Rachel was absolutely amazing on our wedding day. We communicated via email and phone prior to the wedding, and she provided a detailed questionnaire before our wedding to make sur...
e we knew what photos we wanted. She went above and beyond the day-of, and even took us out to a field at golden hour to get some gorgeous shots. She's not afraid to get into the weeds with you, which we greatly appreciated because those are the types of photos we wanted! She captured such creative and unique moments that I haven't seen anywhere else. Her style is so beautiful and I cannot wait to get photos made into a book and printed to hang in our home. Her photos are pure art, they aren't your typical cookie-cutter style. Each photo was taken with intent and the angles and crops she used are just spot-on. She is so friendly, kind, and down-to-earth, and I highly recommend her if you are in the Upstate NY area! I definitely plan on hiring her in the future, she is a dream to work with! I cannot say enough good things about Rachel! She is awesome!

ckgrounds, sunsets, and she researches places that the photos will look best taken in. Her personality makes you feel like you've known her for years and she became our friend in the process. Rachel is a professional and we were so blessed to have her as our photographer! We will be using her for every future event!
Working with Rachel was such a dream! Book her immediately, you won't regret it! I don't like having my picture taken but she made us feel so at ease for both our engagement and we...
dding pictures. Rachel gave great directions so we looked very natural in all the pictures instead of posey like typical wedding pictures can be. She's a pleasure to be around - funny and fun but still a professional! We just got our pictures back from the wedding and could not be happier. We received so many that it took us days to narrow it down to an acceptable number to share. They are so beautiful and I love the way Rachel works with natural light and captures such genuine moments. So many guests commented at the wedding how amazing she was and even more when we posted the final product! Our pictures are unreal. I think working with Rachel as our photographer was the best decision we made when planning our wedding.

ay was captured in the magical dream-like state that it was. Her work is simply stunning and her photos were delivered quickly. If you can book her, you won't be sorry.
HIGHLY recommend Rachel. She is super sweet and our photos were so beautiful!
Rachel is excellent! She wanted to meet via Skype when I first inquired to make sure our personalities meshed. The minute I hung up I knew I wanted her (our shared love for tacos d...
idn't hurt!!)! We met her for our engagement session in December 2016 (she provided suggestions on what to wear, what photographs well, location ideas), and she strikes the perfect balance between being extremely professional, while still being fun and making us laugh. My fiance and I both felt instantly comfortable with her, and our photos reflect that - they look natural, and truly capture our personalities. The photos are exactly what I was hoping for. So looking forward to having her and her second shooter capture our wedding in September!
We cannot say enough amazing things about Rachel. From our beautiful engagement photos to our wedding day 'sneak peaks', we have been so pleased with every photo that Rachel has ta...
ken. Rachel made our wedding day so easy and is one of the most committed photographers we have ever met (she even walked into a large pool of water in Buffalo to capture an amazing photo). Her spontaneous ideas and energetic personality created a laid back and fun atmosphere for the entire day and so many of our guests approached us to tell us how impressed they were with Rachel's work. We would highly recommend RachelLizPhotography!
