The Mansion on Turner Hill

hout the time we worked with her. She was calm, patient, and fun to work with. She really tried to make all of our special requests possible! Turner Hill itself is a stunning venue. It is full of interesting history, character and charm on the interior (several movies were filmed there) and the gardens are beautiful. Many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the venue. It rained on our wedding day and the staff at Turner Hill smoothly transitioned a 200+ person wedding from the garden to the ballroom. Many of the other venues we looked at in the area did not have rain locations I would've been super happy with. This one really felt special. Turner Hill works exclusively with Vinwood Caterers who do a great job. One guest told me they were still thinking about the shrimp and grits appetizer weeks after the wedding. We had many folks at our wedding with allergies and the team was so accommodating which was really important to me. One thing that is unique about the venue is that dinner is served in an outdoor tent (at least for larger weddings) and then everyone transitions into the mansion for dancing. I was worried about how this might go, but I actually think it encouraged people to mingle and dance more rather than being tied to their tables. There are also several interesting rooms throughout the mansion to hang out in for people who may not be as into dancing or who want a quieter space. I know several of our guests really appreciated that space. Overall, we were thrilled with how everything turned out and would highly recommend Turner Hill. Thank you, thank you to Tara and crew : )

low of the day, details, service, and experience would be perfect. I'm happy to report that she was above and beyond to make our day a one to never forget, for both ourselves and our guests. The venue is exceptional, and offered the vintage theme that we were going for. We knew this location would be the one based on the access to various rooms in the mansion, the grounds outside where we had our outdoor ceremony, and the vast amount of areas to take photos. The Mansion on Turner Hill utilizes Vinwood Catering as their food source, which couldn't of been a better option, as guests continue to rave about the quality of the food. Overall, we couldn't of had a better day, and it was all thanks to Carol and her staff for executing the flow of the day perfectly.

as the inside of the mansion are gorgeous, the grounds are spacious and meticulously well-maintained. Don't be fooled by a "tent" wedding - this tent comes with inlaid lights, teak flooring and high ceilings. Plus, you get full run of the mansion - the library, the ballroom, the hallways, bride's room and groom's room. It's amazing. Carol and Vinwood Caterers truly know how to run a show - not only did they make sure the bridal party and bride and groom were fed, they went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. I'm a bride who has many questions, and Carol made me feel like literally everything was taken care of, at all times. Yes, it's pricey, but you get what you pay for. And that's a truly awesome wedding venue.
