er that all went downhill. No one answers their phones, if you need someone to call you back, be prepared to keep calling and emailing for days before a response. The day of setup (day before) we worked with the staff to set up a time, upon leaving after setup we were blasted by Shirley. First she was speaking to us like we were her children, extremely unacceptable. Scolding us about taking an empty box out the front door, explaining that she will have to call the owner and let them know that we "broke the rules", which we didn't even take the empty box because she was yelling at us before we even had the chance. The box was taken out a side door in the end. Yelling and telling us that the doors cost $7000 and we should know better. Well we didn't, no one not once said, by the way, don't even take an empty cardboard box out the front door more or less anything for that matter. Then she proceeded to scold us about how we weren't allowed to turn on the heat, seriously it was 25 degrees outside and what was she expecting? Plus, NO ONE told us we cant touch the AC unit. The most unprofessional staff out there, the owners should be looking into more reliable friendly staff! Upon arrival the day of the event, we had to have guests tell us that there was no paper towels or toilet paper in the restrooms. Really? We called of course and no one answered! Eventually, they responded to a text and said they would come to bring some. We had purchased large heat lamps and were unable to fit them in cars the night of the event. We emailed and texted to let them know we would be back the next morning. No response until the next day when Shirley decides to threaten us and say if they weren't picked up within 30 minutes that she was going to charge us hourly to store them. Really? A nice venue, with the worst people running it!

was professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. My wedding was an Orthodox Jewish and Russian wedding on a Sunday evening. Lisa gave us tips, was always willing to meet with us, and even helped set up the hall on the day of the wedding. My cocktail hour was held outside on the covered portico, ceremony was outdoors near the doors by the bar, and reception was inside the ballroom. We were able to set up the hall exactly how we wanted and Lisa was helpful and considerate as we made last-minute changes. There were few flowers because the hall was so beautiful, it did not need much to make it look better. It already looks very grand. Our guests stayed at a hotel only two miles away and we had a taxi transport our guests. If you are looking for a venue and want to make your wedding look a certain way, the Magnolia Room can help make it happen. If you are unsure, I recommend checking out the Magnolia Room to see if you like it. When my husband and I first saw the venue and spoke with Lisa, we decided that evening with little discussion that we were going to book the place. We could not be happier with our wedding and use of the Magnolia Room.

w we didn't want to have our wedding in a hotel ballroom, and this space was exactly what we were looking for. We did both our ceremony and reception here, as we had a lot of out of town guests and wanted to keep the traveling down as much as possible for them. It was so convenient to do so. We also loved the fact that we could bring in our own vendors & alcohol. So while some may look at the cost to rent the space as high, the fact that you can choose your costs for everything else, makes it a hard place to turn away from! Lisa was wonderful to work with, very helpful and responsive as well as her assistant (at the time of planning) Elise. Both were so great and made the planning process very enjoyable. They gave a list of vendor recommendations and were also always available for help and suggestions for decor/planning ideas and tips. Everyone at our wedding loved the Magnolia Room and commented on how gorgeous it was. We are so happy that our wedding was in such a wonderful, pretty & inviting space!

helpful. We worked with Elise and she was perfect for us! She listened and took care of our needs! The price of the room was a steal! It was so elegant and the room was everything I pictured! Later we came to find out that Elise had left the magnolia room, we ended us working with Lisa as it came closer to our wedding and she was a Godsend! We loved her!! My only bad comment is that the day of our wedding, no one from the Magnolia room was there to assist us when we got there. The weather was look quite doubtful for our outdoor ceremony and we all thought it might rain. I was upset no one was there to explain what plan B would have been if it had rain! Luckily the rain held off! I just wish Lisa or someone whom worked there was present on my wedding day, at least for a little while. I didn't like the fact that any questions we had, an answer was no where in site. However the room was perfect and was decorated beautifully and our wedding was amazing!

ceremony only wedding into a wedding with a reception as well. The venue is beautiful and pictures don't do it justice. Unlike a lot of other nice venues in the area, the Magnolia Room allows you to use any vendors, including caterers, that you like at no additional charge! The Magnolia Room's rental cost is in my opinion better than alot of other equally priced venues in the area because it includes chairs and tables of various sizes, staff set up of the tables and chairs on the morning of the wedding (and linens if you go thru First Impressions linen company), a rehearsal time the week of the wedding, and amongst other things, use of the venue for your entire wedding day! My husband and I did A LOT of venue searching for our wedding and surprisingly most venues we looked at did not even offer chairs, much less anything else, in their rental price! Also Elise and Lisa are soo sweet and helpful. They were both soo quick to respond to my emails containing soo many questions that I had about not just the venue but the flow of the wedding, our vendor's needs, etc. It was truely a wonderful experience working with them and we couldn't have picked a more perfect venue for our wedding!

ooking for. It is the perfect place to have an elegant wedding reception. Great floor for dancing, beautiful chandeliers, gorgeous bar area, nice bathroom, pretty foyer and private room for the bride. We received many compliments on how beautiful the room is. Best part?? You can bring your own caterer and alcohol, and you have the room the entire day - from 9am to midnight. Our suggestion - have the dance floor next to the wall beside of the DJ. We almost had the dance floor in the middle of the room, but the DJ convinced us otherwise and I'm glad he did.

and floor space are so elegant, there is no need for extravagant decorations.

te angel. She even helped us save close to $500.They have a room full of left overs from other weddings, so that helped cut the cost of mirrors & hurricane globes.
