Karin was wonderful to work with as our wedding photographer. Her calm nature and “up for anything” attitude made our day so relaxing and fun! She was a trooper as we took our entire wedding on a short hike up Black Balsam between the ceremony and reception. She made both us and our guests so comfortable. Her amazing candids of our friends and family during the hike are some of my most favorite possessions. Karin also worked with Joe and I to be more of our goofy selves in front of the camera which was really nice, since we were both a little awkward in the beginning. Karin was the perfect blend of professional and personable during every step of the process! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer in WNC!

When my husband and I decided (on rather short notice) to elope, the one thing we wanted for our mountain-top wedding was a solid set of photos to remember it by. The pictures Karin shot are beyond beautiful; a year later, my friends' parents--who weren't even there--still talk about how gorgeous the photos are! And Karin's personality is every bit as lovely as the photographs she produces. She was at once warm and professional, and she seemed genuinely excited for us and invested in our big day. We couldn't have asked for a better, more talented photographer (and witness, to boot)!

Karin is an AMAZING person to have photograph your wedding. She is incredibly flexible, creative and thoughtful during the actual photography. Her easygoing demeanour helps you feel relaxed and natural which transitions into the photos. We had a few ideas of where to get photos taken in the mountains, she did her own research and suggested a few additional locations-these turned out to be our favourite photos. Karin really captures the big and small moments of the day and every photo brings a smile to our faces looking back. The photo album came to us quickly, edited beautifully, perfectly organized into folders and of a very high quality. I have attended several weddings that she has photographed and seeing her work so quietly but intentionally behind the scenes to get those perfect moments and photos makes it clear why her photos turn out so beautifully. I would 100% recommend Karin to any bride and groom looking for a professional, friendly, stress free and talented photographer on their big day!
