We had the absolute pleasure of working with Mallory Asplund at The Journey, during our daughter's journey to the altar. It was a joy from beginning to end! From our first meeting with her, we knew we were in very capable, caring and fun hands. Mallory took the time to really listen and understand what our daughter's vision was for her wedding day and then helped make that vision a reality. Every one of our meetings started and ended with Mallory sitting down with us and asking how we were feeling, what was on our minds and if we had any questions or worries. She had an organized plan where we checked off what was already done, looked at what needed to be addressed next and then what we should be thinking about down the line. We always felt organized and quite honestly ahead of the game! Mallory's positive energy came through in every meeting, call, email and text, which she always responded to in a very timely manner. From the start of the day at the church to last call at The Rivulet, we are so grateful for all that Mallory did to help the wedding day run so smoothly. Knowing that she was in communication with all of our vendors, both leading up to as well as day of the wedding meant that we could be fully present and truly enjoy our daughter's wedding day, which we absolutely did! Thank you Mallory!

ift a finger for setup or tear down yet everything was exactly as we envisioned it. Planning with the wedding Mandi was fun, and she helped us feel organized and confident as we prepared for the big day. The close connections Mandi had with the staff at The Ivy House and our other vendors was so helpful and made everything go so smoothly. Would definitely recommend using the Journey for your wedding planner!

rrently live in California, so they made the whole process of planning a wedding across the country seem like a breeze!! Mandi was a joy to work with! She is so calm, and excited about all of our ideas and plans! She made our dreams happen and I even if I felt stressed or slightly overwhelmed, she didn’t, and it made me feel so good knowing she wasn’t phased by anything!! The wedding day was beyond perfect!! Everyone was so kind and communicated so well with us! If there were any hiccups, I didn’t even know they happened! Truly everyone is amazing to work with and I cannot recommend them enough!! My husband and I wanted everyone at our wedding to have fun, and I truly mean it when I say I am still getting texts weeks later about how much fun people had at our wedding, and that wouldn’t have been possible without Mandi and The Journey!! I can’t recommend them enough!! Use them to plan your wedding!! They’re the best!!!

Since we all live on the east coast this added extra stress and anxiety. Mallory and Mandi’s calming presence and availability to answer any and all of our questions was greatly appreciated. umped right into helping us figure out logistics and giving us tips for our wedding even over a year out, and was always super responsive and helpful! We had no idea what we were getting into and she helped the entire planning process go seamlessly including giving us a schedule to track key items and really helping with invitations and RSVPs. Mandi was an absolute pleasure to work with and we felt comfortable going to her for anything. We 100% trusted her throughout the entire process. We truly consider Mandi a friend by this point and would not have had such an incredible wedding day without her. A big goal was to ensure our friends and family could focus on celebrating the day of the wedding in lieu of logistics and they were able to do exactly that! Her calm demeanor and organizational skills leading up to the wedding was exactly what we needed and helped our day go quite literally perfectly. Mallory helping out day-of was also great with them both having everything where it needed to be and supporting us along the way. We cannot recommend working with the Journey enough!

did for all of us. They made us feel like VIPs from the time we stepped into the Ivy House (even before our contract!) to the very end of the wedding. Their personal touch, creative planning, genuine care for everyone, attention to detail, flexibility, patience and excellent communication helped make our daughter's wedding everything she could have hoped for. The entire planning process with them was super smooth- great communication, expert ideas and overall, I felt super comfortable approaching the actual 'Big Day'.
