About this vendor
The Loft at Roosevelt Row LLC is a unique rooftop wedding venue in Phoenix, AZ. This exquisite and historic property was built in 1929 and is set in the midst of the downtown art district, surrounded by art galleries, boutique shops, and cafes. You can enjoy the timeless charm of vintage decor on exposed brick walls and wooden floors. A wedding held here will have a backdrop that is nothing short of remarkable.
The event space at The Loft at Roosevelt Row is a vintage loft area, appropriate for weddings and other gatherings of fewer than 100 people. You can exchange your vows by a striking original brick wall, then proceed to savor dining and cocktails with twinkling lights on the rafters above. Afterward, you and your loved ones may dance and share conversations in the roomy lower loft space. This facility is owned and operated by Leslie Hernandez, who since 2018 has been in the wedding industry. She has experience as a wedding MC and DJ as well as a planner and now a venue proprietor.
The Loft at Roosevelt Row hosts single-faith, multi-faith, and non-religious ceremonies, as well as elopements, civil unions, commitment ceremonies, second weddings, and vow renewal ceremonies. Additionally, you can hold your reception on these premises. The staff offers planning and design assistance before your wedding and rentals and service staff on your big day. Amenities include tables, chairs, linens, sound equipment, in-house decor, and more. Their experienced event coordinators will work with you to make your occasion an incredible night to remember.

I recently held my wedding at The Loft at Roosevelt Row, drawn by its undeniable beauty and charm. While the venue itself is stunning, our experience was significantly impacted by management shortcomings.
From the beginning, communication with Leslie, the coordinator, was challenging. Responses to inquiries took weeks or even months, adding unnecessary stress to the planning process. On the wedding day, several promised arrangements were not completed:
– Incomplete Decorations: Leslie assured us that she would attach our decorations to the stairwell railing. However, this was not done, and our guests ended up completing the setup as they arrived.
– Unprepared Spaces: The welcome area and ceremony space were cluttered with boxes and unprepared, even as guests began to arrive.
– Lack of Direction: Guests were not properly directed upon arrival, leading many to wander into private areas where we were taking photos.
– Missing Essentials: During the cocktail hour, guests were not provided with napkins, plates, or utensils until we brought it to Leslie's attention.
– Security Concerns: Despite advertising security services, there appeared to be none. Leslie spent a significant portion of the event sitting on the stairs to "watch the door."
Our personal items were left unsecured, and we were not informed about storage limitations beforehand. Despite these issues, our day was saved by our incredible bridal party and guests who stepped up when needed. I am only giving two stars for the venue itself and because my wedding day went well, but otherwise I would only give 1, and that's still being generous.
I hope The Loft at Roosevelt Row addresses these concerns to ensure future events run smoothly. The venue has immense potential, but significant improvements in management are necessary.
