I recently got married at The Lodge at Schroon Lake, if you are even considering having your wedding there, let this be your sign to do it! I could not possibly recommend it more highly!!
The property is absolutely stunning, the accommodations and amenities are great, the food and beverage was fantastic and always displayed so beautifully.
We had various wedding events on the beach, in the Overlook Room and Overlook Sunroom, in the Bevy, and on the Brown Swan patio. Our ceremony was on the Lakeview Lawn, cocktail hour on the Pavilion Lawn and reception in High Peak Ballroom. Each space was unique, comfortable and really beautiful.
Every single staff member was so amazing from our first venue visit through the tasting and the wedding weekend. Emily, the Sales and Conference Service Manager, was so wonderful to work with every step of the way along with Dani, the Director of Sales, Harley, the Reservations Supervisor and Executive Chef Dan. Everyone at the front desk, restaurant and bars were all fantastic!
I truly can't say enough things about how much we and all of our guests loved our weekend at The Lodge At Schroon Lake!
We truly could not have asked for a better wedding venue or team! Everyone at The Lodge at Schroon Lake went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day went off without a hitch, and we are so grateful for all the care they put into making our day so special.
Jacob was our main contact throughout the process and was such a pleasure to work with. He was always helpful, approachable, and somehow always had a smile on his face! JP came into the process a little later, but he immediately understood my husband and his love for The Lord of the Rings. Together, he and Jacob came up with a plan that allowed my husband to walk down the aisle carrying one of JP’s replica swords from the movies. My husband was absolutely thrilled! They even built a LEGO Eye of Sauron that sat next to him throughout the entire reception. 🥹 Those personal touches meant so much to us because they didn’t just understand my vision for the wedding—they made sure my husband’s vision and personality were represented, too.
Autumn was also wonderful to work with from the very beginning. She was incredibly knowledgeable and always made it easy to get answers to our questions. Dani was so helpful on the wedding day, especially when it came time to navigate my veil before walking down the aisle—thank you, Dani! ❤️
Beyond the incredible team, the venue itself is absolutely beautiful. We had the most amazing experience from start to finish, and I truly wouldn’t have wanted to celebrate our wedding anywhere else. The Lodge at Schroon Lake will always hold such a special place in our hearts, and we are so thankful to the entire team for helping bring our wedding day to life!
