Sam and Syd are a photography duo in love with the beautiful outdoors, mac and cheese with hot dogs (iykyk), wiggly wiener dogs, and most importantly: people.
A perfect day, for us, is one spent with those we love, celebrating this weird and wonderful life for all it is, strangeness and everything. Capturing this beautiful life is just a perk. You’ll find us outside, letting the sun kiss our skin, digging our toes into the grass and marveling at this life we get to enjoy.
If you’re looking for more than a camera-wearing human being, you’ll get that with Sam and Syd.
We are two photographers with great hair, a sense of humor, and a panache for fun poses, blending into the background, authentic-candid documentary photography, and celebrating the little moments, because they are truly what make life worth living.

More importantly, their energy throughout the entire process was awesome, especially on our wedding day. And based on our engagement photos and the sneak peaks that we have seen, we know that the end product will be excellent.
