We picked this venue because it’s beautiful and because the staff seemed so lovely. Now that our wedding is over, I can’t say enough wonderful things about the venue. Guests were so in awe of how lovely the venue was. The flower garden and the animals were a great hit! I couldn’t have picked a better venue.
The absolute best wedding venue ever!!! We got married here at the end of June and I don’t have enough nice things to say about the venue. It is truly stunning, so adorable, and in the perfect location. My best friend and I found the Farmette years and years ago while looking for flower farms in the area and at that time I told myself that I would someday get married there. And a few weeks ago that finally came true!
The Farmette allowed us to have our Golden Retriever as our ring dog, which was a huge priority for us and a major factor in deciding to book with them.
We had a fairly small wedding and we were concerned that we would struggle to fill the space, but that was not an issue at all. We did our ceremony on the flagstone patio and had dinner on the lawn. We also had a coffee bar in the typical bar area during cocktail hour, which we really enjoyed. Every area of the venue is gorgeous and perfect!
We got so many compliments from guests about the venue, and people really enjoyed just strolling around after the ceremony to take in the views.
Also, Lyons is my favorite place on Earth, so being able to get married there was so lovely. We stayed in town before and after the wedding and enjoyed getting coffee in the mornings. We also had our rehearsal dinner at Lavern M Johnson, and some of our guests camped and tubed there as well. It’s such a lovely location and that really adds to the amazingness of the Farmette.
I have no complaints and out of every aspect of our wedding, the Farmette was certainly one of the best (apart from getting to marry my now-husband, of course)!
River Bend is the most beautiful venue ever! Our family and friends could not stop talking about how beautiful and perfect the venue is, and dance under the stars for our wedding in September! They are amazing to work with, and you will not regret having your wedding here!
We got married here and it was the most amazing, beautiful venue. Guests came up to us all night asking how we found the place since it was so beautiful and charming. Get married here!
Overall we loved just about everything this venue had to offer. It’s so dreamy and unique. My only issue was the reception space in their new barn. Unfortunately we weren’t able to see this space until the day before the wedding so we weren’t sure what it looked like, and in my opinion it was underwhelming, under decorated, and slightly awkward to have a dance party in. The grounds however are stunning and id definitely choose this venue again if given the option.
I honestly cannot put into words how incredibly perfect the Farmette is. The space itself is just WOW - you get this perfect combination of the laidback Colorado farm charm mixed with indulgent and beautiful details. You feel like you are tucked away into this private paradise despite being so conveniently located from the highway. The grounds are impeccable and there are all of these little unique alcoves for people to congregate in. The house for the bridal party to get ready in is spacious and comfortable and a perfect place to get ready as you can spy on the guests arriving. The flowers fields are just divine and were in super bloom during our wedding and it was extra special knowing that our flowers came from that field (hire their in house florist Plume & Furrow!!). And of course the farm animals are a HUGE hit - there is nothing like sitting down to your al freso dinner on the lawn and hearing the sweet sounds of the goats and hens in the background. I think my husbands all time favorite picture from the wedding is him holding a hen! The staff is just amazing, you can really tell that they are good people and love their space and making their couples feel so welcome and celebrated.
If you are looking for a Colorado wedding venue - do yourself a favor and check out the Farmette and their sister venue the River Bend. They were the first and ONLY venues we looked at and we immediately knew the Farmette was for us.
We got married at the River Bend in 2019. What a magical venue to get married at! Also reserving all tiny homes at wee casa is a must for your accommodations!
We had the most amazing wedding at the Lyons Farmette. It was absolutely the most perfect venue for us. They had the most flexibility of any venues we looked at, and the coordinators were so easy to work with! From start to finish, they were super responsive and reasonable and our day was so special because of them. Highly recommend!!
We loved getting married at the River Bend. It was such a delightful and gorgeous venue.
We loved getting married at River Bend, it was truly a magical day! I did countless hours of venue research when we got engaged. Having worked at a wedding venue I had a clear vision of what I wanted and did not want for our day. I spoke to many wonderful venues but none had quite the appeal of River Bend. Betsy was helpful answering all of our questions and offering suggestions. It was the only venue we actually saw in person (if you don’t count the Farmette which we also saw on the tour). I literally got goosebumps the first time I saw it, my now husband was hooked too! It was exactly right for us, we knew we wanted to get married outside and my husband loves to fly fish. He actually did so on the day of our wedding! It also didn’t hurt that we got to include our dog in the ceremony. We had a lot of out of town guests coming and we felt that River Bend reflected many of the reasons that we love Colorado so much. We really enjoyed talking to different vendors at the “open house” they have each fall, just make sure you go on an empty stomach!
We mostly worked with Kayla, through Dahlia Events, and she was wonderful. Although I didn’t get ready at the venue (I had a large bridal party), the cottage had just been re-done and was a great space for my girls to hang out. The “glamping tent” ended up being the perfect place for the boys to hang out and fish before the ceremony. The weather was perfect on our day, but we felt better knowing that the tent could be used with the walls down just in case. The layout of the venue is great as well. From the bar under the huge pine tree, to the fire pit for s’mores, everything flowed really well. One thing to note is that it is difficult to get ride shares in the area. We opted to use shuttles to and from Boulder for our guests which worked really well. So many of our guests commented that it was the most beautiful venue they had ever seen and we couldn’t agree more.
On our tour of the Riverbend property, we knew immediately we wanted to get married here. The venue feels like something out of a fairytale. We felt that the property was very reflective of our time together in Colorado and would be an amazing experience for all of our out of state guests. It was only a quick 15 minute drive from our home and we love the town of Lyons. Our guests stayed in Boulder & Estes Park, as the venue is in the middle of the two. There are also adorable tiny homes on the property which was great for our guests with kiddos. The venue manager, Lauren, was wonderful to work with. We had a 75 degree sunny day, so we didn’t have to worry about rain but if we did the tent walls come down and you can order tent heaters. Our wedding was in early fall, so having a bonfire was wonderful and our guests enjoyed every minute of it. In addition, the year before they had an “open house” where you could go and meet with lots of vendors they work closely with. So many of our guests commented that it was the most beautiful wedding venue they had ever seen. We were so grateful that we found such a great venue and all of the vendors they work with are amazing!
We loved getting married at The Lyons Farmette! It was a magical place to spend time with our family and friends. The animals were so entertaining and we got great photos with them! We had Lauren as our day of wedding coordinator through Dahlia Events. She was so helpful, communicative, and did an amazing job! It was a perfect wedding, we couldn't have been happier!
We loved getting married at The Farmette. When we toured the venue, we got to witness baby Andy the Alpaca's birth and it sold us on the venue - besides the rad staff there! Betsy and Mike are so nice and accommodating. Having the flower farm on the property was also a no brainer for us. It was a one stop shop which created the most amazing wedding day for us. Plenty of shade for the ceremony, even on one of the hottest days in July, so much fun with the animals nearby, the gorgeous property and flowers. We wish we could have partied all night! Book The Farmette for a flawless, laid back, amazing wedding day!
The Lyons Farmette is such a magical venue. My wedding was so amazing. You do have to get a day of wedding planner. Which ours was just so good. We went with Dahlias events and designs. Kayla was ours and I literally had no worries on my wedding day. Everything went so smooth. She was just wonderful.. The farmette grows flowers on the farm, so we ended going with their in-house florist and flowers. I knew they would do a good job, but did not know how good! The flowers were just everything and more. So if you’re looking for an beautiful venue, and a venue that does an amazing job . . . Then I would choose the Lyons Farmette.
Could not have asked for a better venue. Even the groomsmen commented on how much they loved it.
We had our wedding at The Farmette at the beginning of September and it was AMAZING! We received so many compliments from people saying it was the best wedding that have been to. The Farmette gives you the ability to customize and decorate as you please and hire your own vendors and they were super great to work with. The best part of the Farmette was using their in house coordinator, Dahlia Events and Designs, specifically, GEORGIA!! She was amazing and I do know how anything that day would have happened without her. All of the guests were even raving about her. She was on point with coordinating but also so laid back, she made me feel great the entire days and months leading up to it as well. Last but not least, we used Farmette Flowers (Kim and Helen) and they were phenomenal! I have never seen prettier flowers in my life and everything was perfection. I almost cried seeing my bouquet and the arrangements throughout the ceremony were just amazing. I couldnt have asked for a better day, place or vendors. Five stars is not enough.
We got married here and it was the most magical place! We used the in-house coordinator, Dahlia Events, and Tracey went above and beyond to make our day perfect. We also purchased our flowers through Farmette Flowers, all the flowers are grown on the property and my bouquet was literally the prettiest thing I’ve ever seen. The Farmette allows you to bring in your own alcohol/caterer. All my guests love the beautiful location and cute animals. I️t was truly an amazing day!
It's a great venue with a wonderful staff and plenty of room to spread out for your wedding guests!
The Lyons Farmette is BEAUTIFUL! We are so so happy that we got married there! We were looking for a somewhat laid-back, but still beautiful and well-maintained venue for our wedding. We had actually already sort-of-decided on a different venue, but still had our tour booked at Lyons Farmette, and figured we might as well check it out. Within 5 minutes on being on the property, my husband and I both turned to each other and went "this is where we have to get married!" It is such an intimate venue, but there's enough space for a fairly large wedding to not feel crowded or cramped at all. We are so glad that we chose to have our wedding here, and all of our guests raved about it as well!
We also used Farmette Flowers (the on-property florists) for our flowers, and they were absolutely stunning. Helen and her team did such an amazing job and really listened to our vision for our wedding. Everything was beautiful, and during dinner my husband and I couldn't stop talking about how much we loved all of the florals!
The Lyons Farmette is a magical place. We wanted to a venue with a laid-back, special vibe and the Farmette provided just that. The beautiful maintained lawn, the adorable animals, the gorgeous gardens, and the thoughtful little details come together to make the perfect spot for an intimate, memorable wedding.
Lauren, the venue manager, is wonderful. She goes above and beyond to make your vision happen and isn’t afraid to roll up her sleeves make things happen. Our caters were late because of traffic and so she was out there setting up tables and chairs to make sure if was all done in time.
We are so grateful we chose the Farmette!
The Farmette was the first venue we looked at and nothing after that even compared. We wanted to have a pretty casual, outdoorsy wedding and the alpacas and chickens added all the more fun! It was in the upper 90s on the day of our wedding, but the huge cottonwood tree kept us nice and cool and in the shade. The owners of the Farmette, Betsy and Mike, take such good care of their property and it really shows. The size of the venue was perfect for our fairly small wedding (final count was 89). Both of our families were absolutely amazed by the adorable venue, and our wedding was awesome!
Darcy made our day at riverbend perfect. The venue is beautiful but the people making the day possible was the best part. If I could I would just hang out with yall all day. Y'all are amazing and made me feel comfortable and relaxed!
We had a fabulous wedding at the Lyons Farmette in Lyons, CO. The setting is beautiful, the people are great, the accommodations supportive and the vendor list well researched. So many vendors that we spoke with were so excited about the possibility of working with us as soon as we told them that it would be held at the Farmette. They have a real farm where they grow organic produce and an amazing flower garden, both of which you can use for your wedding. The weather was perfect but they have great built in solutions just in case it isn't. There is a creek running through the property and big expansive green lawn surrounded by beautiful trees. They also have a sister property called the River Bend just down the road that is also beautiful and accommodates more guests. Betsy and Darcy helped us through all the details and really made our wedding day wonderful. I would highly recommend!!!
Kim from Farmette Flowers was so helpful in helping us out last minute as we (foolishly) thought we could do the flowers all ourselves. She was gracious in melding what we had with what she had to offer and came to the rescue when we had unforeseen needs very last minute. We ended up with beautiful arrangements of native flowers that really made our day pop. Thanks again!!!
We recently got married at the Farmette, and although the venue is beautiful, there were a few hiccups! We were required to choose vendors off the Farmette's preferred list. The caterer we chose from the list ended up being HORRENDOUS to work with and I cant help but be frustrated with the venue for recommending him. The farmette is also a stickler for rules- I mean, i get it, but it seemed a little extreme at the time. For example, guests arrived 20 minutes early for the rehearsal because they were coming from south Denver and did not want to be late. The Farmette called my wedding planner who basically called me to ask for permission to kick them off the property. Although, I understand the venue is private property, it still seemed a little extreme! So just make sure you read all of their rules and follow them closely or you will hear about it on the day of and before. Otherwise, the site is great and beautiful!
The Lyons Farmette was the perfect setting for our ceremony and reception. The grounds were so charming and I felt like the natural beauty of it made it so that I didn't have to add a lot in terms of decoration to dress it up. We had a very cute country wedding here, but I could see the grounds dressed up in a variety of ways to make many different themes of wedding possible. It was perfect for our price range and very cute. We will cherish our memories there forever.
We chose to have our ceremony and reception at the River Bend location instead of at the Farmette and it was better than we could have ever dreamed! The site is gorgeous and alone that made this venue worth while. However, Betsy and her team were accommodating and easy to work with. Also, we got our flowers through the Farmette! We worked with Helen from Farmette Flowers and they were stunning! Everything went flawlessly!
