The staff at the Landmark go above and beyond for your needs. The resort was the main hotel that our family & friends stayed at during the weekend of our wedding in August. Louise Franda was especially wonderful; communicative, helpful, friendly and kept me up-to-date with our lodging roster. The location itself is very beautiful; everyone enjoyed the lake views, my little cousins loved the swimming pools and the adults enjoyed the late-night bonfire. We hosted our rehearsal dinner at the State Room - the food, staff, and overall experience was impressive and I've heard a lot of great feedback. Louise & staff did a superb job with our welcome bags and the general warm, welcome attitude is something is something that will bring my husband, family and I back for a long time.

While planning my wedding I went through 3 different event managers/coordinators. Each one of them said they'd do different things for our wedding and when the day came, we had no coordinator. She was one of the bartenders and the bartenders didn't know how to make many drinks that our guests had asked for or didn't have the ingredients to make anything, even though we had paid for an open bar. The hotel rooms aren't nice at all but the views/ceremony site was what made us choose them. During our ceremony some of the sprinklers went off, you'd think they'd have turned them off during a wedding that had been planned for over a year. Also checking into the rooms took a very long time and was very disorganized. Overall, we had amazing weather which allowed for an awesome ceremony and outside reception!

We wanted a water view, lodging within walking distance of our reception, great service and great food. The Landmark met all of our requirements. I would recommend to any bride thinking about a DC wedding to check them out.

Renee and her team did a great job with my wedding. Renee was super helpful from start to finish! The food was really good also. I really liked that my guests could walk "home" from the reception if they were staying at the resort. The resort has some wonderful views.
