The Lovin’ Oven in Lancaster, TX has ALWAYS been my choice for my wedding cake ever since I was a little girl. Both my cake and my husbands cake were delicious (traditional buttercream and german chocolate that was A&M themed). The only thing troubling was working with Suzanne. Covid probably added more stress to the small-town bakery, but the communication wasn’t the greatest. She had to ask a few times again how I wanted my cake (which pictures were emailed/texted a few times), it was a bit of a process with her to get my husband’s cake A&M themed (very easily approved with A&M). She kept losing the pictures of his cake and my cake, and communication was lost on the fact that I had asked for my husbands cake to be half chocolate half white and she ended up making it german chocolate...not sure what happened here. But regardless, the cakes were delicious. Just know what you want ahead of time.

Not only was our wedding cake beautiful, it was delicious! Our guests are still talking about how good the cake was. We now have one stop for all of our baked goods. We are repeat customers!

Perfect! They really listen to what you want and try to make your special day as unique as you want! Their cake is so simple, yet SO GOOD!

Beautiful cake and it was delicious! Outstanding customer service. The owners have been in business for 20+ years and are known by an array of country music stars. There's even an autographed picture hanging on their wall in the bakery as a 'thank you' from Garth Brooks. Delivery is included in the overall fee. She will place the cake topper on for you at the venue AND lay your flowers on the cake at the same time. Great service.

My cake was beautiful, thanks to susan the owner. She was patient with me. I did not have my flowers until a couple of days before the wedding and my florist did not send enough for the size of my cake, but she made magic and not to mention everyone loved the cake. I ordered mines with two flavors!!!
