Not a bad course; the fairways were in great shape, and the greens were as well. It's a fun course to play, and the price isn't going to hurt your pocket. John Morris and the rest of the staff were nice; I had a great experience.

Really solid course overall. They just finished the overseed, so the fairways are looking way better than they have in the past. Greens were a little fuzzy, but that’s totally normal right after overseeding.
The bunkers and hazards are laid ou...
t well most have been redone and look good, but a few still need more sand and could use a little cleanup. Pace of play was just a tad slower since it was cart path and rough only, but that’s expected with the overseed too.
Practice areas were great, nice to be able to hit off grass. Carts were in good shape. Everything was clean and in good shape. Staff was friendly and helpful, check-in was smooth, and the marshals were doing their job.
Green fees were a great deal for the shape the course is in. I’d definitely play here again and recommend it to others. Hole 5 is my favorite. Only downsides are a few bunkers that still need some love and some rough spots on the cart paths — otherwise, really nice round overall.

Had a great round here. Blue skies, green grass. It’s a nice layout within a neighbourhood, fairways and greens were in great condition.
Bunkers were hit and miss in terms of sand volume and quality.
Pro shop, staff helping with bags and the ...
starter - all excellent.
Price wise - a week day round cost $116 plus club hire was $65. Seems at least $50 cheaper than other options I was scouting.

Time for a new review. It’s been about a year. Early start and was pleasantly greeted by Billy, loaded my clubs and let m e know i was in first group. Clubhousenot open yet so i hit a few chips to warm up. I prepaidso checkin was quick and eas...
y. Greeted proshop associate and couldn'tget a smile or welcome. Asked him how was the course conditionand got It’s "fine". Not what i expected. Got to cart as my tee time was in 2 minutes. Reminder no GPS, need your range finder. No starter in yet. Was informed he was on his way in, not a great start. Got cart key and on my way. Now for course conditions. I'll begin with positives. Tee boxes and fairways (except sod thrown on top patch work, pic) were in good shape Grade A-. Greens were hit and miss. Appears heat and some disease may may have taken toll on about 30% note some oics. Grade C- as at least pins located away from really poor areas. Around the greens in very bad condition. If you miss the green you could find yourselfin unplayable lie. Grade F. Pics attached Traps appear to not have been raked or tended to in days. Grade D. Overall it appears progress was stalled either due to staffing or money, probably both. Cart paths still in poor shape and there are some areas so bad an accident is at risk. I do like the layout but the course value is worth only $50. I wish I could rate higher but it feels like ownership not interested in investing in course to become a premier course that could comand the higher green fees and repeated play. I was ready to book for tomorrow but I'll play elsewhere. Overall I wish the progress had not stalled and slipped. Can only give C Grade at best.

It's been a couple of months, so i decided to play Lagacy again and see the progress. Let's rate the course. Tee boxes A- good shape all but one or two were flat and and level in nice shape. Fairways B good shape, few areas need attention, but overall, I am very pleased. Greens B+ and very much improved. Would earn an A with a little more speed, but this has been a huge improvement, and i give the course tremendous kudos. Only #17 still has issues. Sand traps. B+ Another big improvement. Needs some triming but very playable. Cart paths C- and not a major concern, but several areas need major repairs. Big expense and not impacting golf play. Peripheral areas. C- These areas outside of normal play, Suggest areas around green oarking to rope off to allow grass to regrow, cart path trimming and just the little course details to look top notch. Again not impacting golf play, so they have priorities in order for the budget. Staff and assistance were friendly. Give a solid B. So overall, I grade Lefacy a sold B+ and am pleased with progress and definitely back on my Let's Go play course.
Another update after today's round. I am pleased to inform that Legacy GC continues to make nice strides under the new management. The greens are vastly improved and they were rolling! That is huge improvement. Several sand traps have been upgraded with new sand, nicely packed. The staff is positive and upbeat with the new team. Golf carts have been replaced. No GPS so bring your range finder or use their app. My only negative is I signed up for SNGA with the free round at Legacy and I got a discount but no free round. Need to let SNGA know. Overall making great progress and I will recommend and play Legacy GC once again. Keep it going!
Thanks
I played Legacy again, wanted to give the new management a chance to show their progress. They're doing a good job. This is ideal time for golf courses so i expected to see good progress. I'm pleased to say there was nice improvements. Greens are slow but there's grass, yeah. Keep it up and roll them. Fairways were good shape overseeding grew in nicely. They cut out the grass in the bunkers but they lack sand. One step at a time. Range and practice area nicely kept. Clubhouse and restaurant nicely kept. Restrooms clean and orderly. So I give them kudos and keep the progress going.

Played this course a few times now. Never has it been in great shape but its quality has been getting worse and worse. The reason for the one star is simple, the price does not match the quality of the course. When I used to play here it would ...
be around a $50 or less round. At that price I know the course may not be in the best shape but that’s ok because price reflects that. Recently they have been charging around $70. To me this meant quality or care must have went up…. Not true at all, if anything it got worse. I feel like I got robbed because most greens were rugged and half dead plus bunkers weren’t even raked to start the day. They were filled with large stones and some weren’t even sand, just desert floor next to the “green” disguised at a bunker. Nothing wrong with a course that isn’t maintained to a crazy high level but make the price reflect the quality of playability.
