My husband and I were on the hunt for the perfect wedding venue, and let me tell you, Fredericksburg has some amazing options! We stumbled upon The Lodge at Country Inn Cottages, and it was seriously a game-changer.
First off, the place is gorgeous. It's got that perfect Texas Hill Country vibe, with beautiful views and cozy cottages. What really sold us was the atmosphere – it felt so intimate and special, not like some stuffy ballroom.
The staff was super friendly and helpful, and they made the whole planning process a breeze. Our guests loved the cottages, and we had the best time celebrating with our family and friends. We just got married here, this was the best choice we could’ve possibly ever made!!!
The venue, the chapel, and the whole atmosphere was absolutely amazing.
I love the whole experience I had with Amy and Jeff because they were so helpful and so accommodating.
Also, the cabins were so precious, and I can’t wait to get back there for a one year anniversary!!!

This venue provided everything we wanted for our dream wedding day! Jeff and Amy were always on top of any request made during the wedding planning process, and they responded in a timely manner. The Lodge allowed us to celebrate with our family and friends the entire weekend by having everyone stay in one place. This is the best venue to book if you want to spend more than a few hours with your invited guests. The Lodge was the perfect location for our October country wedding!!

The Lodge was a dream venue! Jeff and Amy were both amazing to work with and answered our (many) questions, always timely and with wonderful attitudes. Jeff (owner) even personally ran to Walmart during our reception to buy a couple bottles of mosquito spray after recent rains. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, we used the chapel for our ceremony, and the venue both indoor and outdoor for our reception. We got so many compliments from our guests about how nice it was to be able to stay on property in the cabins. We have absolutely zero complaints and wouldn’t change a thing about our day. This is the place to be!

My wife and I got married here last month and our wedding day was absolutely wonderful with this venue. Starting with the owner, Jeff, who was really visible and helpful. He stopped by the day before during our set up as well as the day after during the clean up to answer questions and help make sure things were going smoothly. He also helped get us set up with the audio system from our phones. During the many months of wedding planning, Amy M with the venue was amazing. She is very responsive via email. She responds quickly and was always answering questions and giving us information/advice on various aspects of the wedding and planning process. The grounds themselves are absolutely beautiful. The venue is situated a short drive from downtown Fredericksburg which is convenient, but it still manages to feel secluded in the best way. There is so much beautiful nature, with lots of deer and cows that roam the grounds. Jeff even spread out some of the feed in front of the chapel on our wedding day, so the cows were front and center in front of the chapel. This was so fun for our guests and really added to the Texas ranch feeling (as well as being adorable!). The beautiful scenery was the perfect backdrop for our newlywed photos. The chapel is new and has a simple beauty to it, and it doesn’t need much decor or florals if you don’t want. We kept it simple with basic florals and some bows, and it was gorgeous. The windows let in so much natural light which really helped our photos turn out stunning. The reception hall is just a short walk away and was the perfect size for our guest count of about 100 people. It easily accommodated the necessary number of tables for guests and the buffet as well as the DJ, cake table, photo booth, head table, welcome table etc. while still allowing us to have a roomy dance floor. The bridal suite could get a little tight if you have a large bridal party or large hair/makeup team, but fit my 5 bridesmaids and beauty team comfortably. The cabins on site were the perfect arrangement for our guests, who were all coming from pretty far out of town or out of state. It allowed us to gather the day/night before the wedding and spend some extra time together for my husband and my extended families to meet. The cabins are also walkable to the reception hall, which meant no one was worrying about driving after the reception, so everyone was able to be in full party mode! We had such a great experience here!

We can not say enough good things about the Lodge! We chose the lodge as our first decision in the wedding process and it set the tone for everything else! We did both our rehearsal welcome party and our reception at the lodge and our guests cannot stop raving about both of them! The lighting and vibes were perfect. And It was so nice to have our people stay close in the cabins, it made it feel like we really got to actually see and spend time with our guests throughout the weekend. We worked closely with Jeff the owner and Amy who are both extremely helpful and professional. Anything we needed they took care of!

We truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding! From the very beginning, communication with Jeff and Amy was absolutely wonderful—they were responsive, kind, and made everything feel seamless.
The property itself is stunning. We fell in love with the open-air glass door chapel the moment we saw it—such a magical and peaceful setting to say "I do." The reception lodge was equally beautiful and gave us the perfect space to celebrate with all of our loved ones.
Our family adored the on-site cabins—they were cozy, convenient, and such a fun part of the weekend experience. Everyone was raving about them!
If we could do it all over again, we absolutely would. We’re so grateful for this unforgettable venue and the memories we’ll cherish forever.

Every minute was absolutely perfect! Amazing place for our big day. Our families have not stopped talking about the whole weekend! Amy and Jeff had great communication and every question big or small was answered to help with planning! I highly recommend The Lodge for your wedding and the cottage on site are perfect for turning the big day into a weekend you will never forget!

The most magical place to get married! Everything at The Lodge was so beautiful and we got so many compliments about the venue. Our family loved getting to all be near each other in the cabins and truly get to enjoy our time without rushing to other places since the venue is within walking distance of the cabins. We can’t wait to continue to celebrate here for many years to come! Jeff and Amy made the process so simple. Can’t recommend enough!

The venue feels secluded, yet it’s just 15 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg. The chapel is beautiful and the reception and cocktail areas were perfect for our needs. The Lodge at Country Inn Cottages is the perfect venue for anyone who wants to spend quality time with their loved ones during their wedding! My family rented out the entire facility (40+ cabins) and had our rehearsal dinner on site next to the cute cabins at the top of the hill. My ceremony took place in the most beautiful chapel. Through the long weekend we golfed, shopped, hiked, and visited wineries! So so many incredible memories with my husband and I’s loved ones!
Amy and Donna were incredible to work with, and all of the vendors suggested by the venue/Donna were amazing! Highly recommend having your wedding here! Can’t wait to go back for an anniversary :)

Our wedding weekend at The Lodge could not have been more perfect and this is coming from someone with very high expectations and extreme attention to detail. From the moment we drove onto the property and met with the owner, Jeff, we knew it was the place we wanted to get married. We planned our 3-day wedding event for 18 months and Jeff and Amy answered every question and request promptly and with professionalism. The staff at the Country Inn Cottages treated us like family and Jeanett, Aaron, and Tara are A+. They took great care in managing guest reservations, organizing smooth check-ins, and providing a first class experience. Our guests traveled from all over the country and stayed in the 44 on-site cabins. The location 5 miles from Main Street provided access to shopping and entertainment with a relaxing and peaceful setting on 200 acres in the Texas Hill Country. Everyone absolutely loved the charming cabins and commented on how well they slept in the tranquil environment. The socialized deer came right up to your cabin if you offered them corn. We rented Cabin 5 which served as our home base and staging area. The 48 hour venue rental was ideal to avoid the Saturday set-up stress. The cabins were all occupied by our party so we held our Friday night welcome event in the courtyard with food and beverage trucks and an acoustic guitar set. My husband is still talking about how much fun the guys had at their onsite skeet shooting adventure on Saturday morning! The event center accommodated our 100 guests, numerous food stations, Processo cart, water color sketch artists, and dueling pianos. Last year, they made our dreams come true and built a gorgeous white chapel next to the event center.
We were able to plan our wedding from
Houston thanks to our best-in-the-business wedding coordinator, Donna Solbrig. We worked with Donna for 18 months and she helped us navigate every step. All her recommendations were spot on and she runs a tight logistical ship. We will always be grateful for the magical experience gifted to us and our family and friends by The Lodge. We now have new lifelong friends and a place to visit that holds one of our most cherished memories.

The Lodge was a beautiful place and created a beautiful atmosphere for me and my husbands big day! The chapel was adorable, the reception lodge was a great space as well. Communications with the venue owner and manager was quick and transparent. They also recommended a wedding coordinator who helped execute all of our visions the day of. If you are looking for a great space, with on site lodging (super cute cottages to fit everyone!), with beautiful nature to complement, I say look no further!

From the moment we got in contact with them to the wedding itself, they were friendly, helpful, clear, straight forward and everything was done with an extraordinary level of care and detail. The venue itself is beautiful, and the brand new chapel was a surprise that was only built after we actually booked! Both Jeff and Amy were excellent communicators and I believe what we got for the price was unparalleled. This was the only venue we ever looked at because it was everything we wanted- the main lodge, the chapel, the grounds and the cottages on the property- all gave us the wedding of our dreams! Our wedding was November 4th at the lodge and it by far surpassed my expectations. Jeff and Amy Mazurek exceeded our expectations in every single way. It was a fairytale wedding from the incredible chapel to the beautiful reception. I highly recommend the Lodge at country Inn cottages.

I can't say enough about Jeff Mazurek and Amy Mazurek with The Lodge at Country Inn and Cottages. Amy and Jeff helped to made our daughters wedding an incredible experience from start to finish. The location and venue are nothing short of amazing! There were enough cabins available on the property to allow over 120 of our guests to actually stay on-site for the entire weekend.
From the glass chapel, reception hall with a Bose sound system and an outdoor patio... they had everything we needed to make the Carello-Mardaga wedding and reception an event to remember. It's days later and we are still getting calls and emails from guests that can't stop talking about it. Go down to Fredericksburg and visit this place. You'll be glad you did!

The Lodge is the perfect Hill Country wedding venue where your guests can stay and enjoy the property and the beauty of Fredericksburg. We immediately fell in love with the venue and knew it would be perfect for our wedding weekend. If you are looking for a venue to create your own style and choose your own vendors then this is the place. Our family and friends stayed onsite in the cutest of cabins. We opted for an outside wedding and cocktail hour and then seated dinner and dance inside. It was the most spectacular, romantic day - everything we dreamed of. Jeff and Amy are super easy to work with and communication was never an issues.

I really liked that we were able to decorate the afternoon before the wedding. It would have been nice to be able to get in there prior to 3 pm, (as per their policy) but we were able to get everything done because we had so many sweet people there to help us out. The owner explained that because of liability issues he could no longer have the elk on premises. However, my son bought a lot of corn in order to have them in the background for wedding photos and was not notified about the change prior to his arrival. That was one of the selling points for both bride and groom. They both wanted the wildlife in the background. My husband and I stayed in cabin 5. I loved how the whole family could congregate in the large living room. I think with a few updates, this could be an awesome cabin. New floors-the carpeting throughout was old and needed replacing. The bathroom connected to the master has NO privacy because the accordion door isn't wide enough to cover from side to side-no longer functioning correctly. Considering the comfy bed faced the toilet...
I liked the wood burning stove in the living room-it was cold outside on our visit. All in all, it was a great time for everyone.

We really enjoyed our stay during Scott and Angie Persyn’s wedding ! Cabins are lovely , and perfectly accommodating . Loved sitting on porch and watching all the deer.
Rehearsal was cold , but setup so perfectly so we all stayed warm!
Wedding venue was so beautiful , inside and outside . One of the most beautiful weddings ever !

We had the best weekend ever at Angela and Scott’s wedding at The Lodge and Country Inn Cottages. The cottages are super cute and very well appointed. The venue itself is beautiful! If you are looking for a gorgeous sprawling space all to yourselves in Texas Hill Country, this is the venue for you!

The minute we found this venue we had high hopes that it would be exactly what we wanted to fulfill our wedding weekend dreams. After our tour with Jeff, there was no doubt this was where we wanted to get married. Amy made the entire process so easy and seamless. The ladies who helped book all our cabins (Jenette was amazing) were professional, helpful and kind. We personally booked 5 cabins to accommodate all our vendors and our needs and every single one was perfect. Our Welcome Dinner was held at the cabins under a huge tent and the night was amazing. Our overall wedding was absolutely perfect. The bartenders provided by the venue were awesome. Edward even helped bartend at our Welcome Dinner the night before. The only hiccup we had was the outdoor sound system struggling during the ceremony so if your DJ has the ability to provide the mic, let them. None of that was a deal breaker, we were able to see past it because it was a windy day. We can’t begin to thank Amy enough for making the whole process so simple. She was professional, punctual and courteous. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy some time without all the wedding events going on at the same time!!!

Wonderful venue! Beautiful, elegant and rustic. Amy and Jeff were easy to work with. They were quick to respond and helped in any way they could. The venue is not only beautiful inside and out but the cabins were too. It was perfect to have everything at one location for us and the guests! We also found the cost to be very reasonable in comparison to other venues. Highly recommend!

This venue was the perfect back drop for "the best day ever"! The lodge is beautiful as is without much need for extra decor if you so choose. It's simple, rustic, and elegant. The owner was helpful and answered ALL questions leading up to the wedding. The sound system is so good we considered skipping the DJ. The owner was present during the day of the wedding making sure bathrooms, windows, and patios were clean. We were able to setup the day before the wedding which was a big plus! The bridal and groom's suites were perfect for the wedding party to get ready and store their things throughout the day.

We got married at The Lodge on 12/17/22 and it was the most perfect venue. All of our guests loved the classic Hill Country vibe and Amy and Jeff were so great to work with and made the entire experience perfect. They responded so fast to all of our questions (we had a lot but they were so patient) and having the cabins on site for our guests to stay at made the weekend so much more special so that no one had to drink and drive. It was the perfect wedding and The Lodge played a big part in that, I couldn't recommend them more.

We had our wedding at The Lodge at Country Inn Cottages. It was absolutely perfect! 100 of our closest friends and family stayed on property with us and it could not have been a more perfect weekend. There is nothing better than looking out your window to see everyone you love in the same place. The only sad part was when everyone left! We will stay there for years to come and can't wait to plan a trip to stay there again. There are a million great things to say about the property because Jeff made it perfect for us and everyone else staying there. There isn't another place like it and we had countless people say "How did you find this place??" "This place is amazing!" "We're already planning a trip to come back and stay here!" You can't find a better place and we are lucky we found the perfect place for the best day.

I couldn’t be more happy with this venue!! All of my guests also really enjoyed it! Amy and Jeff were so attentive to all of our questions and needs. I was planning this wedding while living 5 hours away so any time i needed any question answered they emailed back so quickly. day of was so stress free. being able to have my guests stay at the venue is priceless and took off so much stress about everyone getting home safely. the bar tenders brandon and cheree that were provided through the venue were so attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed. I am so thankful for the whole team. it was a perfect day.

The Lodge at Country Inn and Cottages has a very special feel to it! Rustic, yet classy at the same time. Beautiful sunrises, wildlife, and tastefully decorated cottages leave guests with beautiful memories. We had a wonderful experience.

My brother had his wedding here at the lodge and it was an unforgettable weekend. We stayed the weekend in the cabins that the lodge offers and you were able to see everything that the 200 acre ranch has to offer. Seeing deer on a daily basis was awesome, they even had some elk that you can walk up to and take some really cool pictures of or with! My overall experience was amazing, glad I was able to experience it.

My brother had his weeding here. The Lodges and Venue were incredible. The cabins were very welcoming. I was able to experience my stay in November so it was cold and made it so much better. The views were amazing!
