There are no words to describe how grateful we are to The Lake House, their staff and specifically JoJo. Our wedding day was perfect to say the least, and we truly have this beautiful place and all of these wonderful people to thank. We were not sure we wanted to do a big traditional wedding, but after touring the lake house venue and meeting the staff we fell in love wiht the idea of getting married here and lets just say the day of surpassed any expectation. The food and hospitality was outstanding. The grounds are beautiful. It truly felt like magic. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy wedding venue with all the high end amenities!

Our daughter and son-in-law's Wedding Weekend at The Lake House in October 2023 was magical. The staff at The Lake House was truly exceptional! They worked with us throughout the entire process in a warm, kind, caring and professional manner. Lori, the Banquet Manager, was our "North Star", coordinating the entire weekend beautifully. Our guests frequently may a point of sharing with us how amazed they were at how friendly and warm The Lake House staff was to them. The food at the Bridal Luncheon, Welcome Party, Cocktail Hour, Wedding Reception, and Farewell Brunch was outstanding - some of the best (maybe the very best?) I've ever had at a Wedding Weekend. They were willing to go "above and beyond" for us - bringing our granddaughter a lavender birthday cake to mark her 4th birthday, bringing the Groom a hamburger when he was hungry after lots of visiting with guests, bringing the Father of the Bride his special drink after his speech.... And the setting of The Lake House is spectacular! We were so very happy with our experience of hosting our daughter and son-in-law's wedding there. It was a magical moment in our lives that we'll never forget!

This stunning venue also features five large wooden beams that provide ample opportunities for decor, drapes, greenery, and flora to be hung. been developed; I really believe the Sands and their team have built an unrivaled and unique representation of the Finger Lakes beauty with this wedding venue and hotel. Chris (GM) and Lori (Catering Director) were phenomenal throughout our wedding planning process and incredibly accommodating whenever we visited, including for engagement photos. We had what can only be described as a dream wedding - it really was the most amazing experience of our lives. I regularly recommend the Lakehouse to family and friends that are visiting the area and would say "do it!" to anyone considering getting married here.

We reserved a suite to get ready in prior to the wedding upon leaving for the ceremony the staff cleaned the room and even left congratulations card, chocolate and champagne, which was extremely thoughtful. The size of the room and view from the balcony was stunning. Would highly recommend!

highly recommend getting married here. For starters, from our very first meeting in June 2013 to our wedding in October 2014, Lori was WONDERFUL. She was always prompt with answering my questions (there were many) and she completely got my vision for our wedding from Day One. Lori was a true pleasure to work with, and by the date of the wedding it felt like I was working with a close friend. :) In addition, the rest of the staff at Inn on the Lake were nothing short of lovely. From check in, to hospitality, to the rest of the event staff, everyone was so nice, so accommodating, and just great people. Again, if you're looking for a stunning lakeside venue in the Finger Lakes, Inn on the Lake and Lori are your ticket to your very own "Best Day Ever!!" :)

with hors d’oeuvres and the reception indoors in the ballroom. They also have a tent available for outdoor receptions. The staff was excellent, and Sarah, our wedding coordinately was terrific throughout the whole planning process. The day of, they catered to our every need and were very organized. We couldn't be happier! We did extras (photo booth, cookies and milk, pizza, etc.) and they were very accommodating with these requests. I would definitely recommend the Inn on the Lake!
