At The Last Bite, we are passionate about wedding cakes that are just delicious as they are beautiful – accompanied by exemplary service from our first conversation to the last bite of your custom creation. Since graduating from the Seattle Culinary Academy in 2001, where she was honored as "Most Outstanding Pastry Chef,” Krissie has specialized in custom designed, European-style wedding cakes that are both sophisticated works of art and exceptionally-delicious desserts. And because we believe in desserts that taste as incredible as they make you feel, we handcraft every component using only the highest-quality ingredients. Please note, starting with the 2020 wedding season, The Last Bite Bakery will be contracting with wedding clients for the months of May through October only. We will be operating the other half of the year (November through April) in the Coachella Valley/Palm Desert region. Get to know Krissie.... Krissie is truly passionate about making cakes and bringing joy to people's special occasions. She began her love of baking as a child but went on to obtain a Nutrition Science degree from the University of Washington & a Pastry Arts degree from the Seattle Culinary Academy. Taking the advice of so many of her friends to start her own business in 2001 proved to be a success! Krissie continues to perfect her dream and the excitement definitely comes through in every one of her creations. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, trail running, yoga and loves her three cavalier pups. But mostly, she relishes her time with her husband Dan and three adult children and two grand babies.
