We LOVED that The Landing had on-site lodging - it was a major selling point for us. Having the whole wedding party and our immediate families staying literally on the property both nights was SO fun and SO convenient! It also provided the perfect way for our family (mostly coming from other states) to come out a couple days early to explore RMNP before the big day. We loved having everyone there, staying on the river, for the whole week/weekend!!

We chose the weekend buyout option, and it was one of the best decisions we made. Having our entire bridal party stay on-site made the weekend feel so special and allowed us to spend more quality time together. For our rehearsal dinner, we ordered pizzas and relaxed by the river, enjoying the beautiful property and spending time with our closest family and friends.
On the wedding day, it was amazing to be able to stay on-site, get ready in the bridal suite, and have everyone in one place. The ceremony site is absolutely stunning, set right along the river with breathtaking mountain views in the background. The reception hall is equally beautiful and was the perfect size for our 80 guests.
The entire weekend exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and charming, and every one of our guests commented on how beautiful the property was. We truly could not have imagined a more perfect wedding weekend.

We took a more DIY approach, bringing in florals from Trader Joe’s and simple touches from Hobby Lobby and the dollar store, and it all looked beautiful in the space.
Jen, the venue coordinator, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the process. Her warmth and responsiveness made planning from afar so much easier. In fact, after my husband’s very first conversation with her, we knew The Landing was the right fit — and we’re so thankful we followed that instinct. Working with Jen was a joy, and the space provided a welcoming and memorable backdrop for our guests to settle into Estes Park and kick off the celebration.

on site for multiple nights made for an intimate special experience and the fire pits were a lot of fun. During our rehearsal we all saw bobcat kittens with their mom, wild turkeys were infiltrating the ceremony space, and trout were protecting their eggs outside of our cabin. Caleb was so kind and checked in with us for our needs every morning. Jen was watching the vendors set up the wedding space and made sure to tell us how beautiful and unique everything looked. The colors of all the trees were perfect for late fall and all of our guests were in awe of the amazing experience they got to share with us! Jen and Jon, who run the venue, bring a special warmth to the place. Their friendliness makes everything so much more relaxed, and it’s clear they genuinely care about making every experience special. The onsite accommodations are a huge bonus, too. It was such a relief not having to worry about where our out-of-town guests would stay, as the rooms and cabins are right there, circling a cozy outdoor seating area perfect for late-night hangouts by the fire. Plus, the venue's location is perfect—just a quick four-minute ride to downtown and within walking distance of a local bar.
The reception space is spacious, with plenty of natural light pouring in from the large windows, letting you enjoy the mountain views without having to endure the evening chill. There's more than enough room for dining and dancing, and it’s a big plus that the venue provides harvest tables, which are in high demand in the local wedding scene.
All in all, this place is absolutely fantastic, and the caring touch of Jen and Jon makes it even more special. If you’re planning a wedding in Estes, do yourself a favor and check this spot out. The venue itself is spectacular. The scenery is incredible, especially with the ceremony site along the water (hard to find in Colorado!) and the experience of having our friends and family in one place, with no other guests, was incredibly special. For wedding parties that can't all fit at The Landing, there are plenty of other accommodations nearby, so it still felt like the whole party was there. From the fire pits outside, to the fire in the reception hall and in hotel rooms, to the yard games, compact property making it easy to get from one place to another, and the river rushing nearby, it was a comfortable, cozy, inviting atmosphere, which is exactly what we were looking for.
Having our wedding at The Landing meant we had a whole wedding weekend without ever having to leave the property, and our guests raved about the venue, with some saying they felt like they were staying in a magical Smurf Village. We cannot recommend The Landing highly enough; it will always be a special place for us!

second story deck boasting views of the Rockies, this is a storybook location. And the owner and staff of the venue are amazing. Every step of the way during the planning phase, we were given ample communication and we always felt like we knew exactly what was needed from us.
The wedding itself was actually a whole multi-day affair. We got to have 34 of our guests stay on site with us and hosted a great welcome party the night before, complete with a food truck and a gorgeous firepit to roast marshmallows. The day of, the bride had a perfect bridal suite for hair and makeup with her mother and daughter and our guests had the opportunity to spend the day exploring beautiful Estes Park. The ceremony itself was perfectly picturesque with the sound (and view) of Fall River running in the background and the beautiful Rocky Mountain scenery all around us. Our cocktail hour on the deck was amazing and the reception space was something out of a wedding magazine.

We had rain on our wedding day, the staff quickly adapted and moved our ceremony to their big deck so we could be outside but off the soaked lawn. The reception space, their event hall, was perfect for our sized wedding. The staff are all incredibly helpful and kind. They gave us great recommendations for other vendors, especially because they require a day-of coordinator and don't have onsite caterers.
The only aspect we did not like was the liquor vendor, Party Liquor, that we were required to work with, They only work with Party Liquor and we only had negative experiences with them.

dn’t even need to look at any other venues. During our tour, we were amazed by owners Jen & Jay - their kindness, patience and very obvious investment into making their property stunningly beautiful. Throughout the entire wedding planning process they were incredible, answered every single one of my questions (and there were a lot) and were so accommodating. Most of our wedding guests traveling in from out of state, so having them all stay on the property with us was perfect. Everyone in the family appreciated that we could be nearby all weekend and they could really be a part of the whole day.
Leading up to our best day ever, I was slightly panicked about the forecast as I had my heart set on an outdoor ceremony and rain was threatening to disrupt my vision. After sharing my concerns, Jen called me and talked me through every possible scenario and Plan B, C, and D. She spent 30 minutes on the phone with me easing my nerves and removing my stress. urroundings and equally beautiful lodging. The feel for me was a bit of an English Tudor feel meets Estes Park. The balcony view is enjoyable especially when you wake up to a 7-point elk grazing in the grassy field below your room. Rather a cool experience to wake up to. The rooms are nice size, and the bathrooms are very spacious. Especially love the oversized shower and the toiletries that they provided. We stayed in the Lady Bird room, and we enjoyed leaving the two sliding doors open all night to enjoy the cool night air and to hear the elk bugling on and off. Our room had a two-sided fireplace which we also enjoyed. The outdoor fire pit was also a lovely place to gather in the evening. Intimate and enjoyable as you are surrounded by a river and nature at your doorstep. The staff was a key part of the reason we chose to book at The Landing at Estes Park. They are truly amazing people and even a better team that works to ensure your stay is memorable.

The owners, Jen and Jay, were easy to work with throughout the process of booking, touring, and planning and were incredibly helpful and responsive to our needs the weekend of our wedding. We held our rehearsal dinner and ceremony outside near the river, our cocktail hour on the deck, and our reception inside the main hall. It was so convenient for our guests to have everything right on the same site! The lodging rooms are also extremely nice, up to date, and comfortable for our guests. For the brides and bridal party, there is an awesome getting room for your HMUA to use. The location is close to Rocky Mountain National Park and the main town of Estes Park, and it is also an easy 1.5 hr drive from the Denver airport for guests traveling from out of town. The setting is gorgeous, the flow from the ceremony on the lawn, cocktail hour on the deck, and reception in the hall was seamless. We absolutely loved that we could have ~35 of our friends and family stay with us on property for the weekend and the cabins and rooms are absolutely beautiful.
While we were constantly complimented on the venue, the biggest pro to choosing the Landing was the owners, Jen and Jay. They could not have been better to work with. largest wildfire in history and it was headed straight for Estes Park. Throughout that entire two week period Jen would call or email us with updates and was honest with us about the situation and if we’d be able to hold our wedding at their venue. At that point, they cared about my husband and I as a couple and wanted us to have the most perfect day whether they were hosting or not. We had many long conversations where Jen would calm me down and give me her unbiased advice and I can’t say how appreciated that is. Luckily, Estes park received a lot of snow and we were able to have our wedding at the landing! Jen and Jay are great hosts—They allowed our guests to check in early with very short notice, let us go into each room to set up goodie bags, and asked us all of the small details to make our day truly perfect. If you’re looking for an intimate venue to hold your wedding at, I highly recommend the landing!!

The Landing offers a unique opportunity to book all the rooms and the event space, allowing families the opportunity to gather along the river, and outdoor fireplaces and spend a relaxing time together. The hotel rooms are uniquely decorated in mountain style with attention to detail. The groom could even fly fish on the morning of the wedding. The large veranda is perfect for cocktail hour providing stunning views of the Big Thompson River. The Landing worked with us to find vendors and were helpful every step during the planning process. The suites in the lodge were a wonderful place for our daughter to dress and take first look pictures. They also provide a lovely bridal room for getting ready. The location was perfect for our daughter and husband to sneak away during cocktail hour and take photos up in Rocky Mountain National Park. Overall we can not say enough great things about the Landing at Estes Park.

and my family loved the setting of cabins close to wildlife and the river. It is a good selection of Villas, Cabins and also suites with great views and a luxury feel. Being real close to the entrance of the RMNP and down town is an added bonus!
We truly appreciated how easy going and facilitating the owners were and if anything needed to be fixed they were right on it. Just a very pleasant experience with a more complex group booking.
It is also a family operated business where the owners are local and can guide you in the right direction for your vacation wants and needs.
You cannot go wrong with The Landing Estes Park.
Side note: Unfortunately their reception structure was not ready for us to hold and host the wedding at the venue. Close to done now and it is looking to be a good one.
