The London West Hollywood

ok into this venue! We really enjoyed working with Jamison, the private events manager. He made sure our entire rehearsal and wedding day ran smoothly and was so quick to respond to our emails when we had questions! We had our wedding reception and ceremony outdoors overlooking the LA skyline in June. The venue location itself is spectacular, located in the heart of West Hollywood. The rooms are so spacious, which is hard to find at any hotel in LA. The staff treated our guests with utmost respect and were so professional. The food was spectacular in taste and the portions were generous. It’s been a week, and all of our guests are still complimenting the food and beverage selections! If we could do a wedding at The London West every year, we would!!!

setup was beautiful, the food was absolutely delicious, and they made sure every detail was taken care of along the way. They produced a truly stunning and unforgettable evening for our wedding that we will never forget. One thing that my wife and I, our families, and countless guests were all blown away by was the level of service. Whoever is training and managing their people is doing an amazing job because every single interaction from the valet to the front desk to the kitchen to the bartenders was warm, professional, and helpful. Each person we interacted with truly went above and beyond to make our stay at the London memorable (and, I should say, this has also been our experience there every time we've been there, even just for dinner/drinks). Needless to say, we are already looking forward to going back. Finally, the location of the London was really fun and a perfect introduction to LA for people that were coming in from out of town for our event. Our photographer was able to get photos of us right outside in front of the Whiskey a Go Go, and there are tons of iconic spots on that part of the Sunset Strip. The location also made it easy to find great options for our rehearsal dinner, and our friends enjoyed being able to walk to cool drink and brunch spots nearby.

ocess. For the last year+, we have been working with Matthew McKeon from The London. He helped us with every single step, from selecting the menu (we’re vegetarians, so picking a beef and fish dish was tricky for us – but our guests are still raving about the food a week later). He helped us decide on a layout for the ceremony and reception, among solidifying a thousand other details – and we trusted his opinions completely. He was responsive to our emails, gracious to work with, and by the time the wedding day arrived, we felt like he was a friend. We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed working with Matthew; his attention to detail, kindness, and availability genuinely made the experience what it was: Perfect. In addition to working with Matthew behind the scenes, ALL of the staff at The London were gracious and friendly with our guests. Sebastian, Wayne – I wish I remembered more names! – and everyone from the servers to the front desk staff made our friends and family feel welcome. We are so appreciative to them for making it a positive experience for everyone! Beyond the wonderful people working at the hotel, we cannot forget to mention the absolute stunning setting that The London provides. Our guests, from all over the world, were blown away by the views. We tried to keep everything very simple (we used the hotel’s linens, chairs, tables, dance floor, etc.) but it looked anything but basic. I have seen photos from other weddings in which the space is decorated to the nines, and of course that looks beautiful, as well… but we found that accoutrement to be unnecessary. From the moment guests arrived in the elegant lobby, to their stepping onto the rooftop, the hotel effortlessly set the tone. It felt simple, sophisticated, flawless. I wish I could relive our wedding day a thousand times, and I credit that in large part to our impeccable experience with The London. Thank you, thank you!

courtyard does not have any lighting which you will need to provide for yourself (which is never cheap for a wedding) and communication was a little stifled by the Event Manager which is always terrifying when you are the bride and you have questions. Everyone also let us know that the food was amazing! One other thing also is that they do try to control the volume of the music during your reception, so keep that in mind.

t coordinator, was fantastic from day one, working side by side with my planner and myself to ensure that I had the perfect day. The bellmen are superb, and really went out of their way to accomodate us. I would recommend this venue to anyone wanting a phenomenal experience.

, and NOTHING compares to the London and their rooftop views. The service is absolutely fabulous & I would HIGHLY recommend engaged couples look into this hotel for their wedding. Also, I would strongly suggest renting out the rooftop (including the pool side), as this made our wedding! You have views of LA all around the pool, and can use their chic cabanas for fun food/dessert stations. The London Hotel is hands down the ideal place for a fun, trendy and unforgettable LA wedding!
