Absolutely wonderful experience! Everyone was so helpful, kind and patient. Recommend this location to everyone.
This venue was absolutely perfect! Our attendants were so helpful and professional and just so sweet. They always listened to any concerns I had and gave great suggestions to an troubleshooting we had. They truly made my day feel special and unique!!
This place was amazing! Great place to take pics and the people were so helpful!
As an alumna, having my wedding ceremony here was a dream come true! Nobody needs me to tell them how absolutely beautiful the space is - I didn’t bring in a single flower or ribbon of decoration and just let the chapel speak for itself and had zero regrets. Everyone we worked with, including our day-of attendant Maria, was wonderful, helpful, and kind. Absolutely would recommend it!
Note: We had a very large wedding party (seven on each side) - working out positioning was tricky, but gratefully one of my bridesmaids was able to help us figure it out because her sister got married there years before - my Google Maps review has pictures if anyone else is having this issue!!
We were married at the end of March 2022. Our original wedding date had been scheduled for March 28, 2020. Pretty much the same time that the Governor began shutting things down in Texas because of COVID. We had to reschedule our wedding several times, but the venue and the people were very supportive and helpful throughout it all. When our special day finally came, it was how I had always dreamed it. As a TWU alumni, I had dreamed of getting married in The Little Chapel someday. The Chapel is stunning and requires no decorating; it stands beautifully on its own. The grounds and garden surrounding the Chapel are lovely and provided ample locations for photos. The Chapel attendant was very attentive, helpful, calm and patient. Highly recommend this location. It's perfect for a small chapel wedding.
The chapel was beautiful, we did not need to do much decorating for our ceremony. The staff were very helpful and responsive throughout our whole experience. This is a unique and wonderful location to have your wedding.
This is a magical place to get married, they were very organized and made everything go very smoothly, I definitely recommend getting married in this gorgeous chapel , our photos are amazing
Wedding planning during the pandemic has been heartbreaking and hard, but Brittany Jasper-Hunter really made our experience wonderful and lovely. Every step of the way she went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. She was understanding and helpful when we delayed our original wedding date. When we rescheduled she worked with us to make it lovely and memorable. We already knew the chapel was beautiful, but it really was the coordinator that made it.
My husband and I are both alumni- we were so proud to show how much we love TWU and the campus to our family and friends. Glad people like Brittany are working hard to make TWU the wonderful place it has always been to us.
We were so glad we booked this venue. Originally we wanted an outdoor wedding, but given the unpredictability of Texas weather in December, we decided we needed an indoor option (we were really glad we did, as it poured the entire day until a beautiful sunset and rainbow came out at the end). It was perfect. The chapel is very intimate, so we had about 100 people there who filled up with pews with their love. The windows and architecture are gorgeous. Furthermore, the coordinator there, Brittany, was willing to help us with anything we wanted, and it was a really reasonable price.
We used The Little Chapel in the Woods for our wedding and could not have been happier. They were flexible and accommodating to any wedding day and rehearsal requests or issues. The Chapel was gorgeous and affordable. We loved this place and would recommend it to anyone!
The Little Chapel In The Woods was a beautiful experience. I’m glad we chose them as our wedding venue. From the stain glass windows, the cozy/warm feeling, the lighting, and just the atmosphere in general. The staff was awesome from booking, to following up, till the day of, and even afterwards. I would definitely recommend choosing them as a venue. It was easy to find and the parking was good. And just to be there with the history of it was breathe taking as well. TWU has all the equipment needed to play music, candle lighting if that’s what you are doing, and so much more. Definitely go pay them a visit during the week and weekend to see for yourself. Owe and the vast amount of beautiful pictures you can take there as well is a plus.
Beautiful Ballroom. Great food from Aramark - TWU Catering services!!! Michael was great it making sure everything we needed was set up for us.
The venue is beautiful! There was confusion on rehearsal time with staff and no confirmation on new time. We also were not about to test sound system before our big day. We give 4 stars for price and venue.
Love Love Love this chapel!
I was set on having a small intimate wedding, but was limited on venues because we were having a Catholic ceremony (and my church was booked on our possible dates). The Little Chapel in the Woods was the perfect location because it is an actual parish. I got the beautiful church experience - with my priest officiating - and didn't feel swamped like we would have in a large cathedral.
One of the biggest perks is how affordable the chapel is. We hardly had to spend any money on decorations because it is so pretty just as is. After the ceremony we took pictures in the gardens instead of driving offsite to find an attractive location, so that saved time, too! I would recommend this to anyone getting married in Denton.
We LOVED having our wedding at the Lil Chapel in the Woods. We got so many compliments about how beautiful it all looked. Everyone was asking how did you find this place. It will always be a very special place to us!
Using the TWU Little Chapel-in-the-Woods was like hiring wedding coordinators for both my venues (chapel and reception hall) for free. Deborah (Conference Services) and Kezi (Aramark Catering) were both so helpful and answered my literally hundreds of e-mails over the course of 6 months, always within 48 hours and as kindly as possible. The chapel was gorgeous and didn't need any decoration at all, especially with the candles they provided. I would highly recommend this venue. It fit perfectly into my vintage wedding!
