The Mansion on Turner Hill

Wow I don’t know where to start. My husband and I are truly so blessed that we found Turner Hill…. It was the perfect fit for us and the vibe we wanted for our wedding. We got married October 25th, 2025. When we first toured Turner Hill, we fell in love with the gorgeous old world/great gatsby vibes it gave. And not only that, but we immediately clicked with Tara. When you know you know as the saying goes, and we truly knew it would be the wedding of our dreams and it was. Everything was perfect from start to finish we want to keep reliving the day over and over again. The staff from top to bottom was PHENOMENAL and Tara is one of a kind. Myself and my mom always had dozens of questions to ask her at a time and she always was extremely helpful and patient :) HAVE YOUR WEDDING AT TURNER HILL!!!! You will be SO happy as my husband and I are.

We got married on 5/20/23 and had the best day! Tara and her team at Turner Hill were incredible from the beginning. Tara quickly and patiently answered our many questions throughout the time we worked with her. She was calm, patient, and fun to work with. She really tried to make all of our special requests possible! Turner Hill itself is a stunning venue. It is full of interesting history, character and charm on the interior (several movies were filmed there) and the gardens are beautiful. Many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the venue. It rained on our wedding day and the staff at Turner Hill smoothly transitioned a 200+ person wedding from the garden to the ballroom. Many of the other venues we looked at in the area did not have rain locations I would've been super happy with. This one really felt special. Turner Hill works exclusively with Vinwood Caterers who do a great job. One guest told me they were still thinking about the shrimp and grits appetizer weeks after the wedding. We had many folks at our wedding with allergies and the team was so accommodating which was really important to me. One thing that is unique about the venue is that dinner is served in an outdoor tent (at least for larger weddings) and then everyone transitions into the mansion for dancing. I was worried about how this might go, but I actually think it encouraged people to mingle and dance more rather than being tied to their tables. There are also several interesting rooms throughout the mansion to hang out in for people who may not be as into dancing or who want a quieter space. I know several of our guests really appreciated that space. Overall, we were thrilled with how everything turned out and would highly recommend Turner Hill. Thank you, thank you to Tara and crew : )
