The Lodge on Hatley Farm

We have never been more pleased with a group of ladies! They went out of there way to make our day the best day of our lives! The rain and cold didn’t stop them from helping us make our dream wedding come true! The food was the best we’ve ever eaten at any wedding and the professionalism they showed to all of us was above and beyond our expectations!

The Lodge on hatley farm is beautiful I had my bridal shower there in October of 2019. Everything went perfect. Fast forward to my brothers wedding yesterday8/7. It started out absolutely terrible. The bride and DJ arrived to the venue maybe 30 mins after their expected time from the venue staff and they were telling the brides dj where to set up. The bride started taking pictures with the photographer and during the midst of this the venue managing partners starting moving her set up to the back yard of the house of one of the property owners. When asked what was going on the staff stated that she was late and this is how they will accommodate. My brother paid for the venue for their wedding and to use the outside grounds for the ceremony not a back yard. The staff were rude and blamed us for the fact that they were double booked for a rehearsal dinner. No one communicated why we couldn’t have the wedding where they should have had it which was the expectation from the beginning. Yes some of the guest were furious and also acted in a manner that was disrespectful to the staff. But can you blame them our family was in the house in tears on their wedding day. For the staff not to provide a true explanation or be professional was shocking. They also loved to throw out there that the couple who paid 7,000 for their wedding and rehearsal dinner were their top priority. Which in my opinion they should have never took my brothers money if they weren’t going to get the same respect as the other party. On top of all of this the manager was so disrespectful to the DJ he ended up leaving. Thank God we had a speaker in our car to play for majority of the time. The staff seemed to have potential to be good people and once everything calmed down they were nicer to the guest, but it really showed the lack of training for customer service and regards to this is a day the bride and groom will remember forever.
