My only feedback is that I wish they had a way for each person to pay for their services individually. I have heard of salons having a swipe and go method where each person pays for their own service and then on to the next one. That is my only feedback. :)

The mane attractions owner Carla Hall has all of the tips and tricks up her sleeve to give you exactly what you ask for, her work was incredible and stood out amongst any salon I have been too, any wedding I have been a part of and had my hair done in and I would guarantee you’ll be back later for other services. Our entire wedding party had our hair done early in the morning and it lasted without the drop of a single pin through the night. A remarkable talent this business has with event styles, you will not be disappointed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Carla had offered advice for the bridesmaids hair due to the ceremony being outside and she was 100% correct, it was a pretty windy day and their hair held the whole time and throughout the night. They were very professional and finished in a timely manner, we were right on time.

y arrived very early in the a.m. & traveled quite a distance, but that was just part of their service/routine. They had quite the smooth system going too; working on hair to makeup etc. Personally, my hair is long (and I ll Jr it down, but Carla convinced me to put it up in curls. It was gorgeous, everyone complimented on it. Everyone should not hesitate to utilize the quality & techniques of The Mane Attraction! Big city styles from a small town shop!

er. I told them about my wedding event and about my previous hair dresser and how I need someone to do my hair for my wedding. I had an appointment the next day to decide on how I wanted my hair done for my wedding. Carla was so thoughtful, prompt, patient, and gave me many options for my special day! The Mane Attraction also has a makeup specialist. I had my makeup done for my Wedding at the same time after my hair was done. Carla made my day very special. Everyone told me how beautiful I looked on the day of my Wedding!!! The Mane Attraction has my business now!!! I had a small wedding event and I already had a vendor before I met Carla (Mane Attraction). This place is a hidden gem!!!!

ion anything at the time because I am not very confrontational and like to give people some grace. I thought maybe once I was in different lighting, or I saw how I looked in pictures, I could feel different about it. I didn’t, in fact, I felt worse. I was there for 46 min (because as they mentioned several times they were on the way to a wedding) and felt rushed the entire time, so rushed I didn’t have much time to even process the whole experience. It is not just about the outcome of the hair and makeup (which I didn’t like). So, on top of feeling rushed, I don’t really think a close look was taken of either the picture of the hair or makeup that I provided. Very little questions were asked to ensure what I wanted. My hair had very little volume, no hair pulled out around my face, the twist/braid was barely there…I wasn’t asked about hair pieces, the dryer temperature was burning my head, a cape wasn’t provided to cover my clothes, the stylist was incredibly rough. I wasn't asked about my skin type. My makeup had little coverage, little to no blush or bronzer, no contouring, there was so much silver or highlighter under my eyes though, aging me incredibly cakey. The picture I provided for eyes had gold, copper, bronze…but mine looked silver and brown. The Makeup was not blended on my neck and ears, so a major difference was showing in the sunlight. On top of it all, my skin broke out after and has been itchy. While I was there the workers were bad mouthing people in town. I brought all this to the attention of the owner who was also the one who did my hair. She did say she was sorry I was not satisfied and offered for me to come back in. If it was just the outcome of the hair and makeup I would have but since the whole experience was not good. I suggested a refund and my deposit for the wedding back since there was 45 days for them to book other clients. She said sorry we don't do refunds! best wishes! I spent $190 on the trail and $200 deposit. I'm out $390 and will be doing my own hair for the wedding. Worst experience I have ever had any where!

l say that she seemed a little less skilled than I would have liked my make up artist to be, and I had to be refresh her on what she was even supposed to do for my makeup on the day of because she didn’t take a pictures from our trial. Other than that she was very easy to work with.

tion to their work. 6 of us had hair done for my wedding and they finished us all in 2 hours! Everyone's hair looked fabulous and stayed all day! We felt like hair models lol. They explained what they were doing the products being put in our hair and how to add the veil and secured everything perfectly. Showed my girls how to fix my hair if it happened to fall some. Our hair did not budge all day! From hours before ceremony even began to photos in SIUE Gardens to dancing the night away not a piece nor a curl fell! Through all the sweat, dancing hugs and tugs it didn't fall a bit! I even fell asleep without taking my hair down and it didn't move even through sleep!!! Now that's some staying power! These ladies do not disappoint.
