ver looked and felt.. and bring to life everything I had wished for with my look, she is literally one of the kindest souls I have ever came across. Working with Kayla felt like my sister that I never had did my makeup for my wedding day... and she is BEYOND talented. She has such a passion for makeup and LOVES love and it shows in every way working with her. She got back to me so quickly when I reached out to her and booking everything was so so simple! I sent her countless photos and messages of all of my inspiration and hopes for my big day and she was so understanding and excited in her responses and just made the whole experience amazing and worry free even before meeting her! Planning with her was also such a great experience with timing and everything, she is so organized and you need this for your wedding day! My trial run with her validated everything and just made me even more confident that I was going to feel and look as beautiful as I had hoped for as a bride. She is so so professional, punctual, personable and so so kind, soft spoken and has the cutest southern accent! My makeup stayed perfect for the ENTIRE day of my wedding. I never had to touch it up.. even after crying numerous times haha and it looked as perfect in photos as it did in real life. My girls and my mom LOVED her and It truly felt like my bestie did my makeup for my wedding and all the while made my face look like an actual work of art. I remember so vividly the moment I looked in the mirror after she was done on my big day and I was almost in tears and really couldn’t stop smiling. I think having her do my makeup for several occasions prior to the wedding made us both feel more at ease at knowing what her customers expectations and vision is. that it comes with so much more than just coverage and a little color. When she first saw me in the trial, my face was unbelievably dry. She didn’t make me feel bad. She made the trail work despite how my facial conditions were. The combinations were nice on me but when I saw myself in a picture I felt that I didn’t recognize myself. From the time of the trial to the wedding, I sent her couple of pictures and examples of how we can tweak things on my wedding day. And thankfully we adjusted things very nicely. She was very calm and pleasant. It was really nice to have someone just relax you while you get your makeup done. Some people look for an easy way for a free trial, but you should really consider the fact that she uses great products and clean utensils and obviously a plus is that you get to leave her studio with a nice look even if it’s not exactly what you are looking for.

My hairdresser, Matthew Tully, found out about it and asked if I had anybody doing my makeup? I said no, I was going to go to another salon down the street that did wedding makeup. He said I’ve got a makeup artist that does my wife’s makeup.
I eagerly text Kayla to see if she was available. Being last minute and on a Friday I wasn’t getting my hopes up.
Kayla responded within the hour and she said she had just finished with a bridal party and could meet me at my hotel room at 4:00. We had photos scheduled at 5:00.
Wow! I was so excited. She showed up promptly and set her lights up and makeup galore!
She made me feel so special it just made our celebration even better than I ever expected. She isn’t just an amazing makeup artist; she is a transformation artist. Making you feel beautiful and ready for your debut!

We also needed an additional makeup artist to get everyone done on time, and the artist she brought was amazingly talented as well! Kayla handled all the arrangements and made a timeline so all artists and wedding party members were on the same page. She was easy to communicate with and a professional throughout the entire process.
My makeup on my wedding day was flawless! I’m a light makeup wearer and she was able to give me bridal makeup that still felt true to my style. My eyes looked incredible, my makeup stayed on all night, and I didn’t once feel cakey or uncomfortable. She even helped cover an annoying scratch that I was so worried about- it was practically invisible. My bridesmaids all looked fantastic and she was able to work with different skin types, glasses-wearers who were nervous about false lashes, and a range of girls from makeup enthusiasts to those who don’t wear any at all. She listened to everyone’s needs! My mom and mother-in-law looked amazing as well! Added bonus- the shade of lipstick she chose for me was perfect and getting to keep it is a sweet keepsake from that day. I wore it out every night during our honeymoon. We had a trial run about a month before the wedding and she made me feel SO COMFORTABLE and special. I didn't give her much direction (because what bride actually knows what she wants, other than glowy, natural but beautiful?!?) and she rocked it.
Day of she was there early, with another makeup artist -because I had a million gals in my bridal party- and we started getting ready.
