Ready with recommendations and flexible schedules, Alison always took detailed notes and tracked our ever evolving details. The whole process was easy, even the week before (as all brides) I had a million details and questions flowing through my mind, but Alison and the team quickly answered them, offered solutions, and recorded all the details. It turned out absolutely beautiful! We held both our ceremony and reception in the beautiful tented patio. The venue was wonderfully kept and beautiful, from the grounds to the club house and elegant tent. your guests are dressed accordingly depending on the time of the year the wedding is. The dance area was a good size, but the separate dance floor that was added on top of the floor may not be needed (was a little slippery at times). The bartenders were very attentive (generous pours on drinks) and the club sets up all your decorations which saved us a lot of time. The entire staff was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate everyone. The staff was very polite and just made the experience that much greater throughout the evening. This was a night we will always remember forever.

We were fortunate that the weather was comfortable and accommodating on that Friday, and the staff took care of the rest! Alison was incredibly easy to work with. She was very responsive and willing to answer any questions or concerns that we had. She met with us before the event and asked questions to make sure that our wedding and reception went off without a hitch. She adjusted certain things to meet our needs and fulfil our wishes as well. She planned everything in finite detail and is clearly experienced in that regard! The staff did an incredible job as well, staying on top of everything and making sure that the food was served in a timely fashion. The food was delicious and our friends and family seemed to agree with that sentiment. The event finished at 11, but the staff didn’t rush us out the door, allowing our guests to gather their belongings and any keepsakes that they wanted without feeling rushed. All-in-all, we couldn’t be happier with how our wedding and reception went and we’re extremely grateful and thankful that we chose The Lakes!

. On our way there I had no idea how we were going to decide, but once we stepped into the semi-permanent tent we knew the Lakes was the one. My finance said it felt special. The tent offered the outdoor wedding I always wanted without having to lose sleep worrying about rain. Many guests commented on what a beautiful venue it was. Our photos captured the beauty of the tent and the grounds. Just as importantly, the wedding and reception went off without a hitch thanks to Alison and her top-notch staff who did an amazing job. Alison was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions promptly and thoroughly. I’ll also never forget how helpful the banquet captain was when I couldn’t get my ring off right before walking the aisle. We were both wearing our rings from the pre-ceremony photos, and I remembered a little too late that we needed to take them off. I was having trouble removing my ring when the banquet captain immediately produced a glass of cold water and told me to place my hand in it. The cold water did the trick, and I slid my ring off immediately. The banquet captain definitely wasn’t at her first rodeo. She knew exactly what would work to remove the ring. I can’t say enough good things about The Lakes!

Dinner was so tasty. The chef and culinary team at The Lakes are supremely talented. I've never been to a wedding where more guests raved over how good the food was. Tammy also deserves a shout out here; she made all the setup happen and orchestrated the wonderful plated dinner we had. Throughout the evening, she handled all of the behind the scenes logistics with the dance floor, bar, and seating arrangements and did it splendidly.
