Cutting to the chase right away - The Lobby is a wonderful venue and I'm so glad we booked it. My partner and I chose The Lobby for a few reasons: competitive pricing, flexible ind...oor/outdoor space, it's a restaurant - so guaranteed hot & good food, and downtown Denver location. Christian and his team more than delivered. It could not have gone better from my perspective. The courtyard looked absolutely gorgeous, it flowed seamlessly, and I have received so many compliments on how delicious the food was (country fried chicken non-traditional buffet + mac n cheese). I LOVED the signature spicy watermelon marg that Christian thought of for our pink-themed wedding. I have also received compliments on how great the staff was. We had just under 100 guests, and had more than enough space, with some folks eating inside and some outside. There are many configurations for tables. We brought in a dance floor for the patio space, which The Lobby easily accommodated. Since The Lobby serves brunch up to 4pm over the weekend, we did need to coordinate deliveries around specific time windows, and our ceremony started at 6pm. This was not hard - just required some thought and planning. We did bring in a day of coordinator, who helped it all happen without us having to do really any work day of. 6-10:30pm did not feel rushed in any way... To sum up, what we didn't want was a stuffy space that cranks out weddings with no consideration for us - having to bring in different vendors for food + alcohol + linens, tables, mics. Many of these little bits and pieces can be booked through The Lobby, but you also have the flexibility to bring in the vendors you want. We wanted a down to earth party spot for our loved ones who came in from out of town. If you are like us - you will be blown away by the charm of The Lobby and their execution on your special day.
