Perfect caterer for a delicious, comfort-food centered wedding! Our food was amazing and the staff was so kind and helpful. We received endless compliments on the mac and cheese (t...
ry it!).
I hired Backyard Bistro off of online reviews for a rehearsal dinner for 90 people at our location. I give them a rating of 5+ out of 5. The staff was extremely friendly and was ...
very concerned that everything was up to our expectations. They asked several times throughout the night if we were satisfied and if there was anything that needed to be addressed, which there was not. The food was great, so good that guests kept on coming up to us and praising how good the food was. I was extremely happy and only wished I was able to eat more because it was so good. Their personnel were very friendly and the trays of food were always full so much so that no one ever had to wait for them to bring out more food. They replenished the trays whenever they saw them getting low. The bartender was very accommodating and completely took care of the bar. If I ever have another event in the area, they will be the first one I contact.
I am so glad we went with Backyard Bistro as our wedding caterer! Eileen made the process incredibly smooth and easy at every step of the way. We had a buffet and our guests really...
loved the food! The staff that came were very professional and responsive to what was happening. We also hired our bartenders through them, which made everything nice and easy. They served the beer and wine we bought ourselves. I highly recommend Backyard Bistro! Their service and food really made our day even better!
The food was amazing and their prices were reasonable. Additionally, the caterers were great at making some last minute changes and easy to work with. I was confident they had ever...

asual, light, southern cuisine for our June wedding so we went with their pulled pork, roasted turkey breast, green beans, fruit, garden salad and hush puppies. The food was better than I remembered at the tasting- especially the pulled pork! Eileen was my main point of contact and I cannot say enough good things about her; very attentive to detail, easy to reach and quick to respond. She was very helpful during the entire planning process and was always willing to provide suggestions. Along with Eileen, the team she brought with her was also amazing. From the talented cook, friendly wait staff to awesome bartenders we could not have been more pleased. Everyone contributed to a great day and night for us and we are truly thankful!
We choose Backyard Bistro as our wedding caterer. My family is not local to the area, and when I mentioned this, they allowed us to come to their restaurant and try our proposed we...
dding meal. They were great to us throughout the sampling, and wonderful during our actual reception. The portion sizes were generous, the food was hot, and the staff were really great to my husband and I, fixing our plates and bringing us anything we needed throughout the night. Our guests thought everything was delicious, and my family was delighted with the choice.
We were so pleased with Joe and Backyard Bistro!! Backyard Bistro provided our out-of-town rehearsal dinner catering in Richmond, VA.
Having done a lot of traveling to Raleigh ...
and eating at Backyard Bistro quite a bit, we knew how amazing the food and the staff was! When we decided that we wanted a "backyard barbeque" as our rehearsal dinner, we were hopeful that Backyard Bistro would be willing to make the 3 hour trek to Richmond for us - and they were!!
Joe and his crew made it to town right on schedule - and cooked us up a feast that was nothing short of amazingly tasty! Everyone there commented on the pulled pork being literally the BEST pulled pork they had ever had! The salt potatoes, the green beans... The whole buffet was a huge hit!!!
I give an enthusiastic 5-star rating for Backyard Bistro... Highly recommend!
Backyard Bistro catered our wedding and did a fantastic job. We did a buffet style and they set it up beautifully and they provided servers to clear tables and help with trash. The...
chefs there are top notch and the catering staff is very professional. They also were great about letting us personalize our menu and also with fitting into the budget we want. I had specific requests about certain dishes and they did a great job.
They can do it all. Redneck to Formal! They were able to capture a little of it all for us. The food was wonderful. He was able to capture what we needed for our guest from the mou...
ntains and from the beach and everyone in between. We really wanted to something for everyone and they did a wonderful job of taking our vision and going with it. I never had to worry that some thing was not going to go right. They were there and made it all look wonderful and everyone was excited to see that there were many options. Top off all the great food, they were more than accommodating with our schedules to meet and go over things. They were friendly to all of our guest and helped more with what they had to do all night. My family and I would recommend them to anyone. They are now doing my brothers wedding as well as two others that attended the wedding. They are great to work with with an amazing staff.
