The entire exterior of the building was freshly cleaned for our wedding, which immediately showed how much pride and intention the team puts into their events. The outdoor patio is what first captured my heart — the lake shimmering behind it, the peaceful setting, the fire pit, and the open space that allowed us to create something deeply personal. We were able to set up a floral gazebo right outside by the water and exchange our vows there, surrounded by nature, family, and history. That lake holds generations of meaning for my family. We grew up around it — summers, memories, roots — and being married there symbolized unity, legacy, and coming full circle. It wasn’t just a venue; it was a continuation of family and togetherness. The wedding planner, Cat, deserves more praise than words can express. She is truly a million people in one. Cat seamlessly coordinated everything — the violinist, harpist, DJ, food, décor, timing — and somehow made it all feel effortless. She walked me through every step, literally and emotionally, holding my hand through decisions and ensuring I never had to worry about a single detail. She was on top of everyone and everything, and because of her, I was able to be fully present on the most important day of my life. And the food — wow. The food was the secret gem of the night. I consider myself a serious bruschetta fanatic, and I wasn’t sure if it would be something memorable… but I think about it daily since the wedding. It was hands down the best bruschetta spread I have ever had in my entire life. Multiple varieties, incredible flavor, beautifully presented — absolutely unforgettable. The rest of the menu was just as exquisite. While I barely had time to eat due to the whirlwind of the day, my guests still rave about the food months later. The décor transformed the space into something magical. The room flowed perfectly with color, warmth, and intention. Not a single detail was overlooked. It held our family beautifully and created memories that will last forever. If you are looking for a venue that blends natural beauty, exceptional food, heartfelt service, and deep emotional meaning — especially if lakes and legacy matter to you — the Lakeside Inn is truly special. We are endlessly grateful for the experience, the memories, and the love that filled that space on our wedding day.
