We were set on using a special cake topper that had been gifted to us and held a lot of sentimental value. It was on the larger side, but The Masters Baker was incredibly accommodating. They offered several creative solutions to make it work and even allowed us to have a larger-than-usual top tier at no extra cost so the topper would fit perfectly. The final result was beautiful—the cake looked amazing, the topper fit just right, and it tasted every bit as good as it looked!

The vendor also provides a "replica" top tier on your one-year anniversary, so you don't have to worry about eating frozen cake. The only downside is that we don't live in the Philly-area and they are not able to ship. Maybe we'll have to come back and visit to cash in on the perk...

dding cake on the day of the wedding was a highlight for us to see it all come together. We chose their peekaboo style cake which let us add in extra personality to our cake on one side, while leaving the other side more traditional which was perfect. Our guests all loved the design and said the cake tasted great! From the first tasting we knew we were in good hands. The cake was included in our package through our venue, but we chose to do upgrades, which were all reasonably priced. We highly recommend to anyone who wants cake that looks and tastes delicious to use The Master's Baker.

The cake was no a big deal to us so this did not end up mattering. The cake did turn out beautifully and exactly as we had discussed. were so impressed with all the flavors! I did not have a great idea of what I wanted the design to be but brought some inspiration photos. The team helped and the designing actually turned out to be quite fun! The cake looked absolutely beautiful and so many guests commented on that, as well as how delicious it was!

The cake tasting was one of my favorite days leading up to the wedding. I am a self-proclaimed “non-dessert eater”, and had left the cake flavor choice up to my now-husband. HOWEVER, I think I ended up eating more of the cake samples and might be a sweet lover now. We chose carrot cake and pound cake for our four-tiered cake, and a elegant, white piped design. The carrot-cake was a crowd favorite and was all any of our guests could talk about! We also had an unusual request – our cake topper was a mini figurine of our dog and we wanted it to look like he was eating the cake! Master’s Bake took the challenge and delivered. The cake was absolutely beautiful. We would highly recommend Master’s Baker if you would like a stunning cake that also tastes DELICIOUS!

Overall, they were pretty easy to work with, although we did have some occasional difficulty getting in contact with Beth, leading to some logistical confusion regarding whether and when the cake would be delivered. Nonetheless, we are super grateful because we ended up having some last minute changes to the cake design, which they handled in stride and ultimately created for us our dream wedding cake. Of course, I have to mention that the cake was DELICIOUS! We would happily work with The Master's Baker again and can't wait to visit again to pick up our complimentary 1 year anniversary cake next year!

ere a little concerned with how much flexibility we'd have with picking. Luckily, we personally had lots of options to choose from and could choose to pay extra if we wanted to upgrade. There are tons of cake and icing flavors, as well as jams, to choose from! We chose their chocolate chip cake with vanilla buttercream icing and were very happy with our choice. Our guests loved it too, and many people said that it was the best wedding cake that they ever had. The design looked exactly like the sample they showed us too. We did a tasting meeting and worked with Beth. She was very professional and kind, balancing being available for questions with giving us time to talk about the flavors alone. She made the process easy and fun! And because we were the last appointment of the day, she let us take home some of the leftover cake, so we got to share it with our families. We also got mini desserts from them as part of our venue package and while we didn't get the chance to try them ourselves, our guests said that they were delicious too. Definitely recommend The Master's Baker!

I surprised them by ordering the cake. Unfortunately, when they tried the cake it tasted disgusting. It tasted exactly like Dawn dish soap. This led to my mom throwing up after just one bite. When speaking with the owner (Chad) he explained that the cake tasted perfectly fine and that this was the original recipe. My parents and I tried to talk to him respectfully, but he kept on raising his voice and he continuously stated “ I’m done, I don’t have time for this”. Chad does not have appropriate customer service and it is apparent that he has a short temper. When my mother decided to write a review Chad decided he would not give me my refund. Before the review was posted he had stated “ I would give you a full refund, which is something I don’t usually do.” Chad told me the only way I could get my refund is if my mother took down her review and apologized to his staff in an email. Knowing that my mother was right for being upset since the cake was in fact disgusting. I do not understand why he would not give me the refund when it wasn't my review. If we want to get technical, anyone that enters an establishment is entitled to their own opinions, thoughts and feelings. Chad these reviews are for you to learn from your mistakes to improve yourself as a business and as a person so, respectfully Chad here is my review since you do not understand the importance of professional and respectful customer service.
