The Lake Estate on Winnisquam

Planning a wedding, there are a million decisions to be made. The absolute best one I made was choosing this venue, and with it, this team. The resort is spectacular in its detail and combination of intimacy and grandeur. The deck ceremony spot felt like we were getting married on the water, and the tent kept everyone warm in October. The food is still being talked about. Getting ready in a salon was also so calming. That being said, it was the people that made this day incredible. Guen, Grace, Jess and their team kept everything running smoothly - and we had a big wedding! - and I didn't have to think of anything besides enjoying the day. Above and beyond, kind and helpful, we walked into the ceremony and ballroom to everything flawless. They really know how to create those magic moments - opening the ballroom door for us to walk in, stealing us away for one on one time during cocktail hour to eat, setting up for a string quartet AND a seven piece band. It was all amazing. If you're hesitant because this is a new venue, don't be. It is fully ready to host the most spectacular wedding. Thank you! With love and gratitude. The Lake Estate is the most amazing place to have your wedding. Do not miss seeing this venue. From the incredible staff and service to the most delicious food this place has it all. The venue is right on the Lake and has breathtaking views from almost every guest room and from the event spaces. It is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. Everything is top quality and done with care. We were only the second wedding since the venue had just opened. I had 192 guests. The timing of the day was handled incredibly by the onsite coordinator Guen. She was a complete professional and made sure all went smoothly and according to the plan. Ed and his wife Patty are the managers and treated us like royalty all weekend. They were so accommodating and really cared about the wedding. Chis is the chef and all the food was fresh, delicious, and cooked to perfection. The staff efficiently served all the guests in a timely manner. They served each table presidential style. It was quite the show! The wine service at dinner was a great touch and the ballroom is so beautiful and has views of the lake and mountains. There is no other place like this anywhere. The amenities at the estate are like no other. Our guests played pickleball, went into the infinity pool, the two hot tubs and went to the beach. We had some guests enjoy the beautiful spa and get massages or facials. Some took walks along the paths on property. While others played golf across the street or went shopping at the nearby outlets We had our rehearsal dinner, our welcome party and the ceremony and reception all on site. Our guests loved it. Everything was perfect. Every one of my guests commented on the exceptional beauty of the estate and the surroundings. You must check out this beautiful venue. I think there is no better place to say I DO. It is truly amazing in every way.
