Our rehearsal dinner could not have been more magical, and that’s entirely thanks to this incredible venue. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm smiles and an atmosphere that struck the perfect balance between elegance and comfort. The décor was breathtaking— even looking the history and charm of the romantic French Quarter of days gone by—and created the ideal backdrop for photos and heartfelt toasts.
The staff went above and beyond to make every detail seamless. They were attentive without ever feeling intrusive, and their timing was impeccable. The food was another standout: beautifully presented, delicious, and thoughtfully tailored to our group’s preferences. Guests are still talking about the appetizers!
What impressed us most was how effortlessly the venue handled the flow of the evening. Everything felt coordinated and smooth, allowing us to truly relax and enjoy time with our loved ones before the big day. It set the tone for our wedding weekend perfectly.

The Lanaux Mansion is incredible; from the history to the architecture, there isn’t a better intimate location for a New Orleans wedding. The staff was even more amazing. They were so incredibly kind and helpful in the planning process and were such great hosts for our family and friends. We rented out the entire venue for the weekend for lodging, wedding ceremony, and reception. Beth and her team became our family. We still keep in touch over 4 years later!

Couples can host seated dinners for up to 60 guests or receptions for up to 100, with access to the mansion's charming courtyard for open-air celebrations. Elegant suites such as Sophie's Enchanted Cottage and the Wieland Suite provide luxurious accommodations for the couple and their guests, ensuring comfort and convenience throughout their stay.

- Andrea ThorntonManagerAndrea has incredible experience in the hospitality industry. In 2000 she served as the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Hotel Monteleone where she led revenue management, reservations, catering, and all hotel sales and marketing operations for over a decade. A respected leader in hospitality, Andrea co-founded Mid-South Women in Travel, served on the inaugural board of Tales of the Cocktail, and held board positions with the New Orleans CVB, French Quarter Business Association, and Historic Hotels of America, where she also chaired the Sales and Marketing Committee. Andrea has served as president of HENA, SKAL, and Meeting Planners International (MPI). Andrea’s achievements include being named one of Citibusiness’s Women of the Year (2003), receiving the Silver Plume Award for Best Director of Marketing, and earning the New Orleans CVB “Hats Off” Award. Andrea currently serves on the River Road Historical Society board and continues to bring her expertise to hospitality and event management as manager of the Lanaux Mansion.
