Hey there! I'm Stefanie, and I'm the owner of the Local Petal. I have loved working with flowers since I got a part time job in a floral shop to pay the bills during college at MSU Mankato. I worked at that shop for 10 years until my husband and I bought our home in the cities, and I began my journey with the Local Petal. We have two beautiful little girls and three big dogs that keep our house busy, and I wouldn't have it any other way! Being a florist is my passion; trust me - I've tried other things and always come back to creating with flowers!

We were so impressed and thankful for the bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and table displays that The Local Petal prepared for us. We received so many comments from our guests and wedding party as to how great our floral arrangements looked, and we were so excited as to how well they turned out. The flowers were gorgeous, the arrangements were perfect, and they stood out for their uniqueness and colors. We're so excited for our photos to come back and to see the florals displayed in them :)
We appreciate how easy Stefanie Spear, the Owner, made things easy to work though during the entire process over the last months. We never had worries. Stefanie made everything easy, and delivered as promised.

The Local Pedal went above and beyond with our wedding florals! I came to her last minute (about a month before the wedding), and she made the magic happen. Her communication was clear, and quick with responses. She made time to meet with me and answer any amd all of my silly questions. She listened to what I wanted from my florals, and delivered even better than I imagined. We used bud vases for the dinner tables, she was able to take those from us early, and then delivered on the morning of, ready to go. She was on time, and communicated well with my coordinators.
I would use her over and over again! As well as recommend her to anyone looking for florals!

We planned our wedding from a distance so had to just trust that our florist would put something nice together. Stefanie was great to communicate with, and I loved her process. We gave her some ideas, and then she proposed, with pictures, a range of flowers she could include. We gave feedback (on her already nice proposal), and she made it even better. The final products, both for our arrangements and my bouquet, surpassed my expectations. They were stunning, unique, smelled amazing, and received tons of complements. So glad we chose the Local Petal.

We were so happy to have The Local Petal as our wedding day florist! Stephanie did an excellent job of bring our floral vision to life and keeping it affordable. She delivered bouquets, boutineers, centerpieces, and statement pieces which were all highly complimented by our guests. We would highly recommend her!

Stef was such an amazing florist! Very professional and always had great communication. My flowers couldn’t have looked better and I got so many compliments on them. She also met with my mom and I before even signing the contract. 10/10 would recommend her and her business to everyone!

AMAZING! I had always dreamed of having Lilacs in my wedding and Stefanie made it happen without hesitation whereas other florists I reached out to couldn't supply them. She was so prompt, patient and slipped in and out of the venue like a fairy and left stunning flowers in her wake.

Stephanie did amazing. Everything was gorgeous and we got lots of complements! The photo boards she put together gave us a great idea of how everything would look and it was spot on. She took care of our special requests to mix in herbs like rosemary and lavender. She then smoothly managed a last minute snag with extra tables (my fault) and balanced everything out. Highly recommend!!!
