Katrina is my favorite hair and makeup artist. I am a wedding photographer and I can't even begin to tell you how much easier she makes my job. She makes her clients look flawless....
If I were getting married, I would hire her without a doubt. Every bride that I have referred her to has loved their hair and makeup and everyone I have talked to about her has been really impressed with her work. I think she gets booked up fast for wedding season, so if she has your date available, I would book her as soon as you can!
Katrina is simply amazing. I was looking for a hair and make up artist for my wedding and stumbled across Katrina's portfolio online. I knew right there and then that I had to hire...
her, and I was so excited and fortunate to be able to book her for my wedding. Katrina is very responsive to emails, which is great. . In fact, I made a last minute decision to add hair and make up for the mothers, and she was able to accommodate it. It was after I booked Katrina, that I realized she actually did the hair and make up for one of my good friend's wedding for which I was a bridesmaid. My friend looked gorgeous in her wedding, and I knew I was in good hands with The Makeup Dolls.
They are exceptionally talented, and have an eye for bringing out the glamour and beauty in each individual. For my trial make up, Katrina recommended that I bring a photo of myself with my own make up on, so that she can make me look like a more beautiful version of myself. In the past, whenever I've gotten my make up done elsewhere, I never really liked it because it just didn't look like me. It was a version of what someone else thinks I should look like. Also, because I have single eyelids, most other make up artists didn't know how to deal with that. With Katrina, I LOVED my make up and I can't stop looking at myself in the mirror! She also knew what hair styles would work with my hair type. I brought photos of over eight hair styles that I couldn't decide on, and she was able to consult and pick out a hair style that I love, and works for me.
For my wedding day, Katrina was a joy to work with. She is a true professional, and knew exactly where to set up shop. She made me feel at ease on an otherwise hectic day, and gave me tips on how to keep my make up for the rest of the day. Katrina uses high quality professional make up that lasts the entire day. I didn't even have to do any touch up, she's that good. Katrina even mixed my very own lip gloss shade, and gave me some extra in a small jar in case I need it. I finished my hair and make up on time and was ahead of schedule. I can't thank her enough, for making me feel like a beautiful bride on one of the most important days of my life. I am so lucky to have found Katrina. If you're still reading this review, I highly recommend you book her now before it's too late!

ou have to get the best...and ladies, Katrina is the best.
For my wedding, I wanted old Hollywood style hair and makeup. I decided to grow out my thick Filipino hair to my waist. Katrina was able to style all of my hair into a gorgeous, opulent updo, there was no need for any extra hair accessories. My make up was flawless and lasted all night long.
I have never felt so glamorous in my entire life.
She is now my go to person for all hair and makeup.
Thank you Katrina!

air and makeup styles for the big day and what would be best for me. She had a lot of great input and ideas, and really just made everything so EASY (and what bride doesn't want that?!).
On the day of our wedding, Katrina and her team showed up at the hotel on time and got to work on my 8 bridesmaids and myself. Everyone was friendly, professional, and worked quickly but without making us feel rushed.
My makeup didn't budge the whole day and never have I seen my hair so awesomely big and full. Lets be real. THE WOMAN HAS SKILLS. I definitely would recommend her to any bride. THANK YOU ANN!
She's worth every penny...her work is priceless and she'll make you look better than you have ever looked in your life!

makeup for me, my mother, and my maid of honor and everyone commented on how natural and beautiful our makeup was. My other bridesmaids really wished they had opted to have Katrina do their makeup as well! I recently received my pictures and they are beautiful. Katrina is professional, yet laid-back. She made me feel comfortable as well as my bridal party on the day of the wedding. I would highly recommend Katrina, particularly if you are worried about looking clown-like, or overly made up on your wedding day. If I could have Katrina do my makeup every day, I would :-)

oment I met with her at my trial, she made me feel so at ease with her bright smile and warm personality. The make-up she uses lasted well into the night. She even supplies you with make-up to touch up throughout the night. She was on time, professional, and listened carefully when I told her the look I envisioned for my wedding day. And she delivered exactly that -- a natural, yet elegant look!
All of my bridesmaids also had their make-up done by her. They all looked stunning as well!
I cannot say enough good things about Katrina and the quality of service you will receive when you book her!
Katrina is an amazing make up artist. I'm sure that goes without saying, considering her ratings on the knot, but she truly is. Not only did she make my girls and I look like super...
models, but she was so patient and nice with my mother (who is beyond difficult to deal with). She went above and beyond when doing my mother's make up and it really showed what a true professional she is.
Additionally, Katrina's makeup applications come with false eyelash application, which adds an extra pop to the overall look.
Overall, I don't think I've ever looked as pretty as I did the day of my wedding, thanks to Katrina. Do yourself a favor and book her for your wedding! Although you will really have to book in advance, she books up early from what I understand.
Thank you so much Katrina!!!
Although we are friends Katrina remained extremely professional . We scheduled a consultation, and she took detailed notes. She took her time to make sure everything was how I want...
ed it to be. She was very meticulous during the consultation with lots of smiles. Even after the consultation, I wore my makeup out to dinner because it looked flawless and beautiful. I received many compliments about my makeup that night which got me even more excited about my actual wedding day !
When the wedding day finally arrived Katrina blew my expectations out of the water! She did my makeup, which I loved, as well as my mother and sister's makeup, which looked amazing! She loves to make women feel beautiful especially on their wedding day and that, I did!! I could not have asked for anything better. As she was busy doing all of the makeup she still managed to help me remain calm by laughing together. Laughing is good for the soul. A true professional with a passion for what she loves. She truly is the best at what she does!
Thank you for everything, Katrina aka The Makeup Doll!
