Most ministers are not familiar with the Greek Orthodox wedding traditions, but Andrew was very accommodating and did the necessary research to get it right. He had highlighted the commonalities between the Jewish and Greek cultures so well and both sides of the family felt equally represented. The sermon he wrote for us struck a great balance between solemnity and levity, just as we requested. The best part is, he writes your sermon from scratch based on you and your partner's responses to basic questions, your love story, the level of religiousness/humor/seriousness you want to incorporate. He shares the sermon with you a month before the ceremony, allowing for ample time to make edits, if needed. It's also nice to know what is going to be said in the sermon before the actual ceremony, taking away another possible source of anxiety before the big day. Every guest that I spoke with during or after my wedding could not stop raving about the ceremony. Having a minister that you know will invest the time and effort to make your ceremony just how you want it really takes the stress off of this already difficult process. Book him and you'll be in great hands!
