Patty was truly incredible throughout our whole planning process. There were so many other venues that made us feel nickle and dimed, like we were just a walking paycheck to them. Not once did the staff at the Lemp make is feel like that. It was evident how much they truly care for their clients and aspire to give a positive experience from start to finish. The food was incredible, the bar staff executed my signature drinks perfectly, and the entire day ran smoothly. I could not recommend them enough. Almost a month after our wedding, guests are still talking about the memorable experiences they had at our event. If you are getting married in the Saint Louis area, give Patty a call and stop by- you won't be disappointed!!

Let me introduce myself, I am the mother of the bride. If I could give 100 gold stars I would! Yes the venue is fabulous, the setting is so unique, the roof top patio ceremony was spectacular!!! The price can't be beat for all that is included! All the guests raved about how the food was so delicious! Still nothing beats the peace of mind of having Patty Pointer as our coordinator. Patty guided us through every step of the way! She was realistic in how to address our ideas, gave us pointers on how best to spend our dollars and what not to waste them on. I felt instantly we were in good comforting hands. Patty has a great sense of humor too so meetings with her were always joyful! The day of the wedding I was so nervous, but seeing her calmed me. Everything went off without a hitch! I believe this is because the ceremony space, reception space, appetizers, bar and dinner are all provided by Lemp and coordinated for me by Patty! I didn't have to coordinate a thing! We only had 2 vendors; photographers and DJ and they were treated with professionalism and respect. Why only 2 vendors? Because the Lemp Grand Hall is so beautiful we didn't need a gazillion florals, just our centerpieces. The accommodating staff set those up as well as our signage. The ceremony space was set and ready and afterward was quickly converted to a gathering space with wrought iron tables and chairs. Our guests used that space to the fullest to mingle, take pictures and relax. I type this as I am still basking in the glow of a perfect wedding for our daughter and son in law. We continue to get messages from guests about how it was the best wedding they had ever attended! I give all the credit to Patty Pointer and her amazing staff at the Lemp Grand Hall

he food (beyond delicious), the atmosphere, it was all beyond words. Throughout the process of planning our wedding, we worked with Patty. She listened to all of our needs and wants and gave us the most spectacular day and made us feel like family. Patty even showed up on our wedding day to help prep and serve the food!! She is dedicated to her guests in a way I have rarely experienced.
We chose to use the outdoor gazebo and patio for our wedding. We held the reception in the gazebo and the staff did a room flip, turning the gazebo into the dance floor and utilized the patio for tables from dinner. Since it was outside, we were at the mercy of the weather. Sure enough, it started to rain just as everything was getting started, but the Lemp Mansion staff was ready. This was not their first rodeo! So fear not if you choose to use the outdoor space. They will make your evening feel magical even on the most dreary of days.
I (the bride) am a vegetarian. The Lemp Mansion had numerous scrumptious options to choose from, building a bountiful buffet of homemade dishes that help energized our guest for the dance floor. We opted for a late night snack that was perfectly timed to be served just over an hour before the end of the night.
I can't recommend the Lemp Mansion enough. The venue is gorgeous, clean, and steeped in history. The staff is welcoming and kind. The food will have your mouth watering. The Mansion is a welcoming, inclusive space for people of all backgrounds and identities. We had a queer-centered, Jewish wedding packed with every type of person you can imagine and there was not a single moment that felt off.

e gazebo was GORGEOUS. We chose Lemp because we wanted a historic, very St. Louis wedding. We had a 200-person wedding with a “California Style” ceremony (guests seated at their tables) followed by a reception at Lemp’s Gazebo & patio in late August. We loved being able to move from the ceremony to the reception so quickly, and the historic St. Louis brick architecture has the feel of a large dinner party in a courtyard. The night was warm, but under the tent and large fans, no one had a thing to say about the heat, and people weren’t afraid to dance the night away. One of my favorite memories from the whole day was sitting in a room in the mansion, watching all our quests arrive below. It was such a beautiful day. And Patty! Lemp’s coordinator, Patty, was right there throughout the planning process to answer all my questions and instill us with confidence and peace. When we were anxious about rain, she told us the rain plan. When we were anxious about the menu, she gave us an extra side. When we were anxious about anything, Patty was right there to quell our worries with a quick email. I felt so cared for by Patty and her staff and so in love with how the day turned out. Such a smooth, easy, and beautiful day.

cellent. The atmosphere of the room was elegant but comfortable and nostalgic. The outside space was beautiful with most of the guest enjoying the sunset and view of part of the city.
The staff was attentive to any needs we or our guest might have had. Patty and the staff also did an excellent job of making sure the tables looked elegant working with the florist. Patty also kept “things” on track with our friend who was our planner for this event.

s out from the wedding I decided I wanted upgraded chairs and Patty was able to order and schedule the delivery of the chairs very quickly. The wedding came together perfectly and the venue was beautiful this spring. The food was also great, we selected the standard wedding menu. If you are on a budget but want a wedding that looks and feels very expensive this is the place to book.
Few tips for other brides:
I did hire an additional day of coordinator. The day of coordinator helped keep the morning hair&makeup and photos on schedule before we arrived at the Lemp Mansion. Honestly hiring a day of coordinator was the best money I spent on the wedding.
I used Black Tie Weddings and Events for photography, DJ and photobooth. They are a recommended vendor from the Lemp Mansion and they did an amazing job.

We highly recommend having your ceremony and reception at the gazebo -- our guests loved the ease and laid back feel of the "California style" ceremony that went straight into happy hour and dinner fun! Our guests also loved the beautiful and charming neighborhood, which is very walkable and filled with many fun things to do over the wedding weekend! The event was seamless and working with Patty, the owner, was a pleasure and a breeze. She is a true pro and will handle everything, and leave you feeling confident your big day will be perfect. We were initially nervous about having an all-outdoor event in summer, but they have many big fans that kept the space very comfortable without creating a loud ruckus. The Lemp provided a truly beautiful room in their hotel for the wedding party to get ready in, which made the afternoon feel so special. The food was also incredible -- we did the barbecue option and our guests loved it! It was extremely easy and no-hassle to have the Lemp do the catering and the bar (bartenders were great too!) and helped the event go smoothly. Patty even coordinated clean up the night of, so that all of our family and friends could join us at the after-after party -- she will do EVERYTHING to make the day focused on you! They blamed not having enough plates or forks on the bride saying “she knew what she paid for “ and when questioned why they did not have any on site the explanation was “we rent everything for each wedding” to guest who inquired. And proceeded to eat dinner off the buffet after telling guest they could only have one option of meat not both.. there was plenty of food and left overs but permission was not given to the staff to fill their plates they took it upon themselves. They were overall very rude and I would not recommend the Lemp lofts the owner was a jerk .

the surrounding garden and potted plants that are so well maintained. We worked with Patty throughout our planning process and she was fantastic. Her wedding hosting experience was obvious and she made us feel very comfortable as she answered all of our questions over many months and communicated with our vendors without issue, even remembering details on the day that we had forgotten. She was really willing to work with us to host the type of wedding that we wanted, and we loved how everything turned out. We were looking for a "one stop shop" experience that would be able to set up, host, provide food and beverage, and then cleanup with little contribution on our part, and Lemp made that happen seamlessly!
One of our biggest concerns was hosting an outdoor wedding at the end of August in St. Louis. However, the majority of the area is covered and there are plenty of fans keeping the air moving, so even with temperatures in the upper 80s it was a very comfortable evening! The staff was wonderful and very attentive, and the food and drinks were great and as expected from our tasting.
The Lemp Mansion patio and gazebo really felt like "us" when we were searching for venues, and we are so happy with our decision to have our wedding and reception here. Thank you to Patty and her team for helping us host such a beautiful and memorable evening!

our reception at the gazebo and coach haus and even though it was a warm day, they had many fans and most of our guests seemed very comfortable. There are multiple food tastings to familiarize yourself with their fare and we were hard pressed to find anything we didn't like, their selection is wide. Patty was always easily reached and did an excellent job of keeping us on task with meetings and scheduling. I also found this venue to be very affordable and I was pleasantly surprised that they put together food, drink, table rentals, linens etc so that we knew the approximate cost of the final payment and were able to plan accordingly. I would recommend this venue to any one!

to Covid. Patty welcomed us immediately and worked with us to give us the wedding of our dreams in our budget.
The week of our wedding there was rain in the forecast, and the day before we had to add a ceremony to our package and the team was INCREDIBLE to accommodate adjustments so last minute. Even being able to flip our ceremony to reception space in such short notice!
Absolutely nothing went wrong the day of the wedding, and guests are still raving about the food and venue. Patty and her crew made sure everything went smoothly the day of the wedding, our guests had a great time with the bartenders, and staff from the event recognized us the next day and congratulated us after our stay at the Mansion.
We could not be more pleased with our choice of venue, and can’t wait to celebrate future anniversaries at the Mansion!

There is a parking lot available directly across the street which was so helpful for guests.
On top of the venue, Patty was incredible to work with. I could email, call, or text with any questions and she would respond very quickly and work with me to make whatever I wanted possible. She was also very honest when I was trying to plan and knows her venues so well. She is very calm and made the day no stress for me. She was there keeping things on track and making sure me and my husband were having a great time all night.
The food was also incredible and the service was so quick. 10/10 can’t say enough great things about this stunning venue!

day of with Paul. We chose Lemp because it was a great price for just how cool the place is, and it needs such little decorating - it's got such charm already! They were willing to work with us to make sure our day was what we wanted and are such pros, it made it easier to deal with everything. Food is great too! I honestly dont have anything to complain about.

re slow. But the closer we got to our wedding the easier it was to communicate. Patty and her team were kind enough to let us view the space more than once and even allowed us to bring our photographer along once so she could plan ahead. She was incredibly accommodating an flexible. The space has its own charm and historic beauty so we didn't need to decorate hardly at all. They set up all of our decorations for us the night before so all I had to do was review and tweak day-of. It couldn't have been more perfect!

Patty if we could rent heaters. I was nervous it being so close it wouldn't be an option, but she made it happen. She had great suggestions on buying blankets and have the fire going to keep guests warm as well. We met with her a handful of times and each meeting was so helpful. I felt completely at ease with Patty in charge. I emailed her quite often and she would always be kind and helpful and answer me very promptly. The food, atmosphere and staff were amazing. I would recommend them to anyone!

dy in a few of the rooms at the mansion before our ceremony, and the rooms made for absolutely stunning photos of us getting ready. Patty was amazing to work with. Very down to earth and extremely accommodating to anything we wanted to do. Her staff was incredible as well. Everything went as smoothly as possible, and our guests are still telling us that it was the best wedding reception they had ever been to. The food was so good, too! Spending the night at the mansion with our families after the reception was soooo much fun. Thank you to The Lemp Mansion, Patty and her staff for hands down the best day of our lives! I could not recommend them more!

was there. If it wasn't, you had it within ten minutes. Patty went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure that as indecisive as I am - I was comfortable with every single choice I made. And if two days later I wasn't - she changed it. Then..... the rest was left in Matt's hands. And my husband and I could not have been more satisfied or absolutely amazed at his attention to detail or keeping up with everything and us, not to mention making sure each and every single guest was attended to and happy. We received many compliments on the venue, the food, and the overall experience. We also rented rooms at the mansion for overnight and for getting dressed. The Lavender Suite was perfect for getting ready and for truly spectacular pictures. We absolutely loved this venue

d a rooftop patio outside. It's all family run which we thought was really cool. We toured with Paul about a year before the wedding and knew it would be perfect. We worked with Paul's sister Patty to organize and plan everything, and her sister Mary on the day before and of to coordinate. They offer a tasting a few times per year to try the food and drinks. We also went on the Thursday before to drop off all decorations and plan the final details with Mary. They decorated the whole venue and Mary really took care of us - even wrapping up some food and cake for us at the end of the night. Everyone raved about how delicious the food was and how beautiful the venue is. We had about 130 guests, which was the perfect size for the wedding - not too open and not too tight and compact. One thing is, the chairs are very ugly. At first, I thought I could get over it, but ended up renting chair covers for about $300 6 weeks before the wedding. Overall though, would definitely recommend!

way to make sure my husband and I had drinks and were happy. We ended up with perfect weather but Patty had heaters on call up until a day or two before worst case. We got so many compliments from guests on the beautiful outdoor venue with so much character. The food was delicious and the waiters/bartenders were friendly (everyone loved bartender Byron!). Overall, the Lemp Mansion is the perfect place to host a wedding and/or reception and is a fantastic value for your money.

entire wedding planning process and her staff was polite, fun, helpful and had a fantastic attitude. The bartender was awesome too. The staff set up all of our table decorations before the reception and they did a great job. If you are thinking about booking a wedding reception here you will not regret it!

anges wonderfully. The venue was beautiful and had the historic, graceful, woodland look we wanted. They let you drop off decorations early which really helped with scheduling that weekend. We had a lot of moms with babies at our wedding, and we were able to have a separate room for them to feed their little ones which meant the world to our guests. Their food was delicious and the drink service was spot on. We had 95 guests which gave us the perfect amount of space for dinner and then dancing all night long. If you are looking for a great venue, look no further!

As we were talking with Patty we expressed an interest in the ceremony and reception being in the same place, she quickly took us to see Lemp's Loft! It was even more perfect than we could have imagined. It was raw industrial beauty! Working with Patty was a dream! She really makes it as easy for you as she can and wants you to have the best wedding you could imagine. At our consultation she told me, "If you want unicorns and hayrides, we'll get you unicorns and hayrides." Those were not things I wanted, but this mentality really helped make wedding planning a breeze! She was always there to answer questions and make recommendations when needed. Their wedding packages take away a lot of stress too! Having catering, bar, tables, linens, etc all in one place was a life saver! We could not have asked for a better venue or a better coordinator to work with!

n our wedding night but the tent had pull down sides, the fireplace was going and there were outdoor heaters so we didn't even notice the rain! We received so many compliments on the food - we were told by several people that it was the best wedding food they've ever had!!! Patty created a custom menu for us and it was perfect. She was a pleasure to work with and made sure the night ran smoothly. Our wedding night was amazing thanks to the Lemp and I highly recommend it to anyone as they have several event spaces to choose from! Patty will take care of everything for you.

ar is the staff. Patty made choosing Lemp very easy by sending us specifc estimates upfront. She then continuted to constantly be great by anticipating what we might need, being very flexible with our ideas, and overall helping us tremendously. The rest of her staff were fantastic as well. We received so many compliments afterwards on the venue and how well everything went. (Also, I don't think you'll find better value for your money anywhere)
You absolutely should consider Lemp in your wedding planning.

easy, and enjoyable. Patty was patient and accessible from start to finish! The rehearsal dinner and the reception were flawless! The food was AMAZING! The wait staff and bar tenders did everything they could to accommodate us and our guests. Both venues are beautiful, clean, one of a kind and well kept! I HIGHLY recommend booking the Lemp Mansion or Lemp Mansion's Grand Hall! We will never forget all the hard work from Patty and her staff to create the best day of our lives!
