Common House Chattanooga was the perfect venue for our wedding! The staff was second to none and made sure every guest was attended to. The event team also worked tirelessly with our wedding planner so that every detail was expertly curated. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception at various event spaces within the venue and each space was just as beautiful as the next. The architecture of the building provided our photographer and guests with endless photo-ops. Common House also provided our catering through their onsite restaurant and our guests raved about the food! My husband and I stayed in the house the weekend of the wedding and the wedding suite was very spacious and beautifully furnished. Thank you Common House Chattanooga for helping make our wedding perfect!

The most beautiful venue. Staff is absolutely incredible. We got married here last Friday, had our ceremony and reception in the Garden Space and everything went flawlessly! We are so appreciative of Tony, Savannah, and the entire staff behind the scenes at Common House. Having everything all in one space was the deal maker for us, food was excellent, bar service was 10/10, we were able to get ready at the venue! It was truly incredible. Forever grateful for this team 🤍

The Landing Social House is a modern social club and event venue, housed in the historic 1920’s Industrial YMCA building. Bookable by both members and non-members alike, The Landing offers unique private event spaces, in-house catering, full bar services, and a professional waitstaff. Whether your dream event is an intimate soirée or a grand celebration, The Landing will help bring your vision to life. The property offers picturesque private event spaces for both indoor and outdoor celebrations. Ruby Hall, the original YMCA gymnasium, boasts ample natural lighting, original hardwood floors, and beautiful chandeliers. The mezzanine level gives newlyweds a bird's-eye view of their celebration, and the built-in stage provides a natural location for a live band or DJ. The Pennybacker Room is a more intimate gathering space, providing a unique setting for first looks, cocktail hours, intimate ceremonies, and smaller receptions. Use it as a stop on your itinerary or plan your entire day around its grand beams and original tile work. The Garden is most popular for outdoor ceremonies and cocktail hour. The venue also offers six on-site guest rooms and a bridal suite, providing the perfect space for you and your wedding party to stay and get ready for the festivities. The Landing is able to accommodate a maximum of 150 people for a ceremony and reception when renting Ruby Hall and the Garden or a maximum of 70 people for a ceremony and reception when renting the Pennybacker Room and the Garden.    For those interested in hosting just a portion of their wedding day at The Landing, Ruby Hall accommodates a maximum of 300 people for a ceremony or 176 people for dinner and a reception. The Pennybacker Room accommodates a maximum of 80 people for a ceremony or 50 people for dinner and a reception.     Whether you’re looking to celebrate with 50 or 150 of your closest friends and family, The Landing will bring your ceremonies, receptions, engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, and bridal showers to life from start to finish.

together seamlessly, largely due to the hospitality and hard work of everyone at Common House. Our wedding weekend started with rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks on Friday. The rehearsal dinner on Friday was beautifully set and the food was phenomenal. We selected the family style option, which I highly recommend. The format makes the meal more interactive and it lets individuals take as much as they would like. There was more than enough food and the Common House staff was highly attentive to making sure everyone had what they needed. I forgot to inform Common House of two allergies before the rehearsal dinner and they accommodated both requests in real time (and both guests loved what they were served!). The welcome drinks took place in the Garden and the setting could not have been more perfect. Common House set up the fire pit and put out space heaters, and arranged the space in a way that worked perfectly for our ~100 guests on Friday evening. On Saturday, our cocktail hour took place in the Garden before our ~130 guests headed upstairs to Ruby Hall for dinner and dancing. The reception was incredible because everything was taken care of, from the space set up to the drinks to the food. My husband and I cared a lot about having no lines at the bar, and Common House made sure to keep the bar moving quickly and having wine passed during Cocktail Hour. The food at our reception was also family style, which our guests loved. Everyone who came to the wedding commented on how good the food was. While we expected the food to be fantastic because we had eaten at the Common House restaurant, we were really pleased that the quality was just as high when served for 130 guests. Ruby Hall was an incredible space for dancing - we had a nine-piece band on the stage and we could not have had a better time dancing with our friends and family. Our wedding weekend wrapped up with a brunch in the Garden on Sunday. The space set up and the food on Sunday was just as excellent as it had been on Friday and Saturday. The garden looked beautiful and the Common House staff made sure everything went smoothly. Overall, we could not believe how much fun we had at our wedding. Thanks to the team at Common House, we felt cared for and we rest assured knowing every detail was in place to make it a huge success. We love Common House and cannot wait to celebrate more occasions in the beautiful space!

s new bride, nor I currently live in the Chattanooga area. We worked with Rebecca remotely (I met with her once in person before the event). She went over every last detail with me and her recommendations were spot on. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. The staff is incredibly efficient and responsive. The food—oh my goodness—the food was simply delicious. I can’t think of a single criticism or complaint. I am so grateful that my son and his new wife selected CH as our rehearsal dinner venue. I’m not being paid to write this—know it sounds too good to be true—I’m just one very happy mother of the groom!!

ts, Rebecca is incredible. She was always so easy and fun to communicate with and I felt like I could trust her right off the bat. We rented out all of the hotel rooms for the entire wedding weekend—something I highly recommend! It makes it feel like you are on vacation with all of your friends. We loved having breakfast at the Common House restaurant every morning and hanging by the pool. The entire staff was so kind and accommodating through the whole weekend which made the experience that much more special. We had our ceremony and cocktail hour in the Garden and the reception in Ruby Hall. Having everything at Common House made the whole day feel really seamless for the vendors, guests, and bridal party. Everything about Common House was immaculate, the interiors, the staff, the food, the vibes—chefs kiss! Everyone said it was the best wedding they had been to. If you're thinking about having your wedding here you truly will not regret it.

I got married in the garden, transitioned to the Penny Backer room for cocktail hour and then to the Ruby Hall for the reception. The bridal suite exceeded my expectations and was such a wonderful place to spend the day getting ready. Rebecca at the Common House was super responsive throughout the entire process and made sure that on the day of our wedding everything was executed to the letter. The food is AMAZING and came out hot and delicious. All our guest were impressed with the Common House and could not believe the beautiful architecture and wonderful service.

ty throughout the day was so wonderful. The Director of Events, Rebecca, stayed in close contact throughout our whole process and day to ensure everything went perfectly - and it sure did! They worked excellently with all our other vendors too, which made everything a breeze for everyone! The venue itself is to die for, and I was we could do it all again just so I could work with their team again! We love Common House and will always hold special memories with them!
