The Lodge on Echo Lake was the perfect venue for our wedding. Kathy was always available and quick to respond, making the planning process a breeze. The venue itself is beautiful, with a cozy and rustic atmosphere that made our special day even more magical. The staff were amazing and extremely kind, making us and our families feel like this was the only wedding they had all year. The level of detail was incredible, and we couldn't thank The Lodge on Echo Lake and their staff enough for such an amazing day. The lodge and location were beautiful, and the lodging on site was updated and super comfortable for our guests

The Lodge on Echo Lake was exactly what my husband and I were looking for in our wedding venue: beautiful inside and out, had onsite lodging for us and some of our guests, helpful team, and it embraced everything we love about the Adirondack area. Our wedding went very smoothly from the planning to the execution, thanks to Kathy and the rest of the team. The venue, perfect weather, the band (Those Guys entertainment - super talented!), and the bonfire at the end of the night really made it a special and unforgettable weekend - everyone (including us!) had a blast.

This venue is absolutely gorgeous and the property is huge so there are so many options to easily personalize your wedding/event. The layout of the entire place is so convenient which makes the whole day flow so nicely. There is no site fee so it was nice to not feel like we had to give every last dime to the venue and the entire day far surpassed my expectations.
Ashley was incredibly helpful calming my nerves on the big day, was SO friendly, and even ran to the store to get the best man black socks that he forgot. She also gave my mom hair product to use that she forgot, and helped us out our decorations on the arch. Throughout the reception she periodically checked in on us to make sure everything was going well and got us anything we needed.
The food was delicious and the portions were huge, so were able to take some home! Honestly better food than I’ve had in a lot of restaurants. And the views on this property are absolutely beautiful. I really can’t say enough about this place and how accommodating they were

Working with Ashley was amazing. She strives to do nothing but make sure our day was perfect and she absolutely did just that. She helped create a perfect wedding by relieving some responsibility of the wedding party and helping us get down the aisle at the perfect time. She was so easy to work with even via email when I was in buffalo and she was at the venue in warrensburg. The wall of windows was perfect and I was blessed with a snowy day that I asked for. We had the outside inside because the windows made it feel wintry without the cold. The deck was a great place for pictures and the space was absolutely amazing. The food was insanely good and the portions were impressive. The prime ribs were bigger than I’ve ever seen before and nice and thick. If you’re thinking about this place go tour it to see its full beauty. Pictures only do so much.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our wedding at the Lodge on Echo lake. Working with Kathy was very easy. She was very responsive to our emails, had great ideas and was very supportive of ours. She even went to check out good boat launching spots so we could fulfill our wild idea to hop in our canoe prior to the ceremony.
The location itself is very beautiful. The venue itself as well as the guest cabins are well maintained and very clean. My parents (who were skeptical of the idea) were very impressed.
The ability to have our guests stay in cabins on the property were a real selling point for us. As we imagined, it was so fun to hang out with everyone on Friday night. The forecast had called for cool weather, so Kathy set up propane heaters under the pavilion and our guests were very comfortable for the welcome reception. Even after the bonfire ended on Saturday night our friends and family could still spend time together, something you just don't get at most wedding venues.
Lodging: Our parents were very comfortable in the Echo Lake house and the Hudson Street house. The Road house was also an ideal spot for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready (most of the bridal party stayed there). We stayed in the Lakeside cabin for the weekend which was very relaxing and had everything we needed. The Lakeside cabin also served as a great getting ready spot for the groomsmen. I have some very picky aunts and all of them were very impressed by the accommodations in the cabins.
Everyone raved about the food! What else is there to say about that? The chef was happy to make small adjustments to the menu. All of the staff were friendly, enthusiastic and anticipated what would be needed before we asked for it. For example, we had some left over pies from the wedding desserts, and when we showed up to the send off brunch they had put them out again. Who doesn't want pie for breakfast?! Plus it used up the extra 5 pies so they didn't go to waste.
The Lodge on Echo lake is the perfect Adirondack Wedding venue: modern and comfortable for all guests, while maintaining the relaxed and rustic vibes of a weekend away with your closest friends and family.

Our wedding at the Lodge was perfect, we got exactly what we expected. The staff was friendly and on point all night long. Kathy was great in making sure that things remained on schedule and keeping people happy. Perfect venue for a smaller cozy adirondack style wedding!

First of all, the venue itself - it is rustic, stunning, and truly unique. My husband and I love camping and hiking, so this venue was perfect for our taste. Many of our friends and family stayed right on site in the cabins, and they all raved about them. We stayed in the honeymoon cabin and it was lovely as well.
Kathy, the coordinator, was incredible. She was so quick to respond to all of my questions throughout the planning process. I was so impressed by how calm and organized she is while coordinating so many events! It is so reassuring working with someone with so much experience. The rest of the staff were also lovely.
The food was delicious! We did a buffet, and there was something to satisfy all of our guests.
We also opted to have a bonfire, and it was the perfect way to end our evening. Despite that it was raining, (somehow) the staff was able to set up a blazing fire, and everyone enjoyed it.
I am so glad that we picked the Lodge on Echo Lake - we had such a magical wedding day, so much owing to this beautiful venue and wonderful staff!

The minute we walked in to tour the lodge, we knew it was the venue for us. It has the perfect amount of rustic charm that we were looking for, and we were able to personalize enough to really make the day unique to us. All of our guests loved the venue, too! Kathy was easy to work with, always quick to respond, and laid back through the whole process. The only thing that we have to say is that at some points it felt a little too laid back, and we were a bit worried that something may go wrong. But we are happy to say that did not happen and everything ran as smooth as it could have. We are so happy to have chosen the lodge! If you are looking for a rustic and romantic lodge wedding, this is for you!

We chose Echo Lake because when we first saw the site we saw it as a beautiful, local Adirondack venue. We live in the Adirondacks, and wanted to get married in the community we have grown to love. We also chose all local vendors. I say this because a lot of people that come to Echo Lake are from out of town.
Our experience with Echo Lake started when we handed in our deposit a year and a half before our day, settling on the exact date we met 8 years earlier. It was perfect. Then, as we were trying to sign a contract Kathy was too busy, until she notified us the owners had decided to hold a camp event that weekend instead and we had to change our date. We had to settle for whatever days were available at the time.
As time went on there weren't any noticeable problems, until we then starting receiving requests to provide our cabins to another wedding. This was a great feature of Echo Lake that was then being pushed to be taken away from us. Ever since that email came in we started having a very impersonal experience. All communications were very short, urgent "asap" requests (being sent to an already stressed out wedding party), or items were simply just omitted from our conversations. We were clearly NOT a priority to the venue or Kathy.
The final month was a disaster. We found out a lot of information verbally communicated to us was incorrect or misrepresented to us at the beginning. We were told the staff will be able to setup our decorations if they're "not too complicated" which is a completely subjective opinion and didn't leave us feeling confident. So much so that my wife and her bridesmaids ended up doing all of the decorations themselves.
When we came up for our rehearsal we found our ceremony site was unmowed and covered in garbage blowing in the wind. The lodge was also haf garbage, wrappers, and beer bottles scattered on the lawn. We were told it would be cleaned up. On our wedding day there was still some garbage on the site. After a last minute cleaning by the service staff it cleaned up for the most part, though I was still standing in small shreds of garbage.
Finally, we find out that the archway flowers my wife specifically chose in loving memory of her elder family was used for another wedding after ours. We spent a lot of money on those flowers. It just stole from our personalization of our wedding day.
All in all, the biggest complaint I have is that we never felt like we were a priority. I read through all of these reviews of "amazing service" and attention, and I wonder why we didn't receive the same service. Weddings are already not a priority to the owners, which is fine it's a business, but this is a once in a lifetime event of love and we came out of it with just a bad taste. Luckily, our bridal party, parents, and other vendors came through for us and made the night a beautiful day to remember.

I am a wedding photographer and had the pleasure of working with Ms Kathy recently at The Lodge on Echo Lake and everything was amazing as always. From the moment I arrived, everyone made me VERY welcome and were exceptionally helpful. First-class service all the way. Kathy, Missy and everyone on her team, are wonderful and so friendly. I'm very certain the couple (and their families) had a brilliant experience throughout their wedding weekend in Warrensburg. The staff and service were a big reason why. Everything was perfect and done right. So impressed. On a personal note to Kathy, thank you for being such a wonderful professional to work with and for making my job so much easier.

My husband and I got married at the Lodge on Echo Lake on October 22nd. We had a GREAT experience with Kathy and the Lodge staff.
First I'll start with Kathy who is the venue coordinator. Kathy is extremely helpful and organized. She was willing to answer any and all of our questions and was always reachable via cell. We were planning our wedding from Georgia, but Kathy made working with the Lodge a total breeze.
The Lodge provides almost anything you might need. Card box? Check. Linens and chair covers? Check and check. Cupcake or cake stand? Check. We hardly had to bring anything in ourselves which was a HUGE relief since we couldn't do much in the way of DIY. You also can't beat the interior decor and view from the Lodge porch / building. It's a little Adirondack paradise in Warrensburg. Set up was a breeze, and I didn't have to worry about absolutely anything on my wedding day. The only thing we had to do was alphabetize our escort cards and Kathy laid them out for us along with our table numbers, etc.
Now the food. The food was awesome! The cost per plate was extremely reasonable, and we were able to work out a deal with Kathy to have a carving station which people raved about. The menu selection is varied and everything sounded delicious. We were able to find something for everyone, including our vegetarian guests. The bartenders were quick and responsive, and we were able to pick two delicious kegs of our favorite beers to have on tap. The beer selection was extremely important to us since my husband and I actually met through beer-brewing!
On the actual day everything went very smoothly. Kathy took great care of my husband and I, and we were happy with everything. The one downside was that it was pouring rain on our wedding day so we didn't get to have a bonfire, but Kathy let us keep the lodge for an extra hour at no cost because of this. They also provided shuttles throughout the evening so our guests could leave as they pleased.
I think the only thing that "went wrong" which really wasn't wrong was that the champagne fountain ran out of champagne. I chalk this up to our family and friends filling their toasting glasses to the brim when most people might just put a sip in their glass. Kathy was quick to put out extra bottles for people so everyone could have some, so problem solved!
Thank you, Kathy and staff, for everything. Our wedding reception was absolutely wonderful!!!

We had our wedding here about a month ago and we couldn’t of been happier. This venue has everything included, which was exactly what we were looking for. The food was great, the scenery was lovely and Kathy was extremely helpful. I asked her a million questions at random times of the day and she usually responded within 5 minutes to 12 hours. Given the shear amount of couples she has on her plate I was always impressed. The entire staff there was also very helpful and nice and my wedding was amazing. I couldn't of asked for anything better. I highly recommend this venue!

The Lodge on Echo lake was an amazing venue to have our wedding at. We just recently got married in September and the scenery in the Adirondack is gorgeous in the fall. Kathy was very easy to work with and super quick to get back to us with any questions we had.

We are from out of town but the Adirondacks holds a special place in our hearts. Therefore, we looked at venues in the Adirondacks and fell in love with the Lodge when we saw it online. After visiting it, we realized it was just as beautiful in person as displayed on the website. They had enough cabins on-site for our immediate families and bridal party and offered to shuttle guests back and forth from two local hotels (in Lake George).
We chose to get married at the beach location (in front of the lake and beautiful Adirondack pines) but knew that having a Spring wedding we may end up inside. The Lodge is beautiful inside so we felt like we had great options either way.
Their wedding coordinator, Kathy, was very nice and helpful, though somewhat hard to read. After booking everything, they had to change one of the options that they'd originally promised to go along with our bonfire. It was out of their hands and mistakes happen, which I understand, though I do think it would have been nice of them to do something else for us in exchange (or at least give us a slight break on the price of the fire). It ended up raining so hard that we couldn't have the bonfire anyway so the $350 ended up being a total waste. We had also given them everything for them to set-up at the ceremony site which was helpful but they never set-up the unity sand. It was still in bags when the ceremony started. Luckily a family member realized this and poured it in the vases quickly. Again, not a major mistake, but you might want to designate a family member or friend to check on everything. Only other issue we had is we ran out of alcohol. We had chose the kegs option and therefore, it was not unlimited (but saved us a lot of money). We knew this was a risk so we wanted to order more than suggested but Kathy thought it'd be too much. Unfortunately, we were right and should have ordered more. Apparently our families drink more than the average wedding guests :)
Overall, I really can't complain though because we were able to have a beautiful wedding on the beach and a wonderful reception. The food and service was excellent and the set-up of the Lodge is great. We really liked the big bar by the dance floor so that people could visit there while others danced (people didn't end up in totally separate locations). The deck is also a great feature. People could go outside without missing out on what was going on inside.
Kathy and the other staff at the Lodge were very helpful especially in providing us some insight on local vendors since we're from out of town. We had a Friday evening wedding because honestly, we couldn't afford to have a Saturday wedding there. Therefore, I'm sure we spent half of what they usually get for a wedding but they never made us feel that way. They still gave us great service throughout.
All in all, I highly recommend it especially if you're looking for the back woods feel but the convenience of having everything nearby.

I was married at the Lodge on Echo Lake in September 2012 and it was absolutely amazing! Kathy from the Lodge is wonderfully helpful! At any time I had a question or concern, she would get back to me as soon as possible; most times the same day! The day of the wedding she made sure that everything ran smoothly. My husband and I did not have to worry about anything! Our wedding is still being talked about...everyone is still raving! I would recommend the lodge to anyone!
