said it would. She is wise beyond her years that's for sure. Every service I have gotten done so far from her has been perfect, my hair and makeup has always lasted all day and even into the next day. My bridal party was so pleased with her and we are picky group of ladies. She knocked my wedding day out of the park! Just from my first time getting my makeup done with her she had already taught me so much about makeup and hair than anyone else has taken the time to do so. It definitely doesn't go unnoticed or unappreciated. Not to mention her makeup line is best products I've ever used. I almost have the whole collection! I couldn't be more grateful a friend recommended her. I even switched hairstylist that I've been with for years because I loved her that much. I look forward to every appointment.

The Jamie Jean Beauty team did my hair and make up for my Bridal Shower and my Wedding Party. Jamie and her team did a phenomenal job on both occasions! Jamie and her team are very professional, talented, and knowledgeable. My biggest concern was to have everything run on time the day of my wedding as I had a very tight schedule; Jamie assured me that I didn't have anything to worry about. Jamie and her team arrived 15 minutes early and we were done 35 minutes early. That was a huge stress reliever for me knowing everything was running smoothly. Not too mention, my whole wedding party looked absolutely stunning! I highly recommend Jamie Jean Beauty- you will not be disappointed!

I dont even know where to start. Jamie and her team were so unbelievably helpful! I am so happy I decided to go with Jamie Jean Beauty. They did hair and makeup for 13 total of my girls and I with no problem at all. I couldn't believe how smooth everything went and how fast everyone was done. We were even done a half hour before Jamie said we would be. Everyone looked so beautiful! It was such a emotional day with lots of tears, the makeup lasted all night long and I didnt need to touch it up the entire time. I always receive so many compliments everytime Jamie does my makeup and hair. Shes my secret weapon. Jamie is so professional, reliable, and talented. She made everything stree free and relaxing which is really hard to do. I am so happy I found her. I recommend all my friends and family to Jamie Jean Beauty. I will definitely be a lifetime client!
