The Lemp Mansion

I can’t say enough good about the lemp mansion and Patty pointer. We had our wedding and reception on the patio this past July and it was absolutely perfect. Patty was amazing from the day we met her, I had tons of questions and she was always responsive and never made me feel like a bother. The staff was fantastic as well.

We got married at the Lemp gazebo on June 17, 2023, and we could not have been happier with the whole event, venue, and just everything! It is such a beautiful and unique space that was perfect for our size (140 guest) and the vibe we were going for. We highly recommend having your ceremony and reception at the gazebo -- our guests loved the ease and laid back feel of the "California style" ceremony that went straight into happy hour and dinner fun! Our guests also loved the beautiful and charming neighborhood, which is very walkable and filled with many fun things to do over the wedding weekend! The event was seamless and working with Patty, the owner, was a pleasure and a breeze. She is a true pro and will handle everything, and leave you feeling confident your big day will be perfect. We were initially nervous about having an all-outdoor event in summer, but they have many big fans that kept the space very comfortable without creating a loud ruckus. The Lemp provided a truly beautiful room in their hotel for the wedding party to get ready in, which made the afternoon feel so special. The food was also incredible -- we did the barbecue option and our guests loved it! It was extremely easy and no-hassle to have the Lemp do the catering and the bar (bartenders were great too!) and helped the event go smoothly. Patty even coordinated clean up the night of, so that all of our family and friends could join us at the after-after party -- she will do EVERYTHING to make the day focused on you! Attended a wedding at the Lemp lofts in January - The venue itself was beautiful . The owner/manager was horrendous . Yelled at family of the bride to “move out of the way” while flipping the room. Guest were told to keep their glasses there wasent enough. They blamed not having enough plates or forks on the bride saying “she knew what she paid for “ and when questioned why they did not have any on site the explanation was “we rent everything for each wedding” to guest who inquired. And proceeded to eat dinner off the buffet after telling guest they could only have one option of meat not both.. there was plenty of food and left overs but permission was not given to the staff to fill their plates they took it upon themselves. They were overall very rude and I would not recommend the Lemp lofts the owner was a jerk .

We held our wedding ceremony and reception on the patio and gazebo in late August and it was a perfect day! The space is historic and beautiful, practically decorating itself with the surrounding garden and potted plants that are so well maintained. We worked with Patty throughout our planning process and she was fantastic. Her wedding hosting experience was obvious and she made us feel very comfortable as she answered all of our questions over many months and communicated with our vendors without issue, even remembering details on the day that we had forgotten. She was really willing to work with us to host the type of wedding that we wanted, and we loved how everything turned out. We were looking for a "one stop shop" experience that would be able to set up, host, provide food and beverage, and then cleanup with little contribution on our part, and Lemp made that happen seamlessly! One of our biggest concerns was hosting an outdoor wedding at the end of August in St. Louis. However, the majority of the area is covered and there are plenty of fans keeping the air moving, so even with temperatures in the upper 80s it was a very comfortable evening! The staff was wonderful and very attentive, and the food and drinks were great and as expected from our tasting. The Lemp Mansion patio and gazebo really felt like "us" when we were searching for venues, and we are so happy with our decision to have our wedding and reception here. My husband and I got married June 11, 2022. The Lemp Mansion and their coordinator, Patty Pointer, did a phenomenal job from the moment we visited the venue. We got married and had our reception at the gazebo and coach haus and even though it was a warm day, they had many fans and most of our guests seemed very comfortable. There are multiple food tastings to familiarize yourself with their fare and we were hard pressed to find anything we didn't like, their selection is wide. Patty was always easily reached and did an excellent job of keeping us on task with meetings and scheduling. I also found this venue to be very affordable and I was pleasantly surprised that they put together food, drink, table rentals, linens etc so that we knew the approximate cost of the final payment and were able to plan accordingly. I would recommend this venue to any one!

Our wedding was May 14th, with both the ceremony and reception in the gazebo area. Patty and her team were GREAT to work with. We were really worried about how to pull all the details together the day of, and Patty was ON IT. They took what we had and ran with it, going even above-and-beyond anything we expected. Patty is flexible and really made us feel like she'd happily incorporate any creative twist we could dream up and her 'no BS' attitude through the whole experience made us laugh and put us at ease. The venue is beautiful, like out of a fairytale. And the food, of course, was just as delicious as everyone else said it would be, with menus that are extremely customizable and affordable. LGBT+ friendly without a second thought. We can't say enough!

We had our wedding at the lofts in April 2021 and Patty and her team could not have been more supportive. We came to the Lofts after our original wedding venue cancelled on us due to Covid. Patty welcomed us immediately and worked with us to give us the wedding of our dreams in our budget. The week of our wedding there was rain in the forecast, and the day before we had to add a ceremony to our package and the team was INCREDIBLE to accommodate adjustments so last minute. Even being able to flip our ceremony to reception space in such short notice! Absolutely nothing went wrong the day of the wedding, and guests are still raving about the food and venue. Patty and her crew made sure everything went smoothly the day of the wedding, our guests had a great time with the bartenders, and staff from the event recognized us the next day and congratulated us after our stay at the Mansion. We could not be more pleased with our choice of venue, and can’t wait to celebrate future anniversaries at the Mansion!

I truly cannot say enough positive things about the venue and the staff. We had our wedding at the Lemp Grand Hall. There is a beautiful old elevator going up to the venue to make us accessible to all guests! It is a large open hall with many old time touches attached to a large outdoor deck which was beautiful for our ceremony! There is a parking lot available directly across the street which was so helpful for guests. On top of the venue, Patty was incredible to work with. I could email, call, or text with any questions and she would respond very quickly and work with me to make whatever I wanted possible. She was also very honest when I was trying to plan and knows her venues so well. She is very calm and made the day no stress for me. She was there keeping things on track and making sure me and my husband were having a great time all night. The food was also incredible and the service was so quick. 10/10 can’t say enough great things about this stunning venue!

We recently had our wedding reception at the Grand Hall and we LOVED it! The space has a great feel to it, and I felt that we didn't need to add much to the decor. The outside patio is a bonus! Patty was our contact person and she made us feel so comfortable with all of our decisions. Don't forget the food - spot on! We live in the neighborhood and it was so special to be able to celebrate our marriage at the Lemp. Thank you Patty!

We had our ceremony and reception at Lemp this past fall - our wedding was on the patio and the reception at Loft. It was pretty much perfect. We dealt mostly with Patty and then day of with Paul. We chose Lemp because it was a great price for just how cool the place is, and it needs such little decorating - it's got such charm already! They were willing to work with us to make sure our day was what we wanted and are such pros, it made it easier to deal with everything. Food is great too! I honestly dont have anything to complain about.

We held our ceremony in the Loft and our reception in the Grand Hall and couldn't have had a better experience. Communication was a little difficult at first and email responses were slow. But the closer we got to our wedding the easier it was to communicate. Patty and her team were kind enough to let us view the space more than once and even allowed us to bring our photographer along once so she could plan ahead. She was incredibly accommodating an flexible. The space has its own charm and historic beauty so we didn't need to decorate hardly at all. They set up all of our decorations for us the night before so all I had to do was review and tweak day-of. It couldn't have been more perfect!

Our reception was outside on the Patio next to the mansion. It was absolutely gorgeous. Our temperatures ended up being pretty chilly. A week and a half before the wedding I asked Patty if we could rent heaters. I was nervous it being so close it wouldn't be an option, but she made it happen. She had great suggestions on buying blankets and have the fire going to keep guests warm as well. We met with her a handful of times and each meeting was so helpful. I felt completely at ease with Patty in charge. I emailed her quite often and she would always be kind and helpful and answer me very promptly. The food, atmosphere and staff were amazing. I would recommend them to anyone!

Fantastic venue, staff, food. Incredibly easy to work with couldn't have been a better experience. the staff Isis an amazing job setting up the venue it was gorgeous. We could not be happier and the food was amazing. Patty is terrific to work woth.

This venue went way above and beyond for everything! It was so convenient having food, alcohol, ceremony and reception venue all done by the same place. They're so helpful in setting up and packed all of our stuff up to help the family. Way more than I expected of them and their prices were much better than some of the other places I was looking at! All of our guests are still talking about how good the food was.

My husband and I had our reception at The Grand Hall and rented all the rooms at the mansion to stay that night. To say our wedding day was perfect is an understatement. We got ready in a few of the rooms at the mansion before our ceremony, and the rooms made for absolutely stunning photos of us getting ready. Patty was amazing to work with. Very down to earth and extremely accommodating to anything we wanted to do. Her staff was incredible as well. Everything went as smoothly as possible, and our guests are still telling us that it was the best wedding reception they had ever been to. The food was so good, too! I don't even know where to begin..... Patty, Mary, Matt.... and EVERY single person at Lemp that was involved in our day felt like part of our family. If you needed something - it was there. If it wasn't, you had it within ten minutes. Patty went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure that as indecisive as I am - I was comfortable with every single choice I made. And if two days later I wasn't - she changed it. Then..... the rest was left in Matt's hands. And my husband and I could not have been more satisfied or absolutely amazed at his attention to detail or keeping up with everything and us, not to mention making sure each and every single guest was attended to and happy. We recently had our wedding at Lemp Mansion and the reception at Lemp's Grand Hall, and it was absolutely amazing! Patty is great as well as all of the staff. Such a fun night for everyone!

Perfect, everything was perfect. We had our ceremony and reception on the patio, the food is amazing, the staff is amazing. Patty is absolutely wonderful to work with, I can not say enough good things about them.

The Lemp Mansion has three wedding venues, we chose the Grand Hall which has an attached outdoor patio. We had ceremony and reception in the same room, the room was stunning. You are assigned a coordinator for your event , we had Patty, who works with you to plan, set up, and wrangle your wedding. We received many compliments on the venue, the food, and the overall experience. We also rented rooms at the mansion for overnight and for getting dressed. The Lavender Suite was perfect for getting ready and for truly spectacular pictures. We absolutely loved this venue

We had our wedding reception at the Lemp Grand Hall on July 15. It was beautiful. The Grand Hall has an old school elevator with an operator, a very vintage hall with large bar, and a rooftop patio outside. It's all family run which we thought was really cool. We toured with Paul about a year before the wedding and knew it would be perfect. We worked with Paul's sister Patty to organize and plan everything, and her sister Mary on the day before and of to coordinate. They offer a tasting a few times per year to try the food and drinks. We also went on the Thursday before to drop off all decorations and plan the final details with Mary. They decorated the whole venue and Mary really took care of us - even wrapping up some food and cake for us at the end of the night. Everyone raved about how delicious the food was and how beautiful the venue is. We had about 130 guests, which was the perfect size for the wedding - not too open and not too tight and compact. One thing is, the chairs are very ugly. At first, I thought I could get over it, but ended up renting chair covers for about $300 6 weeks before the wedding. Overall though, would definitely recommend!

We had both our ceremony and reception in April 2017 at the Lemp Mansion patio/gazebo area. Patty and staff were very accommodating and made our day so easy. They went out of their way to make sure my husband and I had drinks and were happy. We ended up with perfect weather but Patty had heaters on call up until a day or two before worst case. We got so many compliments from guests on the beautiful outdoor venue with so much character. The food was delicious and the waiters/bartenders were friendly (everyone loved bartender Byron!). Overall, the Lemp Mansion is the perfect place to host a wedding and/or reception and is a fantastic value for your money.

I cannot say enough good things about the Lemp! We had our wedding reception outside under the white tent and it was absolutely beautiful. Patty Pointer was helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process and her staff was polite, fun, helpful and had a fantastic attitude. The bartender was awesome too. The staff set up all of our table decorations before the reception and they did a great job. If you are thinking about booking a wedding reception here you will not regret it!

My husband and I had our wedding reception in the Lemp Loft. It was perfect. Patty and her crew were on top of everything. They were straight forward and handled our last minute changes wonderfully. The venue was beautiful and had the historic, graceful, woodland look we wanted. They let you drop off decorations early which really helped with scheduling that weekend. We had a lot of moms with babies at our wedding, and we were able to have a separate room for them to feed their little ones which meant the world to our guests. Their food was delicious and the drink service was spot on. We had 95 guests which gave us the perfect amount of space for dinner and then dancing all night long. If you are looking for a great venue, look no further!

After looking at multiple venues we knew the second we walked into the Lemp Grand Hall it was where we would have our reception. It has everything! It's gorgeous and has great history! If the inside wasn't enough to win us over the patio is beautiful too! As we were talking with Patty we expressed an interest in the ceremony and reception being in the same place, she quickly took us to see Lemp's Loft! It was even more perfect than we could have imagined. It was raw industrial beauty! Working with Patty was a dream! She really makes it as easy for you as she can and wants you to have the best wedding you could imagine. At our consultation she told me, "If you want unicorns and hayrides, we'll get you unicorns and hayrides." Those were not things I wanted, but this mentality really helped make wedding planning a breeze! She was always there to answer questions and make recommendations when needed. Their wedding packages take away a lot of stress too! Having catering, bar, tables, linens, etc all in one place was a life saver! We could not have asked for a better venue or a better coordinator to work with!

The Lemp was the perfect venue - amazing staff, beautiful scenery and all at an amazing all-inclusive price..The gazebo was a magical venue for our reception. It was pouring rain on our wedding night but the tent had pull down sides, the fireplace was going and there were outdoor heaters so we didn't even notice the rain! We received so many compliments on the food - we were told by several people that it was the best wedding food they've ever had!!! Patty created a custom menu for us and it was perfect. She was a pleasure to work with and made sure the night ran smoothly. Our wedding night was amazing thanks to the Lemp and I highly recommend it to anyone as they have several event spaces to choose from! Patty will take care of everything for you.

I had my wedding at the Lemp Mansion on the patio and then my reception at the Grand Hall: It was flawless. Patty might be my favorite person ever. It was storming and they accommodated everyone so well! They set it up and took it down for us. Seriously, I wouldn't have changed a thing about my wedding and I owe them the praise for that!

We hired the Lemp Grand Hall as our ceremony and reception venue and ended up hiring their Loft space for a cocktail hour in between. Both locations are so great, but the real star is the staff. Patty made choosing Lemp very easy by sending us specifc estimates upfront. She then continuted to constantly be great by anticipating what we might need, being very flexible with our ideas, and overall helping us tremendously. The rest of her staff were fantastic as well. We received so many compliments afterwards on the venue and how well everything went. (Also, I don't think you'll find better value for your money anywhere) You absolutely should consider Lemp in your wedding planning.

They should get 10 stars. Our wedding was Oct. 7, 2016. In was AWESOME !! Rachael, Mary, Patty made everything perfect. The food was amazing. The gazebo was beautiful. Every detail was exactly as we wanted. Thank you making our special day more than I ever imagined it could be.🎂🍾💐🍻🍷🍺🍹😃❤️

Patty and her staff are the BEST! We had our rehearsal dinner at Lemp Mansion and our wedding reception at Lemp Mansion’s Grand Hall. Patty made the entire experience stress-free, easy, and enjoyable. Patty was patient and accessible from start to finish! The rehearsal dinner and the reception were flawless! The food was AMAZING! The wait staff and bar tenders did everything they could to accommodate us and our guests. Both venues are beautiful, clean, one of a kind and well kept! I HIGHLY recommend booking the Lemp Mansion or Lemp Mansion's Grand Hall! We will never forget all the hard work from Patty and her staff to create the best day of our lives!

The Lemp Mansion was an amazing venue for our June wedding! Patty and her staff did an outstanding job! The staff was so accommodating and went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Patty was there every step of the way to make things so easy and hassle free. The food was outstanding and delicious. All of our guests were telling us what a wonderful place for a wedding and how wonderful the food was. I would highly recommend the Lemp Mansion for a wedding venue. The gazebo at night with the lights on looked so beautiful, more beautiful than I could have imagined. It was the prettiest wedding with the best food at a wedding I have been to and I am not just saying that because it was my wedding! We absolutely loved the Lemp Mansion! Wow!!! We absolutely loved everything about the Lemp! Patty and Mary were wonderful to work with - and so easy going. We had our ceremony in the courtyard which was beautiful and our reception at Lemp's Loft which is exactly our style. We could not have been more pleased with choosing the Lemp for our wedding!

Patty was amazing and so very helpful throughout the whole process. She was so patient even as I changed the exact time of the reception 3 times! Every time we had a question, I would have a response within the day, if not a promise to respond at a later time. Honestly, she was super helpful and really made us feel like the sky was the limit. The food was delicious. Our guests actually enjoyed dinner, as did we. What impressed me was the perfectly cooked texture of the new potatoes. It really helped to have our caterer already wrapped into our venue. My favorite question was "oh, who is your caterer?" Because it took no work, no research, they were just there and they were really really good. The venue itself was beautiful. When I was visiting with my guests, they kept telling me how gorgeous the venue was! It really was a lovely surprise to come in and see everything, clearly in place and going perfectly smoothly. I hadn't realized, but the upper deck at the grand hall has powerful heaters which even further extended the space for the party. It was difficult at first to get in contact with the wedding coordinator. We just drove by the venue to get a feel for the location and they just happened to be setting up for a wedding. They graciously welcomed us in, gave us a tour and happily exchanged information. Once we managed to make initial contact, everyone was very receptive. Thank you for making the best day of my life thus far, a wonderful, attainable reality.

We had our reception at the Lemp Loft which is a hidden gem in St. Louis. Mary Wolff was incredibly easy to work with and willing to do whatever we wanted. The Loft is gorgeous and has a ton of character but we were still able to easily add our personal touches. I also got lots of compliments on the food! Our 120 guests fit very comfortably- we could have had 15-20 more people. The staff was very attentive and checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we had drink and were happy. I highly recommend the Loft. Everything was perfect!

My husband and I had our reception at the Lemp's Grand Hall and it was absolutely AMAZING!! The food was phenomenal, the hall was clean and beautiful and the staff were all so sweet and helpful. Patty was so great to work with and we couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our day!

We had the most PERFECT wedding and reception here! The staff was EXTREMELY helpful, attentive, appreciative and fast! Patty and her crew went ABOVE & BEYOND to make this wedding BETTER than anything we imagined. We even hired a flashmob that had nothing to do with the Lemp and the Lemp crew jumped right in to help make sure everything was timed perfect to surprise our guests! I cannot say enough about how absolutely THRILLED we were with our ceremony and reception! I have so many people calling (yes, even a week later) telling me how BEAUTIFUL, FUN & PERFECT our wedding and reception was! We did a Gatsby theme and EVERYONE dressed up! We also had a cigar bar and the Lemp crew took care of setting everything up so perfectly that it turned out being the hang out of the 'non-dancers' for the night! I can't thank the Lemp crew and Patty enough for giving me the GREATEST wedding we could have ever dreamed!!!!

We loved our experience at the Lemp. We were a little nervous as 2 other wedding parties were also booking other sites on the property that day (loft, gazebo) but Patty, Paul, & Mary insured our event went off without a hitch. Patty went over the design of the ceremony outside under the gazebo prior to the day of and she checked in during the day to make sure things were on time. When you book the gazebo the package also include a room to get ready in for both the ladies and the men which is nice. We also had the grand hall down the street booked which was amazing. Parking was not an issue for our 150 guests as they have a gravel lot with someone who directs and watches the lot and then the hall itself has a deck and a loft elevator which our guests loved. We did a buffet style and we got tons of compliments on the food. The venue was also accommodating on our extra needs such as special decorations, guests with mobility difficulties, photobooth, drinks, etc. We absolutely loved our experience with the Lemp. We even had a photo that had an unexplainable "orb" in it. Thank you to everyone at the Lemp who made our day so incredibly special!

We booked Lemp's Gazebo for our April wedding. It was a great outdoor venue with cover! There was some delay in response to us when we first booked it 6(ish) months out and had several questions for them. But as it got closer, they were on it! We loved having out wedding there and the staff was super that night!!! I recommend Patty and her staff to anyone!!

I absolutely love this venue! Everything including the lobby and elevator is just amazing. The food was awesome and the staff is very friendly! We worked with Patty and she was great! The only thing I would have to say is that you need to be very patient. Patty and her sister Mary work very hard and coordinate all the events at both the Grand Hall and the Lemp Mansion so some times communication can be rough. Even with that being said I would still Highly recommend this venue! It is well worth the money and you will not be disappointed!

We cannot say enough about the way we were treated, the service we were provided, and how much we LOVED our reception. Patty with the Lemp is just beyond amazing. She worked with us on everything we needed, and was more accomodating than I can put into words. They did an incredible job, and everything was just beautiful and perfect. It was all very reasonably priced, and the food was delicious. We got so many compliments from our guests. Many said it was the most awesome venue they had ever seen, very unique! My husband and I were blown away!! You will not regret having your reception here.

Lemp Grand Hall was a fantastic choice for our wedding reception. Space was large enough to accommodate our guests. Indoor/outdoor areas were great for all guests throughout the evening.

The Hall was the perfect setting for our wedding. The guests raved about the location and the set up. Everything ran smoothly and Lemp did a great job of meeting all of our needs. Highly recommend, great event.

I chose Lemp's Grand Hall based off the fact that they have a beautiful patio that is connected directly to the venue. This was a huge hit with our guests! My biggest pet peeve is people standing in the parking lot smoking all night and can't be a part of the party. I also loved the rustic/ vintage charm that Lemp had to offer. Patty our coordinator was amazing and is so happy to help you have your perfect day. I really couldn't have been more happy with my choice of venue. I was a little neurotic and frazzled and she put up with me and didn't give me any attitude. Anything I asked for she made happen. She was fantastic! Also, her brother Paul was super awesome the night of our actual wedding. They are an awesome team! The food was also delicious. I have probably been to approximately 50 weddings and the Lemp has some of the best food. Especially, the chicken spedini! Loved it! The space itself really transforms once you add your own personal details. I know this is biased but I thought we had the best wedding and the best venue. I can't thank the people at the Lemp enough for making our wedding reception such an amazing and fun experience!

The initial working with the Lemp Grand Hall was stressful because of some early miscommunications, however, once those were cleared up the went was fabulous! The food received rave reviews from the guests, the indoor/outdoor space was perfect for the unusual mild temperatures we had in June, the aucoustics for the music were amazing! I would highly recommend using the Lemp Grand Hall but make sure to keep good notes and follow up. I was lucky to have a great weddin planner to do this for me.

Everything for my reception at the Grand Hall was perfect! Patty did an amazing job setting up, and the service was great. My guests were also impressed! The food was ok, but I've definitely had worse at other weddings I've been to. The venue is beautiful and the pricing was just right (just over $10000 for 200 people)! We didn't have any extra costs that weren't previously discussed. I am so happy with my experience!

While known as one of the most haunted buildings in the United States, Lemp Mansion is a beautiful location for a wedding ceremony and/or reception. My husband and I were married in the gazebo outside of the mansion and then had our reception in Lemp Grand Hall. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Mary, the Lemp events coordinator was an amazing resource. She kept everything running smoothly and took care of all of the little details that I couldn’t possibly have dealt with on my wedding day. Her staff was courteous, attentive and detail-oriented. Both locations were gorgeous, well-kept and clean. The food was amazing. Our guests are still raving about how delicious everything on our buffet was. I got ready in the Lavender Suite with the mothers and bridesmaids. It’s a beautiful suite – perfect for pre-wedding pictures! My husband and I even stayed the night there, which was a lot of fun. I can’t believe how perfectly everything turned out, and I owe a lot to Lemp and its staff for my wedding day’s success!

Patty was who we worked with at the Lemp Grand Hall. She and everyone there was wonderful and we are still getting compliments on our choice of venue. We both describe the whole day as perfect.

We had our reception at the Lemp Grand Hall. The food was the talk of the reception! Everyone had enough to eat and we were given much more than we expected! The service provided by the staff was perfection. We did not have to worry about anything and everything seemed to run smoothly. They hosted a tasting which made us confident in the food.

What a fantastic and beautiful location to have a wedding and reception. Patty Pointer is an amazing person to work with and she made sure the entire day went smoothly.

I loved that it was so inclusive - venue, food, and the cake! It made my searching for caterers so much easier. I also loved the interior - all wood, exposed beams in the ceiling, and twinkle lights for soft lighting. I think it looked more expensive than it actually was.;You only have the choice of 4 cake designs - which wasn't a problem for me, but other people may care a great deal about that. They also miscalculated the bar costs at the end, but that was easily corrected.
