Dan and Ish at The Juniper Collective far surpassed any and every expectation we had. They made the entire booking and planning process fun and stress-free from start to finish! Costs and options were all very transparent. In our second consultation, we made a schedule for the wedding day so that we all knew what to expect and what the priorities were for pictures. On the day of, Dan and Ish arrived very early to scope out the venue and even took the time to introduce themselves to the guests. All of our guests loved them and they made everyone feel comfortable. Many guests made a point to mention to us after the wedding how sweet they were. Dan and Ish were extremely efficient and went above and beyond to make the best use of their time. For example, while we had our hair and makeup done, they collected our attire and accessories from us to take pictures of. After getting dressed, they even offered to drive us to the second location we were taking pictures at. As a queer couple, it was very important to us that our photographers were not only accepting but supportive of the queer community. Dan and Ish made us feel so comfortable being intimate while being photographed and put our nerves at ease. We felt nothing but love, support and joy from the both of them. We received sneek peeks within only a week after our wedding and were already so over the moon! About a month later we received access to our full gallery. Every single picture is so gorgeous and breathtaking. Dan and Ish captured our special day even better than we remembered it. Every moment, all of the decor, and every guest was captured perfectly. We will treasure these photos forever and could not be happier with them. We have been told by friends that they look like they belong in a magazine! We would most definitely recommend The Juniper Collective to anyone any everyone. Booking a photographer for your wedding is a huge decision and you will definitely not be disappointed if you book them.

As an overall statement, Daniel and Ismael are a pleasure to work with and really know how to make couples feel comfortable and dissipate any awkwardness during their shoots. My husband and I booked them for our engagement shoot, website photos, and our wedding. For the engagement shoot, my husband coordinated with them to turn our couples photo shoot into an engagement photo shoot, much to my surprise! We shot at the Washington Park Arboretum on a cold, December day and the pictures were stunning. Our website photos were taken at Deception Pass. The weather was warmer and this session was a bit longer but I couldn’t believe how quickly the time went by! Daniel and Ismael made it so easy and made it feel like it was more of a hang out session with a couple of friends. All this to say, The Juniper Collective is extremely flexible and versatile when it comes to shooting at different types of locations at various times and seasons of the year. No matter when or where, expect that your pictures will turn out amazing. For our wedding day, Daniel and Ismael showed up to the respective bride and groom locations bright and early to capture our wedding prep moments. We had a backyard wedding and there was a lot of traveling between sites (i.e., bridal/groom prep, wedding party pictures, wedding ceremony and reception). With all the nervous excitement I was feeling on my wedding day, they made me feel so at ease while also making sure to keep to the schedule for the day. On top of being extremely professional and punctual, they were also very intuitive when it came to my husband and I needing a quick and quiet moment to ourselves. Daniel and Ismael captured great shots of our ceremony, the dancing, and now-cherished memories with our family and friends. The pictures turned out beautifully and were delivered in such a timely manner. We loved that they sent us a few quick pics the next day so we could post to our socials. Overall, we had a great experience with The Juniper Collective. Both of our families loved them and we can’t wait to book them for all of our future milestone shoots!
