/Chinese Ballrooms, and our interactions coordinating events with Melissa and Jackie were all wonderful. However, we did encounter a number of issues in accessing the suites we had reserved upon check-in and it did take quite a long time to resolve and added a great deal of stress at the very start of our wedding. Overall, we were grateful to be able to contact Jackie and her team to help move things along, but us and even our guests encountered a bunch of negative and stress-inducing interactions with the front desk staff who did not appear to be on the same page as the events staff.

otel is absolutely GORGEOUS. The outside is iconic, the main hallway is breathtaking, and the rooms are glamorous. The mirrors and the gold are so photogenic, there is not a single average angle in that space. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special and my mom raves about how kind and attentive everyone was. An amazing space and an amazing decision to have this hotel be a part of my wedding weekend - highly recommend!

ed the planning / coordination for our wedding. The whole Mayflower team went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding was exactly how we envisioned it. Ron and Drayton were both very responsive to our questions throughout the planning process (and we had so many questions!). Drayton was amazing, she was always organized and professional and she managed the planning and scheduling with tremendous expertise. The Mayflower team (bartenders, waiters) were all so professional. Mayflower really went above and beyond to ensure that our guests had a great time and that they their stay at the hotel was flawless. I couldn’t be happier with the Mayflower and everyone who worked to make the day so memorable.

reat look. Cliff was phenomenal to work with and was somewhat flexible on pricing when we agreed to do a Friday wedding. The food was good and the person who was in charge of the event that night was extremely kind and helpful. We had a couple little quirks (some gift bags not delivered, a few wedding crashers, a bit of room block coordination trouble), but those minor things were far outweighed by the great event. There were also some surprise perks like the Chivari chairs I love but we'd chosen not to pay extra for. It will be nice to go back there for anniversaries in the future. It's a lovely place.

tually opted to go with the Mayflower in-house team - and Jerome and Angela did not let us down. We told them what we wanted and what our budget was and they produced a proposal that felt like they had literally been inside my head. Then, at our tasting (this is an advantage of having gone with our venue's in-house florist), we got to see a sample of a table centerpiece. My father walked in the room, which had centerpieces from upcoming weddings at the mayflower on display, and he said, "they're all gorgeous but I really hope that one is yours - it's perfect." He was right - all of them were stunning, but the one that was ours moved my mother to tears (in fairness, that's not hard to do). On our wedding day when we saw our bouquets, boutonieres, and other arrangements we were so pleased with the quality of the work. We told them what we wanted and they nailed it. And of course the bonus of in-house work is that we didn't have to plan for deliveries or anything like that (of course, that wasn't an issue - if we had gone with an outside florist, it wouldn't have been a problem, but it was just one thing we didn't have to worry about). The ceremony room and the reception were perfect, and I highly recommend them even if you aren't getting married at the Mayflower - they know what they are doing and they do it well (they also came in as the least expensive of the florists we interviewed).

Also, she promptly replied to e-mails and phone calls and was always willing to meet in person. Reina Martin was awesome, too -- she helped set the tone of our reception with lighting and really helped make everything just beautiful. I was a very happy bride :)
