For more than twenty years, the music of The Kende Trio has added elegance to weddings and events throughout the Metropolitan area. Established by sisters Alexis (violin), Crista (viola + piano), and Daniela (cello), the trio has appeared on WABC-TV News and the NBC-TV “Today Show”, with feature articles in The New York Times and Distinction Magazine. Nearly a decade ago, The Kende Trio expanded to include a larger network of post-Juilliard musicians who specialize in jazz and contemporary, as well as classical styles. The Kende Trio also features vocalists and instrumentalists who play harp, trumpet, flute, bass, and piano. These musicians are so talented and professional. I booked them for my wedding Memorial Day weekend (I know - this is so late in coming!) and they played about a half an hour before the ceremony (while I was getting ready - I could hear the mus...

Alexis was so easy to deal with during my pre-wedding jitters and knew all the music I had in mind (my husband and I did what was likely a very awkward waltz for our first dance). I'm very grateful for their presence at my wedding. I hope the business thrives in the coming years.
