We hired Nina on June 6th 2017 to be the officiant for our wedding. She took the time to talk to us to get to know our situation. Unfortunately that was the last time that we ever saw her. Planning a wedding is a majorly stressful event and not being in regular contact with your officiant when details need to be updated does not help. Every time we tried to reach out to Nina via email, text, wedding wire messaging or phone call we could never get a reply for months. Texts were ignored, voicemails went unanswered (always went straight to vmail) and emails were never replied to. Fast forward to the week before our wedding and once again we were never able to contact her. The contract we signed stated that if the officiant was unable to make it to the wedding for any reason that they would supply us with a replacement within a reasonable amount of time. We were getting the feeling we were being scammed but wanted to give the benefit of the doubt until that last week. Nina never showed up to our wedding (the address we provided never changed) but fortunately we hired another officiant in time and at the last moment. We will be taking action to report this as fraud. Do not recommend as all we did was have our money taken in exchange for nothing. If a rating of zero were possible that would be preferred.

Nina keeps deleting this review! Update: they NEVER filed our marriage license!! lease do yourself a favor and find a different officiant for your wedding. I promise, it is not worth the stress you will experience. That should be enough of a warning, but if you would like details of my experience, read on. My husband and I met with Nina and explained that we were having a non-traditional, 20 guest ceremony. We just needed her to send us sample formats for review. The next day I received an invoice through their wedding services program for $150. I immediately paid it, thinking it was a bit high given her starting price listed on wedding wire was $50. Over the next weeks, I received many texts from her assistant for ideas for seating arrangements, songs, and budgeting tips, but they never sent sample ceremony outlines as we had repeatedly requested. The day after I received the $150 invoice, I received a $100 invoice stating "please disregard all previous invoices. This is the correct invoice!" I thought woohoo, a refund! I texted the assistant to clarify & he did not get back to me until THE DAY BEFORE THE WEDDING to say that this $100 was in ADDITION to the $150. After debating how ludicrous that was that I never received a contract & why it wasn't a $250 total at the beginning, I feared they would sabotage my ceremony if I didn't pay. I said I'd pay but he said he'd talk to me the next day about it. Thank goodness we have a sense of humor because Nina's service would've infuriated a more sensitive bride. 1-10, her public speaking was a 2. She pronounced our names wrong. Nina herself said to my best friend, "I did bad didn't I?" The next day we began getting notices saying without payment they would not file our marriage license. I thought, a surprise bill the day before your wedding? And withholding our license?? That feels like extortion! My husband won't let me take them to court though so I paid it. The entire experience was a complete mess. Please, do yourself a favor and find someone trustworthy & professional.
