The venue was perfect size for us. Stacy was so accommodating and helpful for our decorations. Everything was very well organized and Stacy kept in contact us throughout the evening so we knew where we were with our offered beverages. I honestly cannot say enough great things about Stacy and The Links.

They cater through Wells catering and the chicken and pot roast were amazing, we have gotten so many compliments since. The views from inside and from the deck that goes off the room are perfect! hey were all out, the event manager Stacy went and got more. I had multiple lines of emails with Stacy as I asked her I’m sure what felt Like a million questions. She was so kind and patient with me as I figured out all the details. We can’t thank them enough for such a great night!

We also really liked how the venue was so flexible about decorations and other things we wanted, like a table of our own desserts. Stacy was so great to work with and very prompt about getting back to all our questions and accommodating our requests. One thing I really appreciated was her attention to detail - she really helped us keep track of some of the logistical details we forgot about. We had both our ceremony and reception at the Links and Stacy and the staff did a seamless job of flipping the room while the guests moved to a separate room for a short social hour. Wells Catering, who the venue is paired with, was fantastic as well! We got so many compliments on the food from our guests. Overall, we would highly recommend this venue for an intimate wedding!

As the Bride, you are already inundated with tons of questions, so it was amazing that Stacy either A. made an executive decision or B. Asked my mom or my personal attendant if questions happened to come up. I am happy to say that absolutely NOTHING went astray on our wedding day. So many people warned me that "something will go wrong, just expect it" - NOTHING, absolutely nothing went wrong and I credit a lot of that to Stacy and her impecable organization. The Links is absolutely beautiful! Our guests loved that they had access to the outdoor patio and we loved that we were the only party there, where as many venues will host multiple weddings on the same evening. The minimums were very reasonable compared to other venues and the caterer that The Links is partnered with (Wells Catering) was fantastic! We had SO MANY compliments on the venue and the food! Everything was perfect and if we were to do it all over again, we wouldn't hesitate at all in choosing The Links to host our reception!

ld have been nice to have another choice of vender for the food. But it was decent. I also really liked that we were able to bring in our dessert from any baker we chose. The Links was great overall! Love my pictures on the brigde and on the green at sunset.

rst paragraph is what we loved and the second was the few shortfalls. They went out of their way to help us and were very accommodating. The reception room is building as it comes lit (no need for a lighting package). They have a few options for decorations and we got votive candles as well as mirror center tiles for each table for a small price. They also were prepared with all the tables we would need for cake, gifts, head table, and dj. The food was amazing!! Our guests still talk about how much they liked the food and most people went back for 2nds or 3rds. They have a nice deck overlooking the balcony and we brought in a firetable from All Backyard Fun and guests were able spend time around the fire when it cooled down. The room was very large and has a bar and dance floor. They have a lot of parking. They were very flexible with cleaning and let us leave stuff there and pick it up the next morning. The view was beautiful as there are large windows that overlook the hilly golf course. The downfalls: It was a little farther for most guests to travel, but everyone said it was beautiful and worth the drive. They also didn't have any suggestions for dj and the dance floor isn't in a great location. The sound system isn't great, so we had to bring in speakers in order to hook up an ipod for music (but most dj's will provide that in their package, we didn't use a dj service) The bathroom is also shared with the rest of the golf club, but we hardly noticed anyone over there and our guests didn't seem to mind. There was also a few spiders on the large windows in the reception room.

The location is a gem of the northern suburbs, with a lighting package included and the prices were extremely reasonable for a budget wedding( especially for an recent college grad). I would definetely recommend this Northfork.

gance. they only they they ask is of no open flame candles or confetti. it was safe place, and they had a manager there on duty the whole time. the place is gorgeous! i would not change a thing. they were perfect to work with. The price was reasonable and i would recommended the Links to everyone! Also- i give all decorating credit to Grande Elegance who made my dream wedding come true!

Most important, the price was extremely affordable compared to other golf courses of this quality. Not to mention, our experience with Stacy Gerster was very pleasurable throughout the process. She responded very quickly to all our inquiries and was able to work in all our special requests (like dropping off decorations Friday night even though they had a wedding). The hall is contracted with Wells Catering, but we had great feedback on our food, even though we went with the least expensive pasta buffet option. In hindsight, I'm so pleased we chose the Links at Northfork, which ended up being the perfect fit for us.

o the wedding all of my questions and concerns were quickly answered and attended to, and I asked A LOT of them! For such a reasonable price we did not have high expectations out of the service staff and food, but we were AMAZED the day of the wedding that everyone was so well served and the food was delicious. A number of our friends and family said that hands down, best wedding food ever. The total cost was very close to the low end of the range shown in this review and for our slim budget we were not only able to pay for dinner, but also chair covers and sashes, FULL BAR all evening including wine pour during dinner, and late night pizza. Our wedding day was even better than expected. Thank you Links!
