My husband and I got married at the Lodge in late July, and we truly cannot rave about the Lodge enough! It was the perfect day. From the first time we met our coordinators (Amy, and then Jacqueline), they were responsive, kind, and so helpful. We were able to book a virtual tour quickly as we are from out of state, and as soon as we saw the tent and lawn, we knew this was our venue! Jacqueline was so amazing when we visited in Sept 2025 to do our tasting and an official tour of the grounds, and the food was delicious. Upon checking into the lodge for our wedding, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. We felt so at home and so taken care of at the same time. Our room was a lake side view with a balcony, and it truly was luxurious and beautiful. Our rehearsal was prompt and efficient, and the rehearsal dinner in the Regatta Room was perfect and intimate. The BBQ style meal was perfection, and our bartender was awesome! Our wedding day itself was a 10/10 - Jackie and the catering team were so efficient and it felt like I did not have to handle anything between them and our own coordinator. They listened to every request, ensured our timeline was perfectly executed, and the clean up was done so quickly and quietly as well. We can't wait to come stay at the Lodge for anniversaries and family trips, and visit our wedding venue for years to come! I cannot recommend it enough.

So many good things to say!! The location is stunning with the lake, mountains and sunset backdrop! The tent where the reception takes place is very classy with so many options to customize and make your day perfect. Getting everything perfect would not be possible without the amazing staff at The Lodge! The event staff (Amy!) is professional, kind & accommodating to your requests. They are there to help make it happen. When I look back and talk about my wedding I always say that it went perfectly! Thanks to all the people that helped make it possible.

lly discovered the venue by chance—we stopped in for lunch after our engagement weekend. Being from Wisconsin, we hadn’t even considered a Montana wedding at the time, but we couldn’t help but notice how beautiful the property was, even in November. Something about it just stuck with us, and we ended up booking our wedding for May without ever seeing it again after that first visit. The venue did not disappoint. Everything came together even better than we could have imagined. The weather was perfect, the views were incredible, and having the pool, hot tub, and tiki bar all open for Memorial Day weekend made it feel like a full destination experience for us and our guests. I had been a little worried about the timing—we knew Montana weather could be unpredictable, and we had even heard snow was possible, with boats not expected to be on the lake yet. But everything turned out absolutely perfectly. One of the best parts was having so many of our guests staying on-site. Since we were planning from out of state, it made the entire experience feel more intimate, relaxed, and memorable for everyone. Beyond the stunning setting, the staff including Jackie (our Event Sales and Service Manager) made everything feel seamless and stress-free. The day flowed effortlessly from start to finish, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment. We are so grateful we trusted our instincts that day after lunch—it led us to the most incredible place to celebrate. We would highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a beautiful, unique, and unforgettable wedding experience.

We had a very disappointing experience at the Lodge for our wedding. Despite the beautiful setting, we faced many issues that impacted our day. To start with, we had several missin...

g packages that we had sent to the venue and were reported as delivered but never found. This forced us to scramble and replace items on the morning of our wedding. Lack of communication from the vendor's coordinator led us to have last minute changes to our seating chart, and we were left rushing to order a new one. Our florist's chandelier florals were delivered and never set up by the venue. The power went out due to a storm that was passing by and the venue had no backup plan, no generator. If it weren't for our band having brought a second generator I am unsure of what the rest of our wedding day would've looked like. Due to loss of power and the venue having no way to keep their cooler cold, our ice cream dessert station was completely melted and no one was able to enjoy it. The lodge wedding coordinator had made no plan for us to sign our marriage license during our wedding day as she had requested a timeline from our photographer and never compiled a timeline of her own. In the end, the marriage license ended up getting lost in the Stateroom of the lodge and we were forced to extend our stay in Montana to obtain a new marriage license. Perhaps this day would've gone smoother if we had hired an outside wedding coordinator, or maybe if the lodge had an actual backup plan in place in case of extreme weather.

ve easily turned into a stressful situation. The banquet staff (shout out Mary!) were all so nice and on top of food, drinks, everything our guests wanted and needed. We were lucky enough to have absolutely amazing weather, and our outdoor ceremony and reception was perfect. We had about 80 out of town guests stay at the Lodge during our wedding weekend, and each one immensely enjoyed their stay. Montana is a very special place for our family, and our wedding at the Lodge at Whitefish Lake just solidified our love of this state. You can't go wrong having your wedding here!

All of our guests were technically out of towners and I know that they had an incredible experience at our wedding because of the Lodge's hospitality and elegance. The food was incredible, bartenders made wonderful cocktails and the grounds for our wedding were just gorgeous! ort are spectacular. Because of that, they do a lot of weddings. Believe me, it shows. I won't tell you not to stress, because you will, but take some solace in this. These people know what they're doing. And come wedding day, you will have Emily. That woman is an absolute marvel. Lots of fun, totally in control, and somehow everywhere at once. I thought our wedding was the best I have ever seen, and to no small degree, she is the reason. Do yourself a favor. Book this venue. It's worth every penny.

ery, our guests enjoyed the luxurious comforts at The Lodge, and the staff helped us customize the whole day to fit our needs. The on-site wedding coordinators are top-notch. I'm convinced they could put on a stellar wedding with their eyes closed. We planned this wedding from afar, and sometimes it seemed difficult to get a timely response from the events staff--especially in the week or two leading up to the wedding. But once we arrived at The Lodge, we realized it was because they had an event to coordinate every single day. At that point, it was hard to blame them for less-than-speedy email responses. Plus, by the time we did our final walk-through with the coordinators, we knew they'd be able to handle everything without a problem. We especially appreciated everything Emily and Kim did to help us with the big day!

elves. The room was beautiful and very clean. We had a great lakeside view from the room. Not the best massage I've ever had, but relaxing non the less. Would definitely go back for an anniversary or just because, but will make sure to arrange everything we want to do with the concierge when I have her attention, and will not try to track her down during our stay. We stayed for three nights, golfed, relaxing, and went into Glacier National park. Ate at the lodge a few times, and the food was great, but there's not a huge selection. Will venture out and try some other places in Whitefish next time.
