The Jewelry Appraiser in Manhasset is knowledge beyond anything I expected. I sat alongside Deborah for an hour while she checked out my two rings. I learned so much and couldn’t have been happier with outcome and write up for insurance. I highly recommend!

I met with Deborah to get a ring appraised. She was bluntly honest, to the point and extremely knowledgeable. She explained every detail surrounding the diamonds, the good, the bad and everything in between. I’ve been to many appraisers over the years but this was a totally different and better experience. I felt like she actually cared vs me just being another number. Her industry knowledge blew me away and it felt really good for once to get honesty out of someone. I recently went to Deborah to have my engagement ring appraised and was more than happy! Aside from having well known jewelers recommend her, having the word of mouth recommendations from friends was very reasurring; especially for never having had jewelry appraised before. Having been referred and recommended to Deborah, I was hoping I would be in good hands, but boy was I blown away. When it came time for me to shop for a wedding set for my wife and I, I knew very little about what to look and where to purchase it. After a month of reading and research I made the purchase. I then insured the wedding bands and the engagement ring. A few years down the road, the insurance company told me I needed to have the jewelry appraised. Again, I knew very little about this process nor where to go for the appraisal. So, I decided to do some research. After asking a few people and doing my own research I searched online for an Appraiser. The Jewelry Appraiser was recommended to me and I am so happy that I decided to make an appointment with Deborah to have our jewelry appraised. Deborah is such a professional, highly skilled and is also very knowledgeable. She made me feel very comfortable from the moment I entered her office. Her Lab and equipment are top notch. Everything is done right in front of you as you sit, watch and listen to the expert review that Deborah provides. During the appraisal process, Deborah explains every step in detail with terms that we all can comprehend. Her attention to detail and knowledge are on full display as she handled my jewelry with the upmost care and professionalism. I watched and listened in amazement. Deborah's skill and expertise were on full display. She made me feel so comfortable. After each piece was appraised, researched, weighed, and photographed, Deborah was also able to tell me exactly how much each piece was worth in today's market. This is very important as it allows me to now insure my jewelry for the correct amount and now I also have expert documentation to assist with an insurance claim in the event of loss or theft. I was very happy to know that the jewelry that I purchased a few years ago has now increased in value by several thousand dollars. Deborah complimented me on the jewelry I purchased and also commented on how well a job the jeweler had performed in matching the diamonds, the placement of the stones and the overall quality of the rings. It was great hearing that I had made good choices and I also felt comfortable and confident in her appraisal. I now have a better understanding of my jewelry. At the end, Deborah told me that I would receive an email within a few days with the appraisal report attached. Sure enough, I received the report in 2 days. Boy was I shocked when I saw how detailed and professional the report is; 24 pages! Deborah, thank you for everything. I went to Deborah with a Salt and pepper diamond engagement ring. To be honest, I was nervous going in because it was the first time receiving an appraisal. Also, due to it being an engagement, it just made me that much more nervous. AHHMAZZZINGGG!! Let me first start by saying I have no clue when It comes to cuts, clarity, diamonds in general, sooo when my fiancé and I went in Deborah explained EVERYTHING, and showed me everything. When we went the first thing that she showed me was how to clean my ring I was shocked as to how SHINY my ring got and then I learned that a cleaning does make a difference. I wasn't really happy with the design of my ring, and Deborah took it upon herself to make me happy with my ring, and it worked. She worked on it, and through the whole process she communicated with me every change, if I liked it, and if there should be any other additional change. The end result is just WOW.
