We loved supporting this woman-owned bakery for our rehearsal dinner cake. We can’t recommend Little Things bakery enough for their cakes! It was a really fun cake tasting with a lot of options (both cake and frosting choices). We liked the various vegan options. They made an almond poppy seed cake special for us that was delicious!! We could have definitely ordered a bigger cake based on how much everyone loved it.

Thank you Little Things Bakery!! Their cakes are delicious! We loved having 2 flavors (chocolate and lemon!). Their prices were very reasonable and were extremely professional.

We selected The Little Things Bakery for our wedding cake, and we were so happy with our choice! It was hard to choose a flavor at our cake tasting, since they were all so good. They were seriously the best tasting cakes my husband and I have ever had- and we are picky! Leah and Celia are both so kind and easy to work with, and our cake was delicious. They also have cupcakes, eclairs, cream puffs, and dessert bar options, which we ordered for our reception. They even will re-create the top tier of your wedding cake on your one year anniversary for $10- such a special service!

We chose The Little Things Bakery for our wedding cake and they did not dissapoint! The entire experience was so easy! Our tasting was fun and delicious, the ladies that work here are so friendly. We ended up ordering a 3 tier cake with gold leaf and it was so beautiful! The flavors were great, everything was moist and delicious. We also ordered cupcakes in various flavors like lemon and carrot because everything was so tasty! Love supporting local business like this. They did a wonderful job with our wedding cake!

We ordered our wedding cake from Chooket for our wedding in Santa Barbara at the suggestion of our wedding planner. We were looking for an affordable cake and I cannot tell you how many compliments that we received!! The cake was AMAZING and I only wish that I could have enjoyed it more. We ordered a two-tiered cake for 30 people that we used for photos and sheet cake that was sliced and served to accommodate the rest of our guests of our 150 guests. The cake was incredible and we could not recommend Chooket more!

We ordered our cakes from Chooket (formerly Your Cake Baker) in Santa Barbara. We had such a wonderful experience from the cake tasting to our actual wedding. We liked so many of their flavors, we ended up ordering three different kinds for the wedding, and everyone loved them! Karine and her husband are lovely, and easy to work with. They just want to make sure you are happy, and we definitely were. They did a wonderful job and I'd highly recommend ordering your next cake for any occasion from Chooket!

We worked with Leah at Your Cake Baker/Chooket for our wedding cake and it couldn't have been easier. From tasting to paperwork to delivery...all of it was painless and the results were fantastic. Other than the fact their name is confusing and a bit weird I would recommend them to anyone who needs special event cakes!

Your Cake Baker was fantastic! I saw them at a bridal show in Santa Barbara and sampled the cupcakes. My oh my were they delicious! From the friendliness of their staff to the deliciousness, I knew they were who I wanted to do my wedding cake and cupcakes. So many of my guests told me how good they were and that they had never had such good cupcakes. Their communication was also great and Celia replied to my emails in a timely manner. Thank you for helping make my wedding a dream come true! For anyone in need of cakes or cupcakes, I would highly recommend Your Cake Baker.

We used Your Cake Baker for our Sept 2015 wedding and they were fantastic! They were very easy to book an appt with and the cupcake tastings were so much fun. Leading up to the big day, they were very responsive and super helpful with answering random questions that I had along the way. On the day of, the cupcakes were delicious and super fresh! I would definitely recommend Your Cake Baker to all brides or anyone who just really appreciates great cake!!!

Our cake for two was absolutely beautiful, and tasted delicious...super moist, unique in flavor (due to our specific tastes) which went beyond our expectations! Absolutely topped our night, and special day!

Wayne Kjar makes delicious cakes at good prices. Every flavor we tried was delicious and they had so many different options for decorating the cake. I brought in a picture of what I wanted my cake to look like and it came out better than the picture. Wayne is super nice and really cared about making our day special and he did. Would recommend for any occasion and definitely going back for my 1st anniversary.

I posted this review on wedding wire but as someone who recently got married - online reviews were so important in my vendor search. We worked with Ana who was absolutely amazing - so kind and so helpful! We had our reception at the Hyatt so part of our package included a wedding cake from Your Cake Baker (Wayne Kjar cakes). We ended up going with 4 layers and 2 different flavors - the marble cake with the raspberry Bavarian cream filling and lemon with Bavarian cream filling. The cake ... was AMAZING. So moist, so fluffy, so full of flavor - PHENOMENAL. They really worked with my (now) husband and I on the shape - the design - and everything. We were very new to the process and were not exactly sure what we wanted so it was so nice to have their help. Everyone absolutely loved the cake (design and flavors) - and they even worked with us to include ribbons in our colors and our cake toppers. The piping looked beautiful and the finished product was perfect. We could not have asked or hoped for a better looking or tasting cake. A+!

Wayne Kjar and his team made our wedding cake and it was outstanding. YourCakeBaker has the best cakes in Santa Barbara. They are also really easy to work with!

Wayne Kjar was FANTASTIC. Our cake basically disappeared as soon as the coffee was poured. We went with a two tier, one flavor each, cake, and we're very fortunate that our caterer put aside a piece of each flavor for us!! We weren't quite sure about how big the cake needed to be, but the staff at Your Cake Baker really helped us make the right decisions. Nothing went to waste, and everyone enjoyed. They even assembled our Groom's Cake - stacked Oreos to look like a tiered cake - for a very reasonable labor fee. I was very happy to have one less thing to worry about!! We look forward to getting our birthday cakes, anniversary cakes...basically any cake, from Wayne Kjar in the future.

I did a dessert spread/table instead of a cake and Katie did an incredible job. Not only was everything delicious but it looked absolutely amazing. She does a beautiful job. Highly recommended!

They made us a beautiful wedding cake for dollars cheaper per slice than other bakeries! We got so many compliments on the cake, and had so many of our guests tell us it was the best wedding cake they've ever had. Every single slice got eaten, and we saw our guests going back for seconds!

Our cake was a great success thanks to Wayne Kjar cakes and Wayne himself. I'll be honest. We weren't blown away by our first tasting, which was huddled into the kitchen on a rainy day and just a couple of flavors. This is the only reason service was 4 stars instead of 5. It was definitely 5-star service once we selected Wayne as our baker. But we're so glad our wedding coordinator encouraged us to go back. In addition to some chocolate with chocolate mousse layers (moist, decadent and a crowd pleaser), Wayne worked with us to create a custom flavor: coconut cake with a lime bavarian cream filling. It was wonderful! They make great cakes. We also worked with him to get the cake design just right, and we were impressed with the outcome. Friends said I looked more excited when I saw our cake than when I first saw my future husband on our wedding day.

By far, the best-priced cake in town. The cake turned out beautifully. We wanted something subtle and elegant. Wayne Kjar delivered. I thought the cake itself was a little on the sweet side, but for the price it was perfect.

Katie and an amazing baker and chef! She created and beautiful masterpiece for our wedding. Not to mention, the taste is to die for! My guests raved about the yummy cake! She's a sweet lady and is passionate!

Wayne Kjar has been a family favorite ever since he did my brother's wedding cake two years ago - we order his cakes all the time and they never disappoint. We happened to order our cake when they were having an anniversary sale so the price we received was incredible. Even if we had to pay full price, we would have use Wayne Kjar. They made a beautiful cake exactly like our picture (vision) and the taste was amazing, as always. We highly recommend the white cake with raspberry Bavarian cream filling and buttercream frosting. We have eaten that same cake for years and it is the best cake I have ever had...and I am not a big cake person.

I have to say, if you'd asked me six months ago what rating I would give this place, I think I would have told you four or five stars. So what happened? We came for a tasting in August for my march wedding. The tasting was delicious - I went with three flavors of French macaroons, a bottom layer rum cake and top layer white cake with raspberry and custard filing. They give you a small discount on the total price if you pay in full up front. So we did. I walked them through exactly the designs I wanted on my cake and was told no problem, no extra charge. About a month before my wedding my coordinator started trying to lock down a delivery time. No response. I started calling. No response. They just wouldn't return our phone calls. I finally got my order confirmed the Tuesday before my wedding, so I figured all was well. When my mom dropped off the design elements, the woman working starting complaining that she didn't realize how much work it would be, blah blah blah. Luckily my mom got out of there before the woman could shake my mom down for more money. Then, wedding day. I had cupcakes done by Sugar Cat which were so amazing and beautiful and the cake, which I was so looking forward to, was lackluster. They just didn't honor my vision with the design elements I supplied. So even though the cake tasted fine, if I was doing this again I would skip the cake or have someone else do it. I wouldn't recommend this place to any of my other 8 friends who are getting married this year... weddings are hard enough and stressful enough - a bride should pick someone easy to work with who she feels she can trust, and this place just doesn't fit that bill.

I went for the bargain cake and it was beautiful and the best cake I've ever tasted. It was simple and beautiful. The delivered on time and the cake looked just as I expected. They replaced the cake company that was provided in my hotel package, Montecito Confections. They didn't open their shop for my cake tasting so I had to scramble and found Wayne Kjar and they did great!

Katie was the sweetest person to work with! We described what we wanted and she designed it exactly as we asked. The cake tasting was wonderful and we went with a chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and whole raspberries because we love fruit topped with a whipped cream frosting. It was perfect and I would definitely work with her again!

Our cake turned out so beautiful from Wayne Kjar cakes. They did a great job and were so friendly to work with. We also loved the cake stand they used with our cake.

We had our wedding in Santa Barbara, but we live on the east coast, therefore everything has to be organized over the phone and email. We didn't have the opportunity to taste our cake or any other cakes from the bakery for that matter. So, I was a little nervous, but it al turned out great. I talked to Anna on the phone and Wayne and they were very helpful with what we wanted. It was very important that the cake tasted good and it was delicious. We chose that they had on their website, and we improvised a little, which was no problem. We had a beautiful, tasty cake that didn't cost ridiculous amounts of money.

This cake tasted excellent and looked beautiful! This company was great to deal with, from the tasting to the delivery of the cake. This was the best tasting cake we found anywhere in Santa Barbara!
