The LuX Firm

I got married almost 3 months ago, and around 90 days prior to my wedding, it was suggested to me that I needed a 'professional' wedding planner to make sure my day and all the planning and details that I arranged were executed properly on my wedding day. I was referred to The LuX Firm. Initially the service seemed to be very professional, but what I didn't realize was that service was actually only lip-service. To make a long story short, my wedding day was a complete unorganized mess. I will speak to my personality a being "type A" so i try to give grace to those who I know aren't like me. However, when the 'professionals' that I hired (and paid in full up front) found time to get their hair and makeup done, by the vendors that I hired, eat the food that I bought for my bridal party, and tell my future husband 15 mins before the wedding ceremony that if he or someone didn't go out (in the rain) to get the marriage certificate there wouldn't be a wedding -- is when you've gone too far. (Ya'll we were so appalled by their service, or lack their of, we had to address it on the way to our honeymoon.) Now I know you're wondering why I'm bringing this up a whole 3 months later.. well- it's been brought to my attention that we are missing several items from our big day. 1. My veil 2. My custom 'something blue' from my MIL 3. Toating flutes 4. Our cake topper. I reached out to all vendors asking if they had any idea on where my precious possessions may be... guess who not only didn't respond, but left the conversation?? That's right - The LuX Firm. Now, I am in NO WAY accusing anyone of anything. I'm just circling back up with the people that we hired to make sure all of our possessions were accounted for ..oh but wait, they probably wouldn't know where our stuff was because they left mid-way through the reception and didn't even announce they were leaving. I say all this to say, ladies, future brides, mothers, whatever you do - do NOT hire The LuX Firm for any special event you may have. - Like i said at the end of my email, I could've done their job myself.
