The Kittle House Inn

. The Kittle House was the perfect venue. Not only did it fit the vibe I was going for but the food was excellent, the rooms have this gorgeous vintage vibe and the staff was incredible. Kimberly helped me every step of the way and made everything super easy and offered great suggestions making everything feel personalized. She was also super responsive which helped with the stress. The moment I met her I knew that I was in good hands. Leo also did an incredible job running the show day of and making sure everyone was taken care of. They really go above and beyond to make you feel like it’s your home away from home. I especially loved having all my family who flew in stay with me at the Kittle House. It really made everything feel special and now I can’t wait to go back to celebrate future anniversaries .

Let me start by saying that the property alone is just gorgeous and the exact experience we were going for and we were able to decorate a little bit in our style, but if we had not decorated at all it would’ve been a lovely place to get married, just bare bones was gorgeous. The actual wedding was everything we imagined all the staff and one most notably, Leo, treated me like a queen and my husband like a king. I felt that the money we paid was very reasonable for the service quality and experience we received. I am looking forward to using them again for another event. Because of weather we had to make a game time decision and change the location of ceremony and cocktail hour but the staff made it all so seamless and stress free. At our wedding the staff was so attentive to us and our guests- everyone was commenting on how beautiful the venue was, how amazing the food was (it was incredible!) and how it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to. Can't recommend Crabtree highly enough- we are so happy we went with them! We look forward to going back to this special place for dinners and our anniversary!

than a hotel ballroom, but still big enough that guests could spread out. The Kittle House checked all of those boxes and the garden being in full summer bloom was just icing on the cake. Additionally, we were planning from far away and so having the restaurant taking care of food meant one less thing we had to separately coordinate. Kimberly was extremely responsive to all of our email inquiries and was full of ideas and thoughts to help us create the perfect day. One other great thing about the venue is that they have a great indoor backup plan if the weather didn't cooperate for the day (and that the Kittle House could even switch everything indoors up to 2.5 hours before the beginning of the ceremony). Throughout the whole process Kimberly, the maitre d' Leo, and the staff were always there to help us, make suggestions, and fulfill our vision for the day. The food was incredible (many, many guests remarked on how much they loved the food, including our vegetarian guests!) and they were always one step ahead with the planning. We brought in photos and some decorations for the cocktail hour and Kimberly and her staff took care of arranging them so we didn’t have to even think about it on the day of. They seamlessly interfaced with the florist and bakery, so much so that we weren’t even sure whether our cake had arrived since we hadn’t had to get involved and instead could just focus on enjoying the day. Having a complementary inn room was also a really nice perk because it provided the perfect space for hair and makeup earlier in the day, and we didn’t have to venture far after a late night–we even got treated to some end of the night champagne and food in our room, which was such a lovely touch. We could not have asked for a more seamless and thoughtfully executed day and would 100% select them again if we were choosing a venue again.

She is always quick to respond and really made the whole planning process painless. Kim was there during the entire wedding and made sure everything was setup beautifully. All of the food was absolutely delicious. We have gotten numerous compliments from our guests who really enjoyed the wedding and their stay overnight at the Kittle house inn. There are also so many beautiful areas - outside and in - for pictures. Overall, our wedding night was absolutely perfect and I highly recommend this venue.

They both helped ensure everything flowed smoothly, helping us to avoid any last minute hiccups, wrangling our families, guests, and wedding party, and surprised us with food (a rarity for new couples) right after the ceremony and throughout the cocktail hour. We felt fully taken care of throughout the entire process, from our first visit to our wedding day itself. We can’t say enough good things about the Kittle House, the food, waitstaff, and location. We highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to incorporate a rustic and private ambiance into their wedding experience!

d since my first email she has been so enthusiastic, professional, resourceful and kind. I legitimately would not have been able to do it without her. We planned the wedding in just over two months and Kim was there every step of the way making sure no detail was forgotten. She made everything so easy and seamless. Including on my wedding day when I forgot to have someone pick up the cake. I came into the reception and it was sitting there. She had realized on her own and took care of it without me even knowing! When it came time for the wedding, each person on the staff made me and all of my guests feel like royalty. They are so kind and bent over backwards to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves. The service is extraordinary. The venue itself is also beautiful and what drew us in in the first place. Build in the early 1700's, it has such a cozy, rustic but chic vibe. The owners have maintained it beautifully and it offers the best of old and new. There are so many nooks that are so interesting. They have the beautiful gardens, the glass ballroom, the private dinning room, the cozy bar with a big stone fireplace and the wine cellar. The best part was we were all able to stay the night in their guest rooms and wake up overlooking the snow covered hills. Finally, the food there is incredible. Most times you go to a wedding and the good is just meh, every single person at our wedding could not get over how great the food was. The chef is brilliant and super responsive to the menu you would like to create for your wedding. Anyone of these things, the food, venue space, staff, Kim would be enough to make me book my wedding there all over again but it really does have the best of it all. I can't wait to plan our next party there!

Every bride needs a Kimberly! We are so thankful for the manager, Leo, who made the events of the night run so smoothly. He was by our side the whole reception and thought of EVERYTHING. At the end of the evening, he even arranged extra plates of food and dessert for my husband and I as we went up to our room for the night. We felt so very well taken care of and received glowing comments from all our family and friends. We are so happy that we chose Crabtree’s Kittle House to celebrate our wedding!

so many venues, and every place felt like we were going to be just another couple in their wedding machine. Crabtree's treats you like they're honored to be part of your day. When he first visited Crabtree's, we enjoyed a delicious and lovely lunch while Kimberly and Leo brought us wedding books to look through. We said we didn't want dessert, so Kimberly brought over the desserts they would serve at the wedding anyway, just so we could taste. She spent HOURS with us. She went over every detail, answered every question, and had immediate solutions to every problem we brought up (like that my Grandma is in a wheel chair and might get tired during the reception. Kimberly suggested she give us a handicap room, among other things). My mom and I consistently called and emailed Kimberly throughout the year while we planned, and we visited the venue a few extra times. No matter what he needed or how much time we needed, she was there. I felt like I had a personal wedding planner! The wedding day itself was wonderful. It was seamless and beautiful. The gorgeous and elegant yet laid-back environment of Crabtree's fostered an environment where guests felt free to mingle, walk around, and enjoy themselves however they'd like. SO many of our guests said it was the most fun they had ever had at a wedding. People became close friends who had barely known each other beforehand. People danced the whole time. The fire pit outside welcomed guests outside if they didn't want to dance. It was just perfect. And while my husband and I were busy talking with all the guests, Leo made sure the food at our table was hot. He'd replace items and freshen out drinks to make sure there was nothing we needed. The food here is AMAZING. So delicious. The pasta genovese was probably my favorite, but the salmon and chicken were also so freaking good. On top of that, my maid of honor is vegan, and Kimberly and Leo made sure she had a delicious meal she enjoyed. Kimberly and Leo are amazing. They made a stressful process easy and beautiful. I'm so thankful to them.

n and future daughter in law knew this was where they had to have their wedding. The gorgeous grounds, the set up for a wedding, and their meeting with Kimberly all sold the Kittle House equally. They never once regretted this decision! Kimberly helped them each step of the way, was always responsive, took care of all details before, and during, and after the event, and handled problems creatively and cheerfully, so that the entire event went seamlessly. We stayed at the Inn, with its lovely, spacious and comfortable rooms. The couple was given 2 rooms to get ready, with the bridesmaids getting ready in the bridal suite, while the groomsmen and women hung out in the wine cellar. Lunch was delivered to both rooms and staff was on hand to attend to any of our needs. Innkeeper Barbara was especially helpful, aiding with every aspect of our stay, answering our innumerable questions and solving problems immediately (including dealing with blown fuses during hair styling). Maitre D’ Leo, who wore many hats, was equally wonderful, keeping all the events going smoothly and making sure everything and everyone was taken care, even helping to move a TV to plug in a cable for a slideshow. The Inn staff, catering, and bartending staff were conscientious, available, professional, and friendly. The wedding ceremony and cocktail hour were outside on the beautiful lawn in front of a stunning view. The ceremony by Rabbi Linda Goldberg was perfect. Reception was indoors in an equally beautiful room with all glass walls to the outside, so affording that same lush view. And the food! No one could stop talking about how delicious the food all was! And the sundae bar out by the fire pit outside was the perfect dessert ending to the meal! “Around Town” provided amazing music and Ziara(contact person for the band that night and lead singer) was fantastic, as was Bill, who, on crutches, helped make sure my wedding march could be heard and was wonderful about making sure a songs performed by myself and my daughter could be heard well. Adam was very responsive in the days leading up to the event. We also had a "newlywed" breakfast the following morning in another sun filled beautiful room at Crabtree’s Kittle House, with the same exemplary service and yummy food. We could not have been happier with our experience at Crabtree's Kittle House.

I got married Memorial Day weekend of this year in the downstairs atrium with around 150 guests and the Kittle House could not have done a better job. We loved every moment of the entire day. They had incredible attention to every detail that went into it, the service was impeccable throughout the process and the entire staff's true generosity to making this day so special for us were just some of the reasons we had such a wonderful experience planning our wedding here! They were even flexible when making last minute changes due to the weather literally 20 minutes before the ceremony. To top it all off- the food and wine were remarkable and Kimberly Ann, Leo, and Michael made sure my husband and I had some!!! We cannot say enough thank yous!!!

Tiffany and staff really made the days leading up to the night stress-free as they assisted with all aspects of set-up and coordination with all of our outside vendors, including photography, band and flowers. On the day of, the Staff met all of our expectations and the night was absolutely perfect. Our guests were raving about the grounds, the food and our ability to have our perfect indoor/outdoor wedding. We are excited to return to the Kittle House in the years to come for our future celebrations and recommend the venue to all considering it for their wedding day.

My husband and I always felt like our perspective mattered, and did I mention the food and wine are outrageously good? We actually opted not to have a cake because the dessert selection was so delicious (FYI, the Kittle Kat Torte makes a great substitution if you want to have a cake-cutting moment). My groom and I were very interested in using local produce, proteins, and beers, and chef Jay and the restaurant management were not only accommodating, but eager to work on the menu with us. Kimberly had an answer for every question, and recommendations for every other vendor, from makeup to music to photography to even babysitting. They worked with our schedule, our room needs, and worked tirelessly to make every guest feel full, happy, and danced out by the end of the evening (including us). And the best part? My husband and I get to go back every year to celebrate our anniversary!

The venue felt very special from the start, historic inn gives it relaxed, but stylish look, different from a regular catering hall. We especially enjoyed the garden, lush greenery and perfect views for outdoor ceremony setup. We were going for classy, yet laid-back, garden party ambience, with a killer after party, and all our wishes came true because of amazing support and accommodations of Kittle House staff, in particular our coordinator Kimberly Ann. Since it was a destination wedding for us, we planned almost everything by email, and Kimberly was always there for us, very creative, attentive and responsive. We only visited the venue a few times before the wedding, but each was a great treat, we felt truly welcome. On site restaurant is great and worth a separate visit. Kimberly was extremely thoughtful and creative in incorporating traditions from our cultures and accommodating the needs of the international guests. Kittle House is very open to adding any spice to your event: we had outside vendor Chinese desserts delivered, a s’mores roast, a late night campfire party and even our own hookah for the afterparty. The venue felt truly the best of both worlds, with comfort of all-inclusive venue (gorgeous in-house linens, flowers and decor, and awesome food + planning expertise) and creativity and flexibility of bespoke event planning. Inn rooms were a great plus, everyone definitely appreciated the opportunity to prepare in large stylish rooms (we even did family photos inside), and going straight to bed at the end of a long night. The wedding day was a breeze with coordination and support of our planner, maitre’d and event coordinator. We really didn’t need to hire a wedding planner since Kittle House team did the job perfectly. The food, from entrees to desserts, was amazing, and the day was so stress-free that even us (bride and groom) managed to get to try everything! Venue took great care of vendors, guests, and the newlyweds themselves, making sure we were fed, hydrated, and knew what’s going on. The end of the party was great too -- Kittle House staff collected all our belongings from the reception area during the afterparty in the Inn Bar, and brought those to our room, packing next morning was so easy. We are so excited to refer the venue to our friends, and will be coming back to the restaurant when traveling in Upstate NY.

During the big day Leo was our main man, planning the entire day and having everything run smoothly. He always made sure my husband and I had our glasses full, had something to eat, and made sure we were satisfied. When we were making our rounds going to each table thanking everyone, we returned to our table to find a full set up of champagne and food already served to us, this was perfect because we ate while everyone was up getting their food (buffet)- this also went smoothly.. not a cluster of people racing for the buffet. Before the wedding, when everyone was getting ready in our rooms, they served us mimosas and munchies (chicken wraps, fruit platter, salad, etc.). This was just enough so everyone had something in their stomach before cocktail hour- which was also a hit. So many varieties of food, it was amazing. Everyone raved about how amazing the food was. I could go on and on about how perfect everything was the day of our wedding. I would give the Kittle House a 10 star rating if I could!!! My husband and I wish we could re-live the whole experience :)
