Master’s Baked recently did our wedding cake and it was amazing!! Not only was the design beautiful but the cake was delicious as well! They have so many great cake options/combinations and tons of design flexibility! They worked with us to pick the perfect flavors and to create a design that matched the theme we were going for at our wedding! Loved working with them and plan to go back for many future events!

The cake came with our catering package and was not initially something I had strong feelings about. They were very easy to work with. Our cake was delicious and turned out beautifully. They have an almond flavored cake which was very good and felt more unique. Everything felt a little like an upcharge if you deviated from their “basics”. The cake was no a big deal to us so this did not end up mattering. The cake did turn out beautifully and exactly as we had discussed. Bonus they make you a little mini cake for your anniversary which I thought was very sweet.

We had the best experience with the Master's Baker. They were professional and the cakes were delicious! Gi was great to work with and helped us with the 3-D aspect of the wedding cake. We were so happy with how our cake came out and would definitely choose them all over again if we had to!

We got paired with the master’s baker due to our catering contract with Serock. Communication was great, the tasting was even better! I definitely recommend the custom tasting. We were so impressed with all the flavors! I did not have a great idea of what I wanted the design to be but brought some inspiration photos. The team helped and the designing actually turned out to be quite fun! The cake looked absolutely beautiful and so many guests commented on that, as well as how delicious it was!

We were lucky enough to have Master’s Baker design and bake our cake for our August 31st wedding! They were partnered with our caterer, but Master’s Baker was already on our list of bakers because we have used them many times for various events throughout my family’s life and couldn’t have not had one of their cakes at our wedding! The cake tasting was one of my favorite days leading up to the wedding. I am a self-proclaimed “non-dessert eater”, and had left the cake flavor choice up to my now-husband. HOWEVER, I think I ended up eating more of the cake samples and might be a sweet lover now. We chose carrot cake and pound cake for our four-tiered cake, and a elegant, white piped design. The carrot-cake was a crowd favorite and was all any of our guests could talk about! We also had an unusual request – our cake topper was a mini figurine of our dog and we wanted it to look like he was eating the cake! Master’s Bake took the challenge and delivered. The cake was absolutely beautiful. We would highly recommend Master’s Baker if you would like a stunning cake that also tastes DELICIOUS!

Our cake from The Master's Baker was absolutely gorgeous and delicious. We had so much fun at our cake tasting selecting our flavors, and loved that they gave us privacy so that we could talk about our thoughts on the different flavors without feeling rushed. My wife and I had a wonderful experience going to the bakery to try all the flavors for our cake tasting. We had a cake included in our package with the venue we chose and they were so helpful in helping us design the cake of our dreams! My favorite part of the entire process is that we get a free anniversary cake for our first year anniversary so we didn’t even have to save the top tier! We can’t wait to reminisce in a year from now together over more of our delicious wedding cake!! Couldn’t recommend them enough!!

We had a good experience working with The Master's Baker to create our wedding cake. We had a great time working with Beth at our cake tasting, and they let us take all the samples home! Overall, they were pretty easy to work with, although we did have some occasional difficulty getting in contact with Beth, leading to some logistical confusion regarding whether and when the cake would be delivered. Nonetheless, we are super grateful because we ended up having some last minute changes to the cake design, which they handled in stride and ultimately created for us our dream wedding cake. Of course, I have to mention that the cake was DELICIOUS! We would happily work with The Master's Baker again and can't wait to visit again to pick up our complimentary 1 year anniversary cake next year!

My now-husband and I are big dessert fans and we both were thrilled with our wedding cake from The Master's Baker! With the cake being included in our wedding venue's package, we were a little concerned with how much flexibility we'd have with picking. Luckily, we personally had lots of options to choose from and could choose to pay extra if we wanted to upgrade. There are tons of cake and icing flavors, as well as jams, to choose from! We chose their chocolate chip cake with vanilla buttercream icing and were very happy with our choice. Our guests loved it too, and many people said that it was the best wedding cake that they ever had. The design looked exactly like the sample they showed us too. We did a tasting meeting and worked with Beth. She was very professional and kind, balancing being available for questions with giving us time to talk about the flavors alone. She made the process easy and fun! And because we were the last appointment of the day, she let us take home some of the leftover cake, so we got to share it with our families. We also got mini desserts from them as part of our venue package and while we didn't get the chance to try them ourselves, our guests said that they were delicious too. Definitely recommend The Master's Baker!

My parents loved their wedding cake so much that they decided every year on their anniversary, they would get the top- tiered part of the cake. This is their second anniversary so I surprised them by ordering the cake. Unfortunately, when they tried the cake it tasted disgusting. It tasted exactly like Dawn dish soap. This led to my mom throwing up after just one bite. When speaking with the owner (Chad) he explained that the cake tasted perfectly fine and that this was the original recipe. My parents and I tried to talk to him respectfully, but he kept on raising his voice and he continuously stated “ I’m done, I don’t have time for this”. Chad does not have appropriate customer service and it is apparent that he has a short temper. When my mother decided to write a review Chad decided he would not give me my refund. Before the review was posted he had stated “ I would give you a full refund, which is something I don’t usually do.” Chad told me the only way I could get my refund is if my mother took down her review and apologized to his staff in an email. Knowing that my mother was right for being upset since the cake was in fact disgusting. I do not understand why he would not give me the refund when it wasn't my review. If we want to get technical, anyone that enters an establishment is entitled to their own opinions, thoughts and feelings. Chad these reviews are for you to learn from your mistakes to improve yourself as a business and as a person so, respectfully Chad here is my review since you do not understand the importance of professional and respectful customer service.

The Master's Baker is perfect! They created the most lusciously delicious cake for us! We met one-on-one with a cake designer there who presented us with so many options for color, shape, and flavors. They let us taste every option, and even went to their kitchen to see if they had additional things we wanted to try (which they did!). The final cake was gorgeous and delicious, and we are still receiving compliments from our guests for it!

The Master's Baker team was truly a joy to work with and we were so lucky that they were the joint company with our venue, Finley Catering. From the onset of the tasting, we were greeted by Aly with such joy and excitement for our special day. The designers were ready and able to show us all of the free options that were provided since they were a partnership with Finley Catering, while also explaining how we were able to upgrade any of the design elements that would best fit our needs. The cakes were beyond delicious. We loved being able to pair the different flavors of icing/fillings with the different flavors of cakes in order for us to see which pairings we enjoyed the most and to see which would be the best for all of our differing opinions from family and friends. The thing we also really enjoyed about the experience was that Aly gave us so much free range with our decision making - she asked about what kind of styles we were leaning most towards and also asked us if we had any inspirations that we were hoping to emulate, but she also allowed my husband and I to have the room to ourselves so that we could openly talk, discuss flavor profiles, and think about our visions without someone watching our every move. In the end, we decided that we would have an option available for the "free option," but we knew our hearts were really hoping to create a completely unique cake. We showed her 4 different style inspirations of cakes we saw on Pinterest along with how we wanted our cake to look, if we were to upgrade. Aly took diligent notes about our requests, presented a drawing from the designers with a thought on how our vision could be brought to life, and the cost associated with upgrading. We were actually shocked at how reasonable the price was for the upgrade for a 4-tier cake so we went with that. The finished product was absolutely breathtaking and it far-exceeded any dream we could have had for our wedding cake. To be frank, we teared up when we saw the cake and were completely speechless about how they brought our vision to life. At the end of it all, we did save our top tier to try to still enjoy the tradition, but we also love that Master's Baker also provides a free anniversary cake for us to enjoy as our one year anniversary approaches. We may do some flavor upgrades, because their cakes are just that good! Thank you for working with us and making our special day even more amazing!

Our wedding cake was a HUGE hit! We did a Philly sports meets burgundy winter wedding theme and it was more beautiful than I could have even imagined. I got so many compliments on the cake design but also on the flavor!! It was delicious. We also really loved being able to go in for a cake tasting during our wedding planning. Definitely an incredible experience and we will be using TMB for future cakes for sure!!

Our wedding cake was by The Master Baker and it was absolutely delicious and so beautiful! We had a December wedding with a rustic vibe and asked for icing pinecones, they knocked it out or the park! We also wanted flavors that made sense for December and got apple spice and cinnamon sugar cookie with vanilla buttercream. Best cake ever! We finished every last bite of the leftovers. The tasting experience was also such a fun thing to do with my (then) Fiance. Highly recommend!

The cake was beautiful, exactly what we envisioned, and delicious!! We had such great feedback from our guests. And everyone loved the figurine of our cat that we sent to the bakery in advance.

The master's baker was great to work with for our wedding. During our tasting, Ally took her time walking us through design style ideas for our cake to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. We tasted several different types of cake and had a hard time making a final decision because everything tested so good! Our wedding cake was beautiful and absolutely delicious!

The Master's Baker made us a beautiful two tier cake for our wedding! A cake with them was included in our venue package and we only wanted to go with a smaller cake, so we also got to choose supplemental desserts. The cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted so yummy! Because we went with the smaller cake and had a substantial guest count, we got to pick other desserts and went with cannolis and mini cheesecakes. I didn't try any because I was stuffed, but everyone said they were delicious. I already miss the taste of our wedding cake and wish I could have some right now! The flowers and decorations were beautiful on the cake and matched everything perfectly.

Our tasting was so much fun choosing the flavors for our cake and it was delicious! We had bought two cake toppers, one of our dog and one our last name. We did a virtual tasting, so I went to pick up a box of the most popular cake flavors and icing/jams. We choose the lemon velvet and cinnamon sugar cake, both with vanilla buttercream icing. It was very delicious, and the cake looked stunning in pictures.

I am from West Chester, and grew up having Masters Baker for special occasions. Couldn't wait to use them for my wedding! My husband and I were so happy with the service we received. Our lemon velvet cake with swiss meringue filling alternating with vanilla sour cream pound cake with vanilla buttercream filling was amazing! All of our guests raved about it as well :). The buttercream flower details turned out beautiful too.

I feel like this place is similar to a “tourist trap” but instead a wedding trap. It seems really great from reviews and from all the venues that have partnerships with them but I had several issues with them. First off we didn’t get to try all the flavors we wanted at the consultation (no red velvet) so we asked to try others which they did do for free and it seemed great until I went to pick it up and it was not ready and nor was there the correct flavors of cake and icing in there that I requested. I had driven 25 minutes to pick this up and made the mistake of getting home before looking. I wasn’t going to drive back so we just settled on the flavors we tried. Next I emailed them 3 times with no answer to confirm the flavors we actually wanted. No one ever answered me for a substantial amount of time so I ended up calling them & they did finally take note of the flavors we wanted but charged me 40 extra dollars for a premium icing which was cream cheese icing to go with red velvet cake- the other only option seemed to be vanilla icing? Lastly we had spent 45 minutes at our consultation discussing what we wanted the cake to look like- the colors we wanted and the style. We picked exact pictures that the consultant showed us and it seemed she was writing it all down HOWEVER less than 24 hours from my actual wedding day- I have someone calling me to ask me what I want my cake to look like ??As I’m rushing around last minute to do things and get ready for rehearsal the women was asking me to send pictures of what I wanted our cake to look like. I had to call back and clarify we had already picked from pictures they had provided us. Don’t expect a personalized experience or consistency.

The Master’s Baker is an award winning baker. John Serock Catering also works exclusively with the Master’s Baker. At our tasting, we had the pleasure of choosing from 8 cakes and 6 icing flavors. When I say it was a more difficult decision than picking a wedding dress, I mean it. Daulton and I chose the lemon-blueberry and chocolate chip cakes with vanilla buttercream icing. We actually kept our cake flavors, design, and details a SECRET. Throughout our engagement we would buy small cake topper in our flavors to celebrate us getting closer to our big day. Sorry to all our family members who missed out on all that delicious cake!!!

We used Master’s for our Wedding Cake because it was included in our venue contract but after tasting their cake and desserts, we would have used them regardless. Everything - from cake to dessert was amazing! I’m a celiac (gluten free), love dessert and wanted to be able to eat all the food at our wedding. Master’s was not phased by this at all! They made us a completely gluten free wedding cake and mini desserts - cleaning the kitchen before making any of our baked goods. Everyone at our wedding was in awe that a cake could a) be so delicious and b) also be gluten free. Every one of our vendors knew we were incredibly excited for our wedding cake and now, only 4 days after our wedding - we cannot wait for our first anniversary cake to experience it all again! Note: There were crazy upcharges for a gluten free tasting and for making the day-of desserts/cake gluten free, for that reason we gave 4 stars but taste and quality wise, everything was 5 stars all-around.

Everything was delicious and there were so many flavor options, it was hard to choose! Cake turned out beautiful and tasted incredible!

These cakes are incredible! We got our wedding cake from them, and it was amazing! The design, the taste, everything about it was perfect. It was easy to schedule a tasting, and the shop is on a really cute street if you want to make a day out of it! I would highly recommend this bakery.

The Master Bakers were phenomenal!! Our wedding was March 10th, and we had our initial meeting with them back in October where we were able to eat so many different cakes! It was there that we talked about what we wanted our wedding cake to be like, and came to a conclusion on a final vision. A few months later I had a slightly different idea in mind, and when I reached out to them to make the adjustments they were more than happy to pivot the final product! The staff is incredible, and the cake is phenomenal!! (We still have extra weeks later after giving some away, and it tastes just as good!)

My cake was simple but stunning! More importantly - it was absolutely DELICIOUS. We had 2 different flavors, and everyone raved about how good the cake was. I'm not even a big cake person in general, but I ate a slice of each flavor.
