We had the band play a jazz set during dinner which worked great, then they kept the dance floor packed for the rest of the night. I can strongly recommend them as an event band without hesitation.

ights honestly exceeded expectations. They played our not so typical first dance song "Concentrate on You" beautifully and when we sent them extra tunes for a hora set they totally delivered. I couldn't have imagined a better start to the night then ten minutes of raucous hora-ing with my Jewish and non-Jewish family and friends. Though my husband and I didn't join cocktail hour we could hear the Jazz trio killing it. All of the musicians are top notch. We had people telling us they would pay to see them in concert! The singers voices were fantastic and the sound level was great. At past family weddings we had little kids that couldn't take the noise but Lustre Lights felt like a concert without killing your eardrums. My goal was to have everyone on the dance floor till the very end and LustreLights made it happen. Hire them NOW!

They were very accommodating and learned a song for our first dance, which was perfect. People are still commenting on how amazing the band was. relative, a friend, or a business colleague were asking me how I found Lustrelights. One guest even said that, in her 50 years of wedding experience, they were by far the best band she has seen. I know weddings can be stressful, but the band was not a single one of my worries. Kara, Dan, and the whole group know their craft and I fully trusted them with the entire flow of my reception. They even learned several new songs for the first dances. Kara was always willing to discuss the schedule of events, playlist, and any questions/ concerns. In fact, when setting up the day of, she observed another vendor setting something up she knew I did not want and made sure it was run by me first (and Kara was 100% correct). That was not her job, but she was looking out for me to ensure I had the wedding of my dreams. The reception went seamlessly due to Kara's skills as a MC and ability to adapt to the crowd. I could not have asked for a better band for my wedding/reception. Plus, I have so many excellent pictures of my guests dancing with the band rocking out in the background - love it! I cannot wait to see them play again.

All of the other performers were so friendly, engaging with the guests during songs, and kept the energy up for the whole night. I would choose this band a million times over again. At the end of the night, just as the lights came up, all the guests were so fired up with their performance that everyone yelled for an anchor . The band definitely did not need to oblige, but they did. Can't recommend this group highly enough (and you definitely want the horns -- they're great too).

You will be in VERY good hands with them. All in all, they helped make our wedding absolutely unforgettable and would recommend them to anyone out there looking for a band that can play damn near anything you're looking for. We had a mix of Motown, soul, country and pop and they nailed all of it.
