My husband and I got married at The Lodge at Blue Sky in September 2024, and we could not give higher praise to the venue, the staff and the entire experience!
First, on the venue. Blue Sky lays on an incredible piece of land nestled in the Wasatch mountains--the views were absolutely spectacular! We were married in a meadow near the top of the property, and were absolutely blown away by the scenery. Then, there is the hotel itself as well as the facilities and amenities. The term "5-Star" is thrown around a lot these days, but everything was truly world class. Our guests were blown away by every inch of Blue Sky--the hiking, clay shooting, spa and so much more! Wedding or not, this property is a must visit.
Next, there's the staff. From the beginning stages of touring the property (shout out to Cait Dintamin!), to the planning, coordination of lodging, logistics of the weekend, and so much more, the entire staff was so thoughtful and made sure our weekend was exceedingly special. Small touches, customizations and thoughtful service is the name of the game here. Joe (general manager), Hannah (event manager), and Guillermo (executive chef) and many more were nothing short of on top of their game. And a special shoutout to the entire kitchen staff for the meals prepared during our wedding weekend. I can't begin to tell you how many guests told us that the food they were served was the best they had ever had at a wedding--by far!
Which leads to the experience. Whether you're looking to plan a wedding or simply have a relaxing getaway near the mountains, you'd be hard pressed to find a better place than The Lodge at Blue Sky. Everything was truly incredible--every staff member you interact with is thoughtful and intentional, with your comfort in mind, and the possibilities of how you can spend your time there are endless.
Our wedding was the best weekend of our life (so far!), and its in large part due to the team at Blue Sky. For the "too long, didn't read" crowd, I'll simply say this: get married at Blue Sky! You truly won't regret it!

My husband and I hosted our wedding at Blue Sky this past summer and were blown away by the impeccable service and beautiful landscape. We're from Salt Lake and had no idea this place existed until I started searching for a local venue. Everything was perfect and the staff is top notch. Cait and Hannah are a dream team, the activities and spa staff are amazing, and the food is fantastic. We highly recommend Blue Sky resort.
We've loved our experience with Cait and the whole Blue Sky team. We instantly loved both the arena and the outdoor terrace, both of which could accommodate our large guest list (unlike a lot of other venues we checked out).
The Chef and his team were super-receptive to our menu ideas and everything we tried at our tasting was superb.
Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we've had to postpone our planned summer wedding, but the Blue Sky team has been incredibly flexible and patient as we navigate so much uncertainty. Looking forward to celebrating at Blue Sky very soon.
I have yet to actually have my wedding at Blue Sky Ranch (Arena), but I am so confident in this venue and their staff that I feel the need to write this review now. I am a #Coronabride and the Events Team has been nothing but understanding, flexible, patient & most importantly - kind. We had to reschedule our May 2020 Wedding due to the current pandemic, and the team at Blue Sky has been insanely responsive and accomodating with all of the last-minute changes. There is so much unknown at these times, it can be daunting and scary, so it is truly a Godsend to be working with such a stellar team of professionals.
Wow, what an amazing place for our autumn wedding. The Arena is outrageously beautiful and was a great space for our 150 guests (who were all blown away by it) and the patio out back was perfect for our outdoor ceremony. LeAnne and her team were accommodating during the whole planning process and Lane made sure the big day went off without a hitch. Very highly recommended!
