The Masthead is truly one of a kind, and it couldn’t have been more perfect for us. We got married in September of 2025, and we’ve been told countless times that it was the best atmosphere, the best venue, and the best location! Everyone at the Masthead was so excited for us and so genuinely happy to be there.
We were able to have our friends & family stay in each of the cottages for the weekend, and we had the time of our lives. We went for a morning swim before the wedding, which is something i could not recommend more! Everyone was able to be around and watch our plans come to life, which was truly magical.
Once it was time for the wedding, everyone was in awe of the views and how true it felt to us as a couple. Our ceremony took place at low tide on the beach looking over to long point, which was an absolute dream come true. We took over lawn for cocktail hour with signature drinks, a raw bar, and the largest grazing table i’ve ever seen. At sundown we moved into the clear-top tent for reception, which was a candlelit dinner underneath paper lantern chandeliers. For dancing, we moved to the bell deck and had the time of our lives! The ocean breeze cooled us down and everyone had a blast. Once all was over, guests lingered on the deck and looked out to long point, while enjoying some dessert and reliving each moment.
I could not thank the Masthead enough for their generosity and kindness from beginning to end. Our family misses it dearly and we hope to revisit for our anniversary every year!
We had an incredible wedding at The Masthead Resort in June of 2022. The venue was the perfect location for a private gathering of friends and family for our wedding weekend right in the heart of the West End of Provincetown. The collection of cottages and rooms provided the unique opportunity to have friends and family in each and every room of the hotel without any non-wedding guests. This enabled us to take over the hotel completely for a full weekend of activities. We had an entire weekend of events at the hotel including a Friday night welcome dinner, Saturday ceremony and reception, and Sunday morning brunch. The hotel and grounds provided an incredibly picturesque quintessential Cape Cod backdrop to our affair with plenty of opportunity for a variety of setups on the lawn, pier, beach, and tent arrangement. Our guests were raving about how beautiful the location is. The walkable distance to the main drag of Commercial Street also provided the opportunity for us and our guests to experience Provincetown fully outside of events at the Masthead.
The management and staff at the Masthead were incredibly professional and supportive throughout the planning and during the event. Although having a wedding at this location is not the same one stop shop that we could have had at a catering hall it did provide the opportunity to have a entirely unique personalized event. The management provided full support and great recommendations for vendors that helped pull together an affair that exceeded our expectations. The Masthead was responsive throughout the planning and worked hard to help fulfill our wishes.
During the wedding weekend both the management and staff fully executed on all our planning which allowed us to enjoy the moment with our friends and family. The Masthead staff have a true investment in the success of the property and of our event and were truly enjoyable to work with. The Masthead will always hold a special place in the memories made at our wedding. We recommend this venue highly as wedding location both in Provincetown and on Cape Cod.

The building originally housed a furniture shop serving the people of Worcester before being bought by the Ciluzzi family, the current owners. The waterfront compound is the perfect setting for your wedding or special event.
We have the absolute best location on Cape Cod for an intimate gathering of friends and family. We offer waterfront rooms, suites, and cottages and can accommodate wedding parties of up to 150 persons. 2022 marks 63 years in business, and we are now busy booking weddings and special events in our spacious grass setting just steps away from the beach. Our 450-foot private deck boasts beach access and unmatched views of Provincetown Harbor.
Anything is possible, such as beach cookouts, lobster bakes, and much more. For adventurous types, there are countless activities to take advantage of, such as sailing, water skiing, tennis, and gold.
