For more than twenty years, the music of The Kende Trio has added elegance to weddings and events throughout the Metropolitan area. Established by sisters Alexis (violin), Crista (viola + piano), and Daniela (cello), the trio has appeared on WABC-TV News and the NBC-TV “Today Show”, with feature articles in The New York Times and Distinction Magazine. Nearly a decade ago, The Kende Trio expanded to include a larger network of post-Juilliard musicians who specialize in jazz and contemporary, as well as classical styles. The Kende Trio also features vocalists and instrumentalists who play harp, trumpet, flute, bass, and piano.

e the ceremony (while I was getting ready - I could hear the music floating up to my room), and then on into the cocktail hour. In 50 degree weather! Alexis was so easy to deal with during my pre-wedding jitters and knew all the music I had in mind (my husband and I did what was likely a very awkward waltz for our first dance). I'm very grateful for their presence at my wedding. I hope the business thrives in the coming years.

wanted them to be a part of our wedding this October for our ceremony and cocktail hour and they met the mark of being equally as beautiful on our wedding day as they were at the bridal show. On the day of, the music was absolutely beautiful! The trio played while guests filed into the church and throughout the entire mass. Everything was perfect, the music, the transition from the ceremony in The Terrace Room to the cocktail hour to the reception in the Grand Ballroom were magical. I never noticed anything!! Also, the musicians are all so lovely!!!! I can't wait to view the video so I can listen to the music again.
