I am SO happy my husband found Thomas to officiant our wedding. He did a truly fantastic job during our ceremony, and was the perfect combination of calming, light-hearted, sincere and professional. We also took premarital counseling through Thomas before hand, which I would highly recommend! I definitely will be recommended Thomas to family and friends in the future!

Thomas did a perfect job officiating our wedding ceremony. My HUSBAND :) and I both knew only after a minute after meeting Thomas that we would want him to officiate our vows. He eludes a sincerity and that transfers onto his speaking which made our ceremony very honest and sincere. He also was able to lighten our nerves during the ceremony which we appreciated and so did our guests and they chuckled here and there, which was awesome and made it really fun and enjoyable for my husband and I to enjoy our ceremony!! We both highly recommend his professional services.

Thomas did an amazing job officiating our wedding ceremony. We met with him so that we could get to know him and vice versa. His calm and kind demeanor instantly put us at ease. He provided us with a template, which we tailored to fit our exact vision. He was very flexible with every aspect of the ceremony, from theme, to speakers, to specific quotes. We were slightly anxious about being in front of all of our friends and family, but having Thomas to guide us was a calming influence. Thank you, Thomas!

We are so grateful that we met Thomas through one of our friends. Thomas is awesome!!! He is very down to earth and made us feel so comfortable as soon as we met. We set up some marriage counseling sessions with Thomas before our wedding and it helped us communicate better and love each other even more than we thought was possible! He gave us exercises to use to strengthen our relationship for many years to come, and we cannot thank him enough for all that he did for us! My husband and I loved having Thomas, and now friend, marrying us! He is a super fun guy, and I hope yall love him as much as we do.

Thomas was very easy to work with. His schedule was flexible when it comes to meeting up to discuss ceremony wording and logistics. He patiently guided us through the process to make our wedding ceremony unique and reflective of our personalities. He even worked with us on our personal wedding vows, and after many revisions, the final product was so much better than what we started with. He was also very helpful during the rehearsal, providing some guidance on how to keep from fainting, how to deal with nervousness, etc. We received a lot of compliments from guests on our officiant selection. We originally chose Thomas as our officiant because we liked the personality and values that he portrayed on his website. All of that positivity and great energy came through at the wedding! We look forward to using him again, down the road, whenever we have our vows renewed!

We weren't really sure what we were looking for when we started shopping for wedding officiants, but when we found Thomas, we knew we would be happy with him! He did a great job with our wedding ceremony. He helped us come up with the ceremony script that worked for us. Most importantly, he was calm and reassuring throughout the ceremony, which made us comfortable. We recommend him with great enthusiasm!

Thomas Billings is amazing. You are likely looking for an officiant, but with Thomas, not only did he make our wedding ceremony meaningful and lovely, but I truly believe that he gave us the gift of a healthy start to our marriage. He gave us the tools to communicate and keep our relationship strong while also helping us work through personal issues that would affect our marriage in the long run. My husband and I feel closer and more prepared for our journey ahead because of Thomas. When we feel that we are "off" we inevitably return to the practices and insights that Thomas provided. The ceremony is important, but the marriage is more so and I think he really gave us a leg up for the road ahead. Bonus! I even showed my own parents a few of his exercises and they have even said that it brought them closer as well.

We happened to find Thomas while searching for someone to perform our ceremony at the Butterfly Center at HMNS. We could not be more pleased with Thomas! He is very kind, patient and accommodated our requests with enthusiasm. He provided a template which helped us create the perfect vows. Thomas has a great voice and was very personable to everyone at our event. If he is available, don't think twice, just book with him!

Thomas did such an amazing job with officiating our wedding! We had a very last minute wedding and had to make some quick decisions. The first time we talked to Thomas, he made us feel at ease and comfortable by being so personable and engaging with our opinions. He wanted us to know that this is "our wedding" and our wedding should show our personalities. He gave us a document for the wedding and helped us customize it to our taste. We wanted to write vows to our kids and Thomas helped us with ideas on how to incorporate them. He was a wealth of knowledge! The day of the wedding, Thomas was available early which put our wedding day jitters to rest. Not to mention the wedding was on a family ranch which was 140 miles out of Houston. He came prepared for any missteps the wedding may have had. We would recommended Thomas to anyone wanting the prefect wedding!

My husband and I moved to Houston a few years ago and didn't personally know someone that could officiate our wedding. We contacted our church and they recommended Thomas. Thomas was extremely helpful and contacted us right away to meet and discuss what we pictured for our ceremony. When we met for our first meeting, he told us a little about himself and made us feel extremely comfortable. I mentioned some ideas and he said that he had several resources that he could send us to help plan our ceremony. He sent them in a timely manner and was available via email with any questions I had. After we had a general idea of what we wanted, he met with us to finalize all of the details. Throughout the whole process, he was extremely helpful and personable. He even met with us after the wedding because I forgot to bring the marriage license to the wedding! I would recommend Thomas as an officiant to anyone who is searching for a wonderful experience!

My husband and I got married on January, 30, 2016 and it was truly the most wonderful day of our lives. A big part of that day’s success was Thomas Billings. The premarital work we did with him 6 months prior to our big day made our day [and our relationship] that more special. By the time our wedding day rolled around Thomas knew us extremely well and was able to officiate the wedding with a level of comfort and professionalism that we will always look back on with awe. Thomas was amazing! The moment we met him (interviewing him) we knew he was the counselor for us. He is real, honest, and kind. We were looking for someone who could talk about real life issues and situations that might come up and Thomas always had a great example to help explain the best way to work through those issues. Our favorite quote from him is "This issue will always be existent in your marriage and it's how you communicate and work through it that will keep your marriage together and successful." Those words were so comforting because it isn't about changing someone, it's about loving them for who they are and how to work through issues. Every marriage will have issues and people are stubborn and stuck in their ways (especially us), and Thomas helps your recognize when those issues fester up and create a way to work through them. Thomas provides you with tools for a successful marriage, they are simple and help you communicate better with other, and honestly that's what it's all about... Communication!!!! Thomas will walk you through a detailed personality test called the Birkman Method. It’s goal is to define leading behaviors and perform a personality assessment of an individual. At first we felt apprehensive, but when we sat down with him to go over the results we learned a LOT about ourselves and each other. Well I loved it! We learned so much and from time to time we reflect on our results when we are making decisions and working through issues. It really helps you understand who your partner is and why he/she is the way they are. You think you know now, but wait till you get your results, it's mind blowing! Throughout our counseling (about 8 sessions) we both felt comfortable with Thomas. He was easy to talk to and a fantastic listener. We are thankful for Thomas and the words of wisdom he gave us. We whole heartedly recommend Thomas to walk you through one of the best chapters of your life. You will learn a lot and hopefully strengthen your relationship with your best friend as we have. We attending one of Thomas' Gottman workshops and had a great experience! With just two other couples in the class, there was plenty of personal attention and lots of time for interaction. We were impressed with the material and felt that we learned a lot of practical information. Thomas was also super-accommodating, allowing us to bring our newborn into the class and arranging a space at the building where we could leave our older child with a sitter. Having two kids had previously kept us from doing things like this class to support our marriage, and it was awesome to see that Thomas recognized that as a barrier and did everything he could to help us attend anyway.

Thomas was so helpful in our pre-marital counseling, and it was our honor to have him officiate our wedding! He was very warm and easy to get to know, and was so pleasant to work with. He was sensitive to any issues that my husband and I brought into our counseling sessions, which I really appreciated. The sessions that we had were extremely beneficial in our marriage. Thomas taught us that he could never prevent us from fighting, but he could teach us to "fight well", and he definitely did that! We are so grateful to Thomas for what he taught us about ourselves and our relationship. He also performed a wonderful wedding ceremony that our guests are STILL raving about (the wedding was 11 months ago!). It was exactly what we asked for, and we could not be more pleased!

Thomas was amazing throughout our entire process of wedding planning and premarital counseling. We had an unusual wedding (surprise wedding to all of our guest) due to a move to Thailand. He helped out so much with not only anxiety of the wedding but also the move. He is extremely flexible and easy to work with, which we needed because all of our planning was about only 3 months. The ceremony was great and we can not thank Thomas enough. We plan to use him for life coaching and relationship counseling once we return to the states.

Thomas made our wedding ceremony feel like us. He was there to guide us through the process, as well as let us put our personal stamp on our ceremony. He is very professional and genuine. His love for his work is evident when interacting with him. Having Thomas by your side through the ceremony process alleviates some of the stresses that come along with wedding planning. I am thankful Thomas was there on our wedding day!

Thomas was incredible as our wedding officiant. Very responsive to emails and questions we had. Absolutely no pressure first meeting with him and get to know him. He offers a number of different premarital classes and training that are great as well. I couldn't suggest Thomas more for your wedding.

Thomas was wonderful! I cannot say enough about his flexibility and joyful spirit. We had a lovely Christian marriage and wanted to incorporate "tying the knot" Eccl 4:9-12. into our day. Thomas was awesome and guided us through the process. Going through the ceremony made me nervous, but Thomas was so funny he lightened the mood so I could shine for my groom. I would recommend Thomas without any reservations to anyone!

Thomas did an excellent job officiating our wedding! He was collaborative and really listened to what we wanted for our more traditional ceremony. Thomas Billings is a wonderful person. He was very personable for the moment we met him. Additionally, he was very flexible with his scheduling times to accommodate both of us (night shift and day shift workers). During our sessions, we learned various things about ourselves as individuals and as a couple that the other did not know. This knowledge gave us insight on how to better communicate with each other.
